23 and the struggle is real. Just finished college and I'm already near hopeless and broke.
Can anyone give me pointers? I'm working on a movie. Think "The Santa Clause" but replace Tim Allen with a Rude and crude girl, late teens early twenties. Also replace Santa clause with a princess. So basically, This tomboy every girl, on her __ birthday starts magically transforming, little by little into a magical princess(I.e. Birds and rodents start following her, people randomly start bursting into song around her, as does she. Other small gags being she never has to worry about her hair, her tats become alive, her farts have no smell) and learn the truth behind her real parents and her past.
If you want someone to read your script upload it, preferably not on /tv.

Is there a lazier way to heighten the stakes? I think not.
Realistic writing isn't lazy

>"I think it’s fairly widely known that I don’t have a lot of respect for the films that were made later," Cameron tells Australian news site news.com.au. "I was supportive at the time in each case for Arnold’s (Schwarzenegger) sake because he is a close friend. He has been a mate of mine since 33 years ago so I was always supportive and never too negative. But they didn’t work for me for various reasons."
>So what happens next, and how can he find his happy place again? "The question is – has the franchise run its course or can it be freshened up?" continues Cameron. "Can it still have relevance now where so much of our world is catching up to what was science fiction in the first two films. We live in a world of predator drones and surveillance and big data and emergent AI.
>“So I am in discussions with David Ellison, who is the current rights holder globally for the Terminator franchise and the rights in the US market revert to me under US copyright law in a year and a half so he and I are talking about what we can do. Right now we are leaning toward doing a three-film arc and reinventing it."
Just let it die Jim for fuck sake
Alien, Predator, Terminator, all 3 franchises and their spin-offs should be scrapped. The original movies were based on mystery and surprise, traits you can't recapture when you know exactly what the monster is and more or less what it can do (consider how Terminator 3 could only progress from a shapeshifting robot to a shapeshifting robot with a built-in blaster) Alien and Terminator each had an action-oriented sequel which pushed the premise as far as it could go without dull repetition (Arnie's back - for the 3rd time!) or left-field camp (John Connor's an evil cyborg with superpowers)

Is it kino?
Road House is actually pretty good. I didn't watch it for a long time because I thought it was one of those "so bad it's good" meme movies that end up just being shitty, but I actually enjoyed it a lot.
I watched this after watching the Family Guy episode and I don't think he ever kicked anybody once.
>Posting "is it kino" for a movie that's a genuinely great movie
I don't get this meme
>You're using the eye crust as-
>As a topping for my world famous Crumble Surprise!
What the fuck? That's fucked up.
That the pink eye one? What a fucked episode. I remember that the chick was hot tho

bruh

It's been years. Yuck tho
Just got back from Dunkirk. Did Nolan really just hire Hardy back to wear a mask and crash planes? That was probably my favorite aspect of the movie.
I thought the movie had a slow beginning and a lot going on, probably the least captivating movie he's done, especially since the British accent against the wartime background made it strained to follow what they were talking about.
>I'll be useful Sir
>Gets twatted by some shellshocked dude
>Die
>George, 17, Dies Hero at Dunkirk
fucking kek, chin up George you useless cunt

Holy shit yes, I thought the other kid was going to get mad at him for overreacting or trying to chicken out, but they actually went that route. Reminded me of Talia's death scene in TDKR.
How does all that happen to you from a hit and fall?

He knocked his head on a metal thing (looked like a valve) after falling from a height.
