Is two days/nights enough to spend in vegas?

My personal recommendation is no more and no less than five days. Long enough to see what it has to offer but not too long because it gets surprisingly boring very quickly. And expensive as all fuck.

My best friend and I are going, neither or us drink but we want to see a show or two.
Neither of us have been to vegas but don't get much time off work so two days/nights is all we can go but we don't want to waste our time or be rushed.

See the fountains once during the day and once at night (make the night display the last thing you see before going home). See a show. Go for one really nice meal.

Go up the Stratosphere, preferably at night but it does cost considerably more.

Explore one or two hotels during the day that appeal to you.

Bellagio light shows are overrated.

If it's your first trip it's about right. Any more than that can be overwhelming if you're not used to it. Soak it up for two days and the next time stretch it out to 3 or 4.

Enlighten us then. There is nothing in Las Vegas that isnt over rated, that is why the city exists. Its all a big tourist gimmick. There isnt some hidden underground culture to experience. Buying crack in North Las Vegas maybe? Some dingy cigarette smoke stained casino way off the strip somewhere? I love Vegas for what it is. You go there, see the resorts, gamble, party, drink, eat some good food.

2 nights is pretty good. Make sure to treat your self and stay somewhere nice, that is what it is all about. You dont want to slum it off the strip and have to walk or take taxis.

Lived there for a year, just stay in the city but if youre feeling adventurous you can crawl spring mtn road for tons of asian food.

I walked to Circus Circus once and it felt like I'd glitched through the floor in a video game. It was really eerie. The next day I walked from MGM to Freemont Street and there's a barren wasteland between the two that is completely dead.
