Is this the most realistic horror movie ever made?
>Stephen King discusses Cujo in On Writing, referring to it as a novel he "barely remembers writing at all". The book was written during a period when King was drinking heavily. King goes on to say that he likes the book and that he wishes he could remember enjoying the good parts as he put them down on the page

The new movie doesn't get what makes killer clowns so creepy
The first movie had a clown that actually looked friendly, so you never knew that he was a serial killer, meanwhile the new clown doesn't even act like a human, he seems creepy all the time and that makes him less creepy, since you know he's evil
I haven't seen the original movie yet, but the design of the clown alone and the fact that they used great practical effects makes it a cult classic, while the new tryhard evil clown design and the overuse of CGI will make people forget about the new It a few months after it premieres
Its even about "killer clown" you fucking mong
>>86323708
in the original mini series, the clown is 100% evil and doesn't hide it. maybe he seems more friendly than the new movie, but that's most like due to more practical effects and/or Tim Curry's mannerisms. but Pennywise's actual attitude is always creepy/evil
that's pretty often what's wrong with sci fi or horror remakes lately
that film really got UNDER my SKIN

i'll post the ones i've made but even for someone who dislikes that film those are some pretty empty shots you chose
Thoughts?
cute
Bajorans are space chechens
Is that the evil Cardassian cunt pretending to be Bajoran from Voyager?
How come no one talks about the fact that Jon and Daenarys brought a bunch of savages to a civilization that is much more culturally advanced?
Assuming they win, what about all those dothraki and wildlings roaming free in westeros in the times of peace? Are they simply abandoning their old culture? no more raping, pillaging, being easily proned to violence, accepting the use of currency and laws?
That sounds highly irrealistic. In reality it not only would halt the progress of westeros as a society, but make it go backwards.
Why is no one talking about this?

I only see maesters and alchemists there

Can we discuss web-shooters for a sec? Which one did you guys prefer?

My dick lmao
the one that cribbed Cameron's notes.
Natural web shooters are more believable and fit the spideman powers than a kid being able to invent them.
Post yfw Chris Hansen tells you to take a seat.

-There's a really cool scene at Jabba's Palace.
Lots of practical effects. We even get to see some of the lower levels in the palace. Jabba looks great. Way better than the special edition and more realistic than Jedi, but nothing CGI or distracting.
-We see Han on Corellia and he has a run-in with Dengar.
-Han's friend, Beckett, saves him from some Imperials and teaches him the ways of the criminal underworld (this takes place very close to the start of the movie).
-There's a very brutal bounty hunter scene. Han, Becket, and Lando are ambushed during a run on Nar Shadaa and Beckett is killed. Han and Lando fend off the bounty hunters in the streets. There's a wild chase on speeders through the city sprawl. Han and Lando get separated. Han thinks he's safe and tries to regroup, but that's when Dengar surprises him. They get into a fight and both end up disarmed, so it turns into a fist fight. Lando comes in and saves Han.
-In his pre-smuggling days on Corellia, Han enters a pod racing type of event and wins...but it's at the expense of Dengar, who suffers some severe head trauma.
-Han and Dengar actually grew up in the same area on Corellia and were casual acquaintances. They didn't like eachother but they didn't hate eachother either. After the race, Dengar is resentful.
-Dengar is a major villain throughout the whole movie, but not the main one. The main villain is a sadistic Imperial named Count Vidian, who's cracking down hard on Smugglers. Dengar is on Vidian's payroll and wants to satisfy his grudge against Han.
>Literally who Dengar is Hans rival
>Not Boba Fett

The more movies they make, the more they show the emperor was right all along

Has /tv/ seen it?
I'm surprised I don't see it referenced here more often, even if only in pictures.
Quick aside, it doesn't really portray the Nazis antagonistically in an objective sense as some of you might assume upon seeing "An Amazon Original," but rather is only seen that way by the in-show opposition (i.e. "The Resistance," who are also shown as hypocritical in a moral sense at one point). In fact, sometimes particular Nazis are portrayed sympathetically (like Obergrüppenführer Smith for example).
Anyway, it would appear to portray a world that many of you might find desirable. Personally, I find that very naive but I'm curious.
Does extreme-right 4chan like it?
>Does extreme-right 4chan like it?
Afaik no, because too much Hollywood-Nazism.
Haven't seen it personally, so I dunno.

It makes sense to keep races generally seperate because its a fact that everyone prefers to be around their own race.
Also makes sense to sterilize people who have the genes to create retarded babies
I dont get why they show this in such a negative view on the show. Guess its still considered edgy to think like that
>show barely has anything to do with the book
