These things are subjective, but I'm looking for some thoughts/recommendations on '90s movies that you feel deserve more love, or a second look..

reminder that the root cause of all the issues in the show is the writers having a distaste for /maturemen/

Why not cast a guy who...you know... looks like Barry Allen?
That sucks, but I'm more upset that we're not getting a comics accurate Iris West. Pic-related would have been perfect.
>>85547203
DC was planning on casting Imogen Poots as Iris until it leaked and Black Twitter got pissed they were white washing a character they didn't know had been white for fifty years and started the hashtag #KeepIrisBlack. Then crappy media sites blew it up to look like it was coming from real DC fans, so WB quickly hired a black director (who later left due to creative differences because he wanted the Flash to solve the murder of an unarmed black teen at the hand of police) and this one as Iris.

as long as they plan on having the step sibling thing a different race would really make it better unless they wanna end up like clueless
ITT, Characters that people unfairly hate. For me, its pic related. The whole story, whether the show or books, she is the only major player that has the will and desire to make the world a better place.Stannis was all about "muh birthright" Robb and Ned supposedly were all about "muh honor" and Renly and the Lannisters only cared about their own power. Also, she is the is the inky righteous character, she has never commited a truly tyrannical act and is kind and wise and brave and decisive while being empathetic and open to advice and strong-willed.I look forward to her final victory
>>85546923
I wish sunset would find her squatting over my face
>>85546923
she's incompetent, never made a good decision on her own once in the show.
>>85546923
>she has never commited a truly tyrannical act
what about she just fed a random nobleman from mereen to her dragons without any real reason to think him or any of the others had anything to do with the sons of the harpy?
Why doesn't this masterpiece get more recognition? I know it's a Disney film, but it transcends that. Truly a phenomenal work.
>>85546198
You watching it on ABC Family too? First time I've seen it.
>>85546198
Way too much sex appeal for a Disney film
>>85546198
I agree, it's my favourite animated Disney film. Didn't it release around the time people were getting tired of traditional animation though?

I don't get it. She's an objectively beautiful woman and yet she still hasn't hit the big time. Can she just not act or is there something more?

I actually thought it was her when I saw the trailer for the Flatliners remake but it's Nina Dobrev.

Why don't you like the forest setting?
I'm a couple episodes into season 2. I'm a bit late, I know. What the hell happened? Did they get a new writer?
season 2 is better than season 1 just keep watching. I thought season 3 was the best season of them all, every episode was interesting, unexpected and unique.
>>85545377
I'll definitely stick with it. Right now, I'm a bit dumbfounded. The show underwent a major change in direction. It feels like all the loose ends from season 1 were resolved awkwardly, and the characters are behaving radically different. I'm enjoying it but I can't help but wonder what went on behind the scenes.
Season 2 is objectively worse than season 1
Gendry Baratheon will rule Westeros at the end of season 8

Am I the only one who hates the idea that the show has Danaerys land her forces on Dragonstone? Militarily, it's just about the dumbest thing she could possibly have done: she's taken a *ground* force that is basically unstoppable (against human foes, anyway) and stranded it on an island, where the Iron Islander fleet that she *knows* is out there can hit the one element of her military that is actually vulnerable, potentially crippling her entire campaign. Only an idiotic commander would land on Dragonstone under these circumstances, and Danaerys isn't supposed to be an idiot.
On a personal level, Dany has spent most of the series trying, and mostly failing, to assemble enough ships to carry her forces to Westeros. The first fleet she put together was burned by her enemies. She gets a second fleet, puts her troops on it, sails off, and... disembarks before she reaches the continent?! (After taking a sharp right turn and sailing hundreds of miles more than were necessary to reach Westeros proper?) That simply makes no sense. She's taking a huge and pointless risk, and there's no way she would fail to notice that.
The show-runner reasons for putting Dany on Dragonstone are obvious (a little homecoming drama in Episode 1, an opportunity for meeting with Jon and discussing dragonglass and White Walkers sometime soon, and a chance for Euron to throw a cheap and obviously avoidable obstacle in Dany's path by attacking her fleet), but none of them have any basis in her character or that of anyone in her retinue. (What happened to those Dornish ships we saw in the final few shots of Season 6? Are they still with her? When the fleet made its bizarre turn to the north through the Stepstones, did the captains of those ships yell "Hey, you idiots, we have a nice harbor waiting for you RIGHT OVER THERE!"?)
