How many days do you recommend for Budapest? I might go and visit next week. A friend of mine went last year and he told me he got bored after a couple of days. It doesn't have any big interesting side trips as far as I can tell like Prague has for example. You guys think five full days are enough?

Day 1 - get there in the early morning, explore city by foot
Day 2 - museums
Day 3 - museums
Day 4 - chill in baths
Day 5 - day trip to Visegrad
Day 6 - take bus back home, if there's still stuff to see take a night bus

I reckon 3 days to see stuff and 1or 2 to chill/drink heavily are perfect for Budapest

I am from slovakia and I travel to Budapest a lot. Your program seems to be okay, I would also recommend to go to Esztergom and see the Basilica which is the second biggest cathedral in Europe after the one in Rome.

You have to be VERY careful with the taxi drivers and the subway ticket checkers. As soon as they found out you are not from hungary 70% of them will try to scam you.

I spent 7 days there and I barely managed to see it all.

PS. it's amazing

Hey /trv/

This coming spring break my roomate and I are going to spend a bit of time in Northern Morroco. I know it is a hugely popular destination among the people on this board and I was wondering what highlights I should check out. Also as far as safety goes, what are the odds of something happening to 2 girls in their 20s traveling without a male companion? I have always heard it was safe but my boyfriend has been repeatedly voicing his concern over this. Is there anything to actually worry about? Last question, just give it to me straight and try not to derail the thread with all the /pol/tier degeneracy talk. I intend to have a lot of -fun- there. I have always been curious about darker men and do not want to risk anything with my boyfriend by trying something at home because I do ACTUALLY love him. I say this because, it is after all, Africa. What are the odds of getting AIDS if they use a condom? What if they dont? Are STDs rare enough that I can let the guys I meet go bareback and just take birth control?

Any help is appreciated.

What do you do in a place like this? What cultural or unique experiences do they offer?

All I can think of is this

>Heading to Seoul by myself for a week in March.
>Afraid of being bored for half the trip.

I'm staying in a hostel and I'm pretty good at meeting people, but it is my first real international trip. I've invested in tinder plus and started matching in the area to hopefully discuss a meetup with someone who is familiar with the area.

What should I do? During the night I'll go out drinking/clubs and meals of course explore street food and all that. But besides that what does one do during the day? Walking around and looking at shops is nice but a week of that is maybe too much.

I would like to meet girls, but just general friends would be nice.

tl;dr going to Seoul first time. Speak no Korean. Want to have a good time. What do?

Why are so many Koreans adopted by Americans? Is Korea in fact a third world country or something?

Australia to California (48 hour layover in LAX) and then off to NY

Do I have any time to go from LAX to San diego and go hiking in that 48 hours?
8 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
That sounds fucking retarded.

You're going to have jet lag and want to spend time in traffic and go hiking. Go back another time and find a new flight with no layover. It is not worth it.
>>
>>1234218
i didn't ask ur opinion .. just want to know if it is possible .. i didn't think it was that big of a problem .. ill sleep at the airport and then take a bus to san diego go hiking eat food and take the bus back up before my flight
>>
>>1234219
Well it is doable but it's not worth it. You're going to have to take multiple busses trains etc. Public transit in socal is not good. Find a direct flight to where you are going, don't even bother.

>19 years old guy
>Canadian
>failed out of uni
>depressed

I have about 11500 Canadian dollars, a laptop, a high school diploma, a Canadian passport, if needed I can get a European passport, and a cell phone, also various other personal effects. I only speak English and a little bit of French. Within the next 6 months I would like to move anywhere that is not here (Canada/North America) and begin working, ideally somewhere in Asia, preferably China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, HK, but I realize those are a bit more difficult.

The only work experience I have is as a cashier for almost two years, at a drug store in which I am still working. I don't have any particular skills that I think I could make a career out of.

Which country can I find work in? In which countries could I get a visa/permanent residence? How would I go about finding work, and would I need to do this beforehand? I don't mind working as a bartender, cashier, office stuff, valet etc. If I have to I can work as a physical labourer but I'd prefer not to. I also don't mind living in a third world country.

I'm prepared to spend the rest of my life there, and I also don't mind being poor. Not slum poor, but a small apartment wouldn't be a dealbreaker. I don't give a fuck about touristy bullshit. Willing to learn the local language as well.

I am NOT a sexpat, I'm half Chinese, before anyone brings that up. I'd just rather be depressed somewhere in Asia than here. My dream is to have a shop and sell shit. Also, I want to live in a city.

I'm truly prepared to leave everything behind. If someone wants to come with and you're around my age (18,19, 20) leave some contact info and we can talk about it.

>I'm half Chinese

How chinese do you look exactly? If you look more Chinese, you might have a hard time getting hired in China to teach English, since they want white people (it's possible though). You also wouldn't have all the fun that people talk about here because you wouldn't be a "white god".
>>
Why is it always the hapas that have mental problems?
>>
>>1233946
It's not because I'm hapa, never experienced racism and there's plenty of Asians here. I'm not a self loathing Asian, neither is my Asian parent. Actually I could have just left the part about depression out but I don't want people telling me why this is a dumb idea.
>>1233944
I'm white enough but I don't really care about being a 'white god'. English teaching is a last resort for me.

London is huge. You'll find restaurants of all kinds and all budgets. If you're not a poorfag you can find some really nice ones.
>>
>>1233850
As >>1233858 said you can get pretty well any cuisine at most price ranges. For 'local" additions I would add Harrods for a cream tea also an 'indian' curry perhaps Veerswamys on Regent Street. My other goto sugestion for foreign visitors was Porters in Covent Garden who have sadly closed and moved to Berkhamstead. I have not tried the new place so don't have an opinion on whether it is worth the excursion.

I remember reading some article about 15 or 20 scientists who funneled out of the Soviet Union, most of them involved in Chernobyl, and started a commune on a Greek island. The place is littered with weird hippie-sci-fi-looking projects, and the scientists keep to themselves when they aren't saying they've found the key to immortality. They've said shit like, 'We will eradicate this generation, mortals are not needed.'

desu this is the place I want to see. I forget the name and can't fucking remember

Burger here, about to go to Europe for the first time in a couple weeks. How do I plug in my electronics when everything is 220v (or is it 240v)? Do I need one of these little step down transformers or something if I want to plug in my laptop without it exploding?

>>
>>1233361
Dude what? Of fucking course not, just get an outlet converter and you'll be fine
>>
>>1233361
Modern electronics can handle varying voltages by themselves. Electrical appliances, like hair dryers, other objects without a computer in them, etc, no. But computers, phones, tablets, etc--no problem.
>>
have a look on the plugs or device

most will say Input: 110-240V

so they take a range

some however will only be 100-110 and will blow up or pop a fuse if you use it in 240v
