Are you excited for Vikings season 5?
I know I am
If Lagertha got into a fight with five swarthy moors, who would win?
>>85493217
I've loved this girl since her bit part in CSI - Why did they waste the years of her youth and only cast her in a big role after her sell by date has past?
>>85493217
I kinda am, I am mildly optimistic that the quality of the show will rise again.
who /season 3 hype/ here?
Reddit and tuMblr got a 3rd season?
>>85492961
We need to start R&M generals and have them stickied.
Rick and Morty is a funny show but I'm afraid they're appealing to the Reddit fanbase, no memes. The emphasis on Rick being the smartest guy ever, the nihilistic themes being played up, lorefaggotry, even in the ads they said "How can a sho this smart be this dumb?".
Stop. It has some clever ideas but it's not a show I would call genuinely intelligent. They need to just focus on being funny and not cave in to what the cancerous fanbase wants. Season 1 was great and they should copy it's success, the 3rd season opener concerned me
How would you go about adapting Dragon Ball?
Sagas adapted? Cast? Director?
Trying to adapt dragonball would be a major mistake and would look terrible no matter how you put it
Do the Cell storyline

What the fuck is wrong with her hand?
Like what the fuck? This is the most normie shit in existence. It's for housewives to watch when they want to feel smart. It's shit for the birds.
All the concepts are so poorly developed it makes me physically ill to watch the stories play out. Half the episodes are based on technological advances but the writers seem to be completely technologically impaired. I can already see the fucking hacks sitting in the room throwing their half-assed ideas.
>"Hey! what if like, you know how teenagers are always on their cellphones?"
>" Ya, totally candycrush and shit. fucking millennials immaright? "
>" Ya, ya so imagine like if like we get consumed by technology and become supershallow and shit."
>"Holy shit, that's brilliant! why has no one ever thought about this before?"
>" Wait till you see my next idea. I was watching Ex machina last night, something about a china room, wasn't really paying attention movie was boring but that shit gave me an idea. What if like we created artificial copies of the human mind and like made them work for us. To do our chores and stuff, you know? That'd be fucked up right?"
>" Yo that's so deep man..."
This. Show sucks dick.

fucking everything is garbage nowadays.

Define "nowadays"

Is it too soon guys? Why is Charlie sheen who used to be a truther, now starring in a film (((based on true events)))
Genuine question: were there no real actors of actresses who were available for this film? Was the pay too low? Did they not like the subject matter?
If they can get Mark Wahlberg to do a movie about the Boston Marathon bombing where 3 people died, you'd think they'd get prestigious actors to do a film about an event that killed 3000.
>in theatres september 8th
>Not 11th
I already saw this movie.
Except it was called Devil and it sucked.

What are some movies or series where kids get killed on screen?
>>85491320
Just for everyone who is wondering, this is not Matt Damon.
>>85491631
or is it?
>>85491320
The only ones I can think of are this and that terrible Guillermo del Toro movie "Mimic."
Though to be fair, all Guillermo del Toro movies are terrible.

is this the most anti-capitalist movie of the last 20 years?

Funny, 'cause in the books, they destroy a museum.
Only the plebiest of the plebs actually think that the narrator's problem stem from consumerism instead of seeing it as a sympton.
>we destroyed the banks
No it's not
it's the most reddit movie in the last 20 years
What did I think of this film, /tv/?
good but too long and repetitive, the torture scenes lost their impact too soon, especially after adam driver's character dies. Expecting me to give a shit about some random japs after already seeing a major character die was dumb.
why did the Chinese hate the monks so much? It never explains it. Also the language is too hard to understand and acting was strange.

>why did the Chinese hate the monks so much?
>Chinese

>It never explains it.
But it is explained in the scene where the inquisitor talks with the priest in his house. The problem is that Japan has its own culture and some aspects of Christianity goes against that culture, like polygamy for example.
You wouldn't feel comfortable if tomorrow some Islamic priest or something tries to convert you and your country into Islam.
>Movie takes its characters seriously
How is that a bad thing again? Spider-Man 2 took its characters seriously and it's considered the best superhero movie of all time.
Spider-Man 2 was well written and directed though.

Because it's a bunch of men running around in tights.
It's a masterpiece. I fucking adore this movie.
Do you think 1080p and 4K have ruined close ups in television and film for actresses over a certain age?
1080p no but 4k yes. 4k closeups are horrible.
Humans are just ugly as fuck.
