1st time in Asia.
14 hour layover in Shanghai.
All recommendations considers.

>China Eastern
Good luck.
>>1242143
Get a Chinese visa (either a 72hour one or single entry one), Google some day itineraries of what you can do in Shanghai. I know there are websites that offer itineraries based on how long your layover is, such as http://www.nextstophongkong.com/stop-over/
Not sure if one exists for Shanghai tho
Gracias:)
Si me pueden ayudar, seria perfecto.

Hi, I have a doubt.
How do I know who they are?
I have had photos of him in my house for some time, for printing a roll of images that I thought were mine, but they turned out to be someone else's.
In one of these are unique images and I have them, I would like to return somehow.
Thank you:)
If you can help me, it would be perfect.

Did he kill that girl?
His smile is warm and friendly but his eyes are full of murder.
Hey /trv/, I'm an 18 y/o college student in the US. I'm planning on going abroad next fall semester, but I can't decide where I'd like to go. I have never been to Europe, but the idea of studying abroad really interests me and I think somewhere in Europe would be great so I could travel to other countries while abroad. I'm looking for somewhere with a lot to do and see, especially a place with a vibrant nightlife/party culture. I would appreciate any recommendations as to which cities would be fun for a young adult abroad, thank you!

Your university will have a list of institutions. Come back with more specific options not the entire fucking continent.
>>1240865
I'm not planning on traveling through my university. Plus I was just seeing if anyone had any recommendations of places that might've stuck out to them.
I had an amazing time in Paris. Look into that
Hello !
I'd like advise, opinions.
I'll travel during last week of june/1st of august for +- 1week. I still don't know where to go... I'd like to visit more estern europe/scandinavia since I only went in Poland/Finland for those regions (I liked those country).
I had Stockholm, Munich (maybe those 2 cities are too expensive), Belgrad or Kiev in mind.
So it will be my 1st trip alone, I prefer city with historic buildings/museum, cathedral to visit ... and where I can go to bars/club too since I won't have my parents for once.
If you want to party I recommend Prague or Budapest. They have a lot of historic buildings as well and are probably nicer than Beograd, cities like Bucarest, Sofia and Kiev I don't know too much about to really tell.
>>1245042
Belgrade really isn't too bad. The outskirts are dreary, but the centre really isn't bad at all and it's a very good and cheap party city. Also it doesn't have nearly as many British lads as Prague and Budapest, which is a huge plus.
>>1245042
Thanks for the suggestion !
Do I have enough to do for 1 week in the city or should I look around too ? And do they speak English ?
I'm trying to plan my next trip, and maybe that's silly, but my main objective is to have walks in the wood. I'm tired of European cities and I wanna see some damn nature.
What's the most incredible forest I could go visit (in august)? Which country is the best for trekking in the woods?
>>1244856
You trying to stay in Europe, or are yu willing to head a little further afield?
If the later, look into the Appalachian Trail, and touch bases in the Joyce Kilmer National Forest.
>>1244858
Sorry, what I meant is I'd like to go outside Europe. I'll still look into your recommendations, thanks.
The western US does not manicure its forests, and distances are long, but without doubt the best. California redwoods are worth seeing. Good boots? Tent? How many weeks?
>7.5 hour layover munich
>want to see St. Peter's cathedral
>going to be there on a Sunday
>landing at 800 leaving at 1530
Is this possible? I am a bit autistic about getting to airports early (to the point I have gotten there 5 hours early before) and my next flight is out of the EU and into America. But I just had a 6 hour layover there and I would really like to do something worthwhile on my way back. Cost of taxis and stuff is no issue as long as I can make my flight.
>what does /trv/ think?
>>1244625
If you're not worried about cost so much, contact a local airport shuttle/car service. Tell them your flight times and what your plan is. They'll be able to tell you whether they can get you there on time or not much better than 4chan can.
Do you want to go to a service in the cathedral, though? Or do a tour? You'll be there on Sunday morning and they may not open up to tourists until the afternoon.
>>1244632
That's kinda what I am worried about. I was mostly just wanting to walk around and snap a few pics. I was just planning on getting an Uber to get me there and back. Estimated fare is €55 one way, but I will be splitting the cost with my friend.
>>1244658
So visit the church website or contact them and ask.
Any recommendations on site seeing?
Eats?
Historical sites (Can't take the Ferry to Sumter)
Booze?
