We all know that feel anon.
After 20 years of watching movies, playing videogames, reading books and listening to music we've literally experienced it all. Why do you think all those frogposting cliché threads exist?
Everything is a retread. There is no originality anymore.
>>87488110
I only come to /tv/ to find a movie to watch. I end up shitposting here until I find a suggestion. I also have a list of movies anons have suggested to watch, have posted about that looks good or posted about and reminded me.

Now that the dust has settled, where does the Return rank along Lynch's other work?
First for Leaping Lad.

I hope this is true as Channel 4 are now dicking around on commissioning a fourth series because thats how you treat successful multiple BAFTA award-winning shows that cost you fuck all to make if you are Channel 4.
I don't know how you are doing with Dickie Davis references and Brucie jokes but there is an extremely beautiful naked woman in the "Bonus Ball" episode if that helps Ameribros.
>>87407205
I've been watching it for the last couple of days now.
>>87407205
I liked nobody here knowing about it.
Where the fuck is series 4.
Loved it so much we called out dog Clem Fandango so we could tell him we hear him.
Not sure how I'd feel about a series four though, a lot of the time these shows end when they need to and any more would ruin what made them special. See Peep Show as an example. It really should have ended at series four.
It's really unfortunate they couldn't afford to pay Joe pesci to film this scene

Wait so Jack from Titanic, Jack from The Shining, Jack (Scott MacDonald) from the 1997 horror Jack Frost and Jack (Michael Keaton) from the 1998 Jack Frost film are all the same person?
Post your face when an ebonic meal preparer
>Characters are afraid each of one specific thing
Isn't that a bit weird?
I've never know a person who could think of something that scares them the most. Even if there was such a thing, it'd probably be a scenario, not some silly shit like "Spiders" or "Clowns"
This is character writing 101. Each character needs a primary trait, a goal or personality type that governs all of their actions within the story. One way to spice things up is to give them another trait that can conflict with that goal or personality. It creates turmoil and a challenge for them to overcome and grow.
>>87488164
Yeah, 101. The most basic when you don't know any better. Not for professionals.
>>87488185
SO MUCH THIS! All good writers ignore the fundamentals and just plop out a good old fashioned bucket of loose, muddy diarrhea. That's how you they're a good writer.
>born to be wild starts playing
>character from California is in the Midwest during the winter
>California Dreamin' starts playing

are you hyped for suburbicon or what
Example: All of the Apollo shit in The Shining. Danny's rocket ship shirt. Cans of tang in the pantry etc.
I love shit like this.

What did he mean by this?
>>87406924
he subtly implies that going into space is a mistake. the monkeys discovered that using sticks as tools made them superior and thus they developed (into human). Man in space fell asleep and lost his 'tool'. No good is ahead
