Am I supposed to take this performance seriously? The man speaks in one-liners.
"You hear that, Bob? That's the sound of big brass balls clanging together."
Every fucking line of dialogue is this awfully written shit, and it's made all the worse by the fact that the other actors speak relatively normally.
WHY WOULD YOU WRITE A CHARACTER LIKE THIS?
At least it's distracting from the fact that Gooding looks and acts nothing like OJ.
That show was so much less interesting than the actual trial when it was happening.
When will 80s nostalgia end?
when 90s nostalgia catches on

Yabba dabba do
> Dany is the daughter of an infamously sociopathic king, has brought the Dothraki to Westeros, routinely burns people alive with her dragon abominations, hires murderers and traitors as her advisors
And she's the hero why?
In the book, Dany is supposed to get betrayed by Varys and Tyrion because they realize she's just another cunt who doesn't deserve to be in power.
Now chisler...there's a word I understand.

Just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger now he's dead
So in a recent BBC poll among hundreds of critics, this was voted as the #1 comedy of all time.
This couldn't be made today, right?

Some Like it Hot is one of the few pre-1970 movies I've seen that didn't bore the shit out of me
>>86839594
Can you give me an example of a pre-1970 movie that bored you and one that didn't?
>>86839637
some Hitchcock movie I don't even remember the name of, supposedly one of his best but it bored me to tears.
ones that didn't were It's a Wonderful Life and Stagecoach, which shocked me how well it held up.
Shitty versions of Avatar I'll start.
At first it was orders but then I fell in love with you, the people.
Just saw Get Out for the first time and enjoyed it. The direction was impressive, bona fide horror. The uncomfortable real life parallels were fertile material for the genre.
I seem to remember when it came out, this specific image was being memed here a lot, and i'm wondering what that was all about, rundown and whatnot if you please.
The dude from Atlanta was great.
