To me mid to late 1970's New York was both the city's peak and its nadir. When you think about NY THAT is the era that hits your mind; Studio 54; CBGB's; Plato's Retreat; grindhouses, porn theaters; Screw Magazine etc....

I'm hoping that The Deuce will be the show that we wanted Vinyl to be and it's shame that Martin Scorsese wasn't involved since Taxi Driver perfectly captured the look and feel of the time which is one of the reasons why it's an iconic classic and Scorsese's best film!!!FACT!!!