Planning on taking my family to see some stuff
I'm from Detroit and I'd love some ideas besides the websites that get payed to promote shitty restaurants and tourist traps like Plantations
>>1244433
depends on what all u like u stupid nigger
how long will u be there? Are you staying downtown?
eats: bertha's kitchen is the best soul food in town. cannot recommend it enough. dont let the outside or location scare you black.people in SC are actually pretty nice. Just don't go to North Charleston and about America St at night.
Poogan's porch, fleet landing, and oku are top tier. Shrimp n grits is a must. Sunday brunch is a must. I recommend Macintosh for their brunch.
Brown dog is the best deli in town. Honestly there's hardly a bad restaurant in charleston. Everything is just expensive as Christ.
To do: idk what u like. You're with family but most of the best stuff is outside Charleston. Mepkin Abbey, Beidler Forest Boardwalk, the Yorktown, Folly Beach (look up the washout in folly, best beach).
Booze: Tito's is plentiful. Get it. Buy as much as u can. it's the best vodka for it's price in the entire country probably the world. For bars it depends what crowd u like. I hate the yuppie/frat crowd which dominates the majority of bars. Recreation room is by far the best bar in Charleston but it's very divey. Usually always packed post 10 pm. Aside from that, i recommend upper deck and big gun, all three bars are on King st. Royal American is the best for music and good vibes. Sometimes has a cover if a band is playing tho. Moe's crosstown is also good.
If ur looking to cheat on the missus with some nasty college brats go to AC's or silver dollar. Prohibition and warehouse should be avoided because they are for numale faggots. If you have money to blow go to Thoroughbred. That's where the old money of Charleston drinks.
Also for cocktails I recommend pearlz and Victor social club.
>>1244433
also don't do the fucking horse drawn carriages that shit needs to end. some horse dies like once a summer and it's all everyone talks about for like a month plus they take up a whole fucking lane of traffic
>>1244606
Thanks, anon. Don't have a wife, but the though counts. Just the shithead son who wants to do something nice. My family is going down for a baptism because we haven't seen that branch of the family for decades.
I'll be down for 5 days, and the hotel is kinda downtown.
Hi guys
I need your advice , I plan to go abroad for working after my studies,
but I don't know if i should go to china or japan or even korea , which country is better for working in IT ?
pic unrelated
you should have posted a picture of a girls ass with a hand print on it
>>1244379
>IT
China - No, not unless you're Asian and don't mind being paid jack shit. Whites can only get white monkey jobs and english teaching unless a western company you're already employed by is sending you over as a branch manager or similar.
Japan - IT is seen as more of a blue collar/trades job and pays accordingly. Might be viable if your Japanese is excellent but YMMV.
Korea - Not sure.
Pic related, what countries like Ukraine, Russia,Belarus or other eastern European countries should i visit that as an american?
>>1244351
>Ukraine
+ Cool country with some good cities and nature
+ Cheap
+ No visa needed
- Language barrier
>Belarus
+ It's not Russia
- Everything
>Russia
+ Some cool cities and great nature
+ Cheap, sort of, if you don't go crazy
- Visa required
- It's Russia
>>1244354
>
I've been wanting to visit Ukraine for a while, but i never knew if any of the of the post Soviet countries were like.
>>1244359
I have been there twice now and it's generally good, but my girlfriend is from Ukraine so I have been lucky during my trips there and I have been able to live like a real Ukrainian (in commie blocs and village houses rather than hotels).
If you're a solo traveler, it would be really great if you could find some friends (girls) online and see if they could show you around their city, and maybe even travel around Ukraine with you. Look on Interpals.net or maybe Italki.com if that sounds good for you.
If you don't speak Russian or Ukrainian, the language barrier will be very large, so that would be especially useful.
Where's the best place to live in on a US time zone?
I'm being offered a remote developer job from a US company, and they're OK with me living wherever as long as I'm working on US hours (based on the east coast but +/- a few hours is fine). So basically anywhere in North/Central/South America would be good.
I speak very good Spanish (not quite fluent, but getting there) and have travelled through Mexico, Peru, Brazil, and Colombia, but have never really lived in those countries.
So I'm looking for somewhere that:
> Has fast and reliable internet connections.
> Fairly well developed, since I'll be busy working I care about convenience and want a nice western-quality apartment
> Has an abundance of good looking women that are reasonably easy for white foreigners
> Speaks Spanish or English, or has good/cheap lessons available for learning Portugese.
I'd obviously prefer cheap places, but I'll have a high salary by US standards, so it's not that important.
