Hey posting from Philly cost of living is fairly cheap, and you can travel to new york within 2 hours on megabus, jersey beaches are alright during the summer, and the weather doesn't get too cold, and in the summer it doesn't get too hot.

The best beaches in the continental US are on the west coast of Florida (there are also not many Black people there because Black people can't swim), but it can be harder than other places to afford without living in a trailer park, especially the closer you live to the coast. I live there and beaches in general are overrated imho, especially if you are an indoor person or don't have a good bod to put on display for people.

Anyway, I recently did some research on weather at various amusement parks and similar places around the US and Canada (593 locations total). #1 overall was Austin, Texas; #2 was San Antonio, Texas; and #3 was Seguin, Texas (one of the smaller towns in between). I also have one town in Hawaii on the list (Lihue) and it is #4. So basically, the data is telling me Central Texas has better weather than Hawaii. Plus, for the past few years Austin has also appeared at or near the top of various Top 10 lists for "best cities for young professionals" blah, blah, blah. They also have an informal slogan called, "Keep Austin weird," which is kind of interesting.
