this, he's a conservatard
I bet it will feature amazing alien/technology design, an ambitious musical score, inventive camera work, with serviceable and inoffensive performances and a fast-paced almost nonsensical story.
I bet it will shit in the comics
I bet Star Wars will be closer to the comics than the film!

>Board of black obsessed autists isn't talking about movie so its dead on arrival
Delusional.
this movie is the fucking shit, there isn't a single thing about this movie that i don't love, but i have a question
[spoilers] what the fuck was up with the weird glasses guy and his house? and the color red whenever he was around?[/spoilers]
i'm pretty sure this is the first time red ever shows up in the movie, and not only is the guy wearing red but here it is lined up with his gaze
something that was immediately interesting to me to is how frank does not react to this power move, he reacts immediately whenever his money is involved, but he doesn't seem to even notice this, let alone all the other weird shit this guy is saying
there's a joke about frank joining a union, but by the end of i was left wondering if maybe that line wasn't just a joke but an insinuation on the lens through which we should see the struggle between frank and this weird guy who's established himself as a dominating father figure within his extended family/business hierarchy
i was ready to ignore this observations as simple style choice, but the final scene has a particular moment when the whole scene and even movie shifts into a surreal type of vibe
we see frank's reaction to being cornered, and the final scene starts off how we'd expect it to, him simply following through on the character as presented up to that point in the movie, but after he knocks someone out after having entered the house, theres a still moment when he points the gun at a woman in the house and she doesn't react, only giving him a lingering dead stare that she slowly moves back to the television. plenty of slow motion action shots in the movie, but here it's almost as if everything freezes.
and after this, all of framing techniques used in the movie get ramped the fuck up, as after he leaves the lady we get a shot of him moving through the kitchen while some blue and red fixture is kept in frame until it aligns with his movement.
finally, the movie ends on a contrived self take that ends on particular framing of frank that brought to mind his earlier idea of having nothing to lose, not caring except without the possibility of a white picket fence
so what does it all mean? does the ending imply that now he's truly free? is the insinuation here that his environment can't let him be happy, that there is this inherent tension between him and the world?
is the final shot in any way related to the shot of sea with the fisherman?
the shot of the lady, and realization of the extent to which guy in the accompanying file is weird as fuck with his "i'm a father" "i take care of my own"

>The film has more fun and creativity and beautiful visuals than every sci-fi and capeshit flick of the last 30 years combined
Are you gonna let it flop, /tv/?Dane, I know you're reading this. You were fucking awful in the film
theres nothing i can do my dude
It's less and less worthwhile for studios to try anything new when they can just crank out batman and star wars and transformers and endless bullshit remake reboot reimagined crap that people reliably spend money to see.
>vastly overbudgeted passion-project adaptation of a solid european sci-fi comic
Already learned my lesson after watching that abortion of a Nikopol adaptation
