you know
ive always known that its lowest common denominator trash, but ive enjoyed it enough for what it is
this last episode tho, it must have been written by some landwhale nigger lesbian or some shit, it finally sank low enough to destroy my interest in it
>zombie outbreak movie
>breaking news about an unknown illness or unexplained violence
>characters ignore it or turn it off TV and carry on with their daily routine
>characters have family arguing in the kitchen and ignore the tv
They need to get with 2017 and have them do the "emergency flood warning" bullshit on everyone's phones at the same time about a zombie outbreak so everyone can swipe it away and go about their business
Who the fuck would listen now that fake news is a meme
>All the characters act like they have never heard of a zombie before
You do support the film industry right /tv/?

This new Pennywise has to be the scariest movie monster we've seen in years. Literally years. There's two scenes in this movie that absolutely sent shivers down my spine. First when Pennywise possesses the slideshow and we finally get to see his very creepy and mental face in the final scene. What a build-up! I nearly pissed myself.
The other one is in the basement, first we see the excellent performance by Georgie's actor. You'll float too never has sounded more epically scary. And then Pennywise rises from the waters. I jumped in my chair and still do when watching this. I can tell I will be on the edge of my seat in theatres this september.

Why did Brad Pitt support killing people because of their political views?
>>86347459
Because they're engaged in a military conflict with people of that political view.

It was a different time.

How's he holding up in jail?
Is there actually anyone out there who didn't like the new planet of the apes?
I feel like the movie gets praised for being heavy, but that doesn't automatically makes the movie good.
Spoilers:That might be just personal taste, but i simply didn't like the fact that the 3rd movie played in that concentration camp, which felt a little like the part from the first movie, with ramped up drama.
I also liked how the first part of the movie was basicly a development of the main ape, and was about "how much can a man/ape take without turning cruel", but that camp part stopped this development.
Also: what was up with the final fight-scene? The people let the apes build a wall right in front of a petrol container? They must have known that the other army will attack them with helicopter, so basicly, even if caesar didn't throw that grenade to blow up everything. One rocket from the helicopter would be enough to destroy their whole camp
I haven't watched it yet because the 2nd film was godawful
>>86294802
>We're using the apes as slave labour to build a big wooden wall
>not to defend against hordes of apes which is the only thing this would be conceivably effective against, but another human army using helicopters, tanks and artillery
>we're also a military unit but we have no concept of fucking sentries for our front gate
>also, despite being a military unit, only one guy is watching the cage and he's going to get baited inside the cage full of apes with the keys lmao
I can't believe I was tricked into watching this
>>86295047
yes, also the part with the guard. jesus christ
Hey /tv/, I was listening to Red Letter Media's Blair Witch Re:view on SoundCloud when it occurred to me.
While the Blair Witch Project was very popular, the found footage genre didn't really get popular until the late 2000's/early 2010's. The 2 big movies that started this wave of found footage films (which is now ending I think) were Cloverfield and Paranormal Activity. So why did those 2 films start that wave when Blair Witch is arguably the biggest of the genre? Was cause cell phones got better cameras?
What do you guys think?

The resolution in BWP is pretty subpar because consumer home cameras were pretty shitty.
>>86294758
Personally, I think the film was okay. It was just that nothing really happens in Blair Witch.
I mean sure, stuff happens, but not in the way stuff happens in Cloverfield or Paranormal Activity.
I want to go to prison now, the movie
You already know what it's like to be in prison to a degree if you're a typical NEET with how socially isolated you become.
I thought the ending was weak, cool daredevil reunion though
What did they mean by this?
Kinos women will NEVER EVER understand
>>86294732
But my female film teacher loves this film
womidn heref, wut r moobied
As much as that movie newfag'd the shit out of this place, it never seemed to be a guy favorite; it was always women trying to shill this shit onto their boyfriends/ brothers.
Anyone else get this effect?
