Does anyone here like fan edits? Just saw this one and Memento in chronological order and it's a fun new experience. I honestly think Pulp Fiction would have been better in chronological order with a few changes.

They can be neat. Helps you appreciate how important editing can be.
It's also neat when they do something interesting. Robots vs. Kung Fu is pretty great. It's mostly the matrix, but re-edited into this really kitchy grindhouse-esque cyber punk movie. It's so weird and goofy that it's hard not to recommend.

Historyfags of /tv/, what are some of the most historically accurate films ever made? Please note that I'm not necessarily asking for good films, but ones that are just very, very accurate and visually authentic when it comes to the time period and people they are representing.
The first one that comes to mind for me is Gettysburg. While its certainly a tedious film, the fact amount of extras used and the fact that they were allowed to film the battle on the ACTUAL Gettysburg battlefield reaches an unbelievable level of authenticity.

Alexander Revisited
Underrated movie, I really enjoyed when I watched it last. I feel though you lose some of the appeal when you're not too familiar with the story of Alexander.
They're home to probably the most authentic ancient battle scenes on the screen. Gaugamela is a masterpiece.

FWWM, then S3. FWWM contains a ton of plot details used and expanded on in S3, and it's kino.
You can watch The Missing Pieces after FWWM if you want, it contains some extra scenes cut from the movie. Most are really good and should have been in the movie if not for time constraints.
