So on multiple Spider-Man/Superhero forums, the users are claiming Spider-Man is a success, and will be profitable for Sony.
I did the research. Studios generally keep 50% of the domestic revenue, and keep around 40% of the global revenue.
50% of domestic would be 115M at the moment.
40% of over seas would be around 110-120 M at the moment.
So by my own estimates, the film is at around 235 M in the pocket for Sony. The film has a 175 M budget which is confirmed, and a marketing budget of 140 M (could be a lot higher but lets low ball it for now) which is also confirmed by multiple sources. Which put SM:HC at at 315 M to break even.
In what planet is this is a success? Why are Marvel drones so fucking delusional? Am I missing something?

Dude, stop pretending you know anything whatsoever about box office profits and the movie industry. You, just like myself and everyone else on /tv/, literally make up numbers and percentages just to gauge a movies success or failure. No one here actually knows.
>>85268410
It's doing great and is considered a success. Fuck Wonder Woman and find a new Batman, quick.
Cuz Affleck is done.
>>85268410
>marketing budget of 140 M
isn't that what other companies payed to be in the movie?
What happened /tv/, you said Bella would be the one in blockbuster movies and Zendaya would fade away.
bella looks like a prostitute thats been doing hard drugs for a decade and shes still 50 times hotter than zendaya
Are you excited for his next cinematic event "Justice League"?

This guy's head is like a multi-vitamin that grew a beard and thinks it's important.
Is he talking about his masterpiece tweets?
What are some movies that don't completely suck, but grills would like?
>>85268358
It's a wright movie. It's the generic summer stylized film. It has all the same tropes and cliches but It's a fun movie. Don't expect anything more than a Good but same old movie.
It's fucking incredible, especially when you're high as fuck
Well what else worth to watch?
its filled with capeshit and remakes
>walk out of this 0/10 movie
>brother asks me what I think of it
>blatant propaganda trash
>he rolls his eyes
>oh here we go what now femanon
>ask him if he saw any black couples
>he doesn't say anything
>who was Michelle's love interest
>white guy

>white guy
>who was the indian kid dating
>white girl
>who were the news anchors
>black guy and white girl
>he is stunned and remains silent
>finally asks why they are doing that
I think this movie red pilled my brother.
If you are a Nubian, I want you to go to your mother right now and ask her why she let down her people and her country. Then punch her in the fucking gob
I'm just replying because you are undoubtedly a girl and as a beta I feel obligated to reply and give you attention, totally unrelated to the context.
>>85268312
Wow. Your brother's a fucking retard if he was impressed by that.
>>85268312
Is this the new pasta? Because it was posted earlier except it was a sister not a brother.

>"People always told me, 'Oh you gotta watch Bill Hicks'. So I go to see on the youtube...2 hours, I don't laugh." - Norm MacDonald
So who is in the wrong here?
Bill Hicks is a hack praised by 15 year olds who just started smoking weed
>>85552617
fpbp
Hicks was an unoriginal douche who thought he had figured everything out because he tripped on mushrooms.
>>85552569
Bill Hicks wasn't even funny. In fact if he was alive today he be like Stefan Molyneoux a nu-philisopher.
>When Belinda McClory auditioned for the role of "Switch", she was only going for half the role. The character was originally planned to be played by androgynous actors. In the real world, it would be played by a male actor and in the Matrix be represented in a female form, hence the name "Switch". Warner Brothers refined the idea and McClory ended up getting a single female role in both environments.
So I guess the Wachowskis were into weird trans shit even back then huh?
>mfw a studio actively tried preventing trans bullshit
holy shit, how the times have changed

/tv/ for some reason likes this piece of shit horror film and I love horror. This was obviously recommended by a Gen-Z who thought that it taking place in '80's meant it was edgy and cool. The Void fucking sucked and compared to The Thing this movie is garbage.
>>85268004
Why didn't you like it? It doesn't come close to the thing but it was decent. The monster designs were cool.
I agree, it was pretty crap. I liked the practical effects and some of the atmosphere, but the characters, acting, and dialogue were all dog shit.
>>85268004
How many times are you going to make this failed thread faggot?
I just saw Threads 1984, I feel awful. Is there more movies about nuclear war that don't shy away from the horrors of it?
Terminator 2?
I guess watching realistic movies about people getting their faces melted off by nuclear fire isn't that appealing, maybe some other anons know some.
>>85268012
Terminator 2 is a great movie, that dream sequence with the nuclear attack haunted me for a long while.

The Day After
