Now that the dust has settle, can we agree that pic related deserved an Oscar for best picture?
>>85213795
Let's hear you try and explain why it did
>>85213845
>Patriotism

one of bill paxtons best roles.
also, centrist kino
Is this accurate?
How can anyone deny it after Civil Disagreement and Mr Strange? Haven't seen Homecoming and have zero interest to do so.
>>85512621
Homecoming is pretty good and I hated Civil War and Strange. Take that how you will.

based
So, who was in the right, /tv/?
Crassus or Gracchusor Spartacus?
So I just marathoned the first seasons, does it get better? The love scenes/arcs are slow and boring as shit.
>>85213605
the show is pretty steady in it's mediocreness and the ending is alright. if you liked it so far keep watching, if not just don't waste your time
>>85213605
stays pretty much the same, with the love arcs taking more and more room.
I have a hard time believing a motorcycle gang would be able to survive for 40 years when they constantly double cross, back out on promises and cheat everyone they meet.
This was pretty good. Intense, heartfelt, tragic. Definitely a companion to A Separation. It's a shame that Iran is full of cunts, maybe Farhadi could have enjoyed his success in the US.
The Past is good as well
>>85213657
That looks interesting, if a little similar to A Separation. Thanks man.
I didn't realize how much I liked domestic dramas in Iran.
No one wants to discuss the best foreign language film?
How do you from this...
...To this?

It's evolution, baby
wouldn't a good friend end his suffering?
>>85213301
It's not the Jedi way ;^)
Why did the germans target the ships why didn't they just destroy the docking bridge?
Our Guys?
Neither one ever has a real grasp on what they're talking about.
So yes.
never.
>>85512272
dont know who they are, but this is accurate description of 4chan in general. /tv/ in particular.
>action scene in a film
>just 100 quick cuts so you barely understand what's going on
>this supposedly makes the scene feel more intense
this is why most war films are boring
thats why Wick is so good
breath of fresh air
LotR has some of the shittiest battle scenes
Great trilogy otherwise
Looks like we're finally getting some answers in Dark Matter
>Episode 310, “Built, Not Born”: This one explores TWO and the Android’s surprising backstory. We learn the Android’s origin – and her name.
>Episode 311, “The Dwarf Star Conspiracy”. Many of the narrative pieces put in play in previous seasons begin to pay off – like this reveal of exactly what Alexander Rook was up to when he created Rebecca aka Portia aka TWO.
Well I was pleased by the news
ITT: Shows nobody but you remembers, but you barely remember them
>>85212956
All I remember is that it was on Spike TV in its ill-fated attempt to mimic Adult Swim. It was also openly supportive of George W. Bush.

There was a large wave of support for him directly post-9/11 but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