Stay far east coast. Somewhere where you can experience life but not be stuck in a city. The worst type of living in the U.S is living in suburbs, fucking grew up in them and hated every moment. I grew up in Ohio, it sucked. If you are going for suburbs, aim for a place not far from beach or city.
If I could live anywhere in the U.S it would probably be in North/South Carolina or somewhere in New York. Good luck anon.
>>1244342
Those requirements are met by quite a few cities, so it's more up to you to decide what you're looking for in a city. CDMX, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Medellin, everywhere in the US.
>>1244342
The US covers multiple time zones, not sure what you mean by this.
If you are talking within the US, I'd second NC or maybe the Pacific NW.
If you are looking outside the US, I'd consider Colombia.
Planning on taking a trip to Yellowstone in mid June.
Is it worth the extra trouble to book everything separately or go with a package deal? I am assuming the former but it's been such a pain in the ass due to the overwhelming amount of different parts of the park, lodging and vacation deals.
I have never been and do not even really know where to start on planning this. Should we go with a tour guide or do it on our own? It will be two adults and a two year old. Two year old will have no issues being on trails and outdoors (we already do that on a regular basis here).
Any tips or recommendations?
>>1244291
Where are you from OP?
You really don't need a guide to go there, it's a national park. Just drive in, camp and enjoy the hikes and scenery. Just make sure you get a permit for camping well ahead of time as in summer the slots avaliable fill quickly. (If camping is your goal)
If you want to stay in a hotel thereservation are numerous hotels just outside the park in the small towns near the main entrances. A package deal sounds like a good way to spend too much cash.
And don't do anything foolish, this is one of the few parks in the USA where the actual landscape around you can kill. If you see signs in geothermal areas telling you to stick to the path, STICK TO THE PATH.
>>1244301
I am from Houston, Texas.
Not camping, actually found an AirBnb house right outside the park for cheaper than most motels.
And thank you for the advice, we are pretty cautious (especially with the two year old) and not really looking for an "off the beaten path adventure". I think the preset trails and guides would be more than enough for us.
OP Here
So we are flying into Cody, WY and staying in Powell, WY.
Any recomendations on what to visit in or out of Yellowstone? Will be staying from Jun 14th to the 19th.
Blue dot is where we are staying
Im passing through Carson City, NV
America's worst city?
>>1244210
I'm not sure it's even Nevada's worst city. Ever been to Elko? Winnemucca?
>>1244218
battle mountain
>>1244218
Tonopah is pretty awful too. On top of everything else bad about that place, their hospital shut down this year because the doctor running the thing was embezzling from it at ridiculous levels.
It had been the only hospital for the 400 mile stretch between Vegas and Carson City. Says a lot about the true awfulness of Nevada.
Workaway thread!
How do you get money while being abroad for more than two months? Most of the hosts 'only' offer accomodation and meals. Did you save some money, work as a freelancer? I want to hear your stories!
I recently lost my job and now I'm free to go anywhere. I live in the EU, so it's easy to get a job anywhere in Europe. No shit like visa or work permit.
>>1244180
If you can get a job all over europe why would you pay money to be able to contact hosts of modern day slavery schemes?
>>1244182
I wouldn't call it slavery. You're free to go whenever you want, you only have to work for 2-4 hours per day and you get free accomodation and meals, which are more expensive than a paid worker.
>>1244182
Well, I don't want to work in the field I'm qualified for anymore. It's easy to work here because I don't need a visa, I didn't mean that it's easy to find a regular job. But that's not what I'm looking for anyways.
I want to see Russia on November 7th for their 100th anniversary, but it sounds nearly impossible to go without a Letter of Invitation. Is there a place that does day tours of Moscow and Red Square that issues LOIs, which I could book for cheap on the 6th? That way I could see the flag waving the next morning.
Thanks!
>>1244063
I've always used realrussia dot co dot uk. Pay £15, get LOI in your inbox seconds later, no strings attached. No strings attached, book the rest locally if need be.
I used HotelsPro, similar deal, $16. Pick the cities u will visit, give a generic famous hotel in city.
Just because u specify that hotel doesnt mean u have to stay there, its effectively just a place holder.
What country are u from?
All you're going to get is "I'm white and I can whitessure you, it's fine you'll be fine racism isn't real"
You should try an actual travel website for a question like this
>>1244001
Just fuck off with your leftist bullshit already.
>>1244013
Case in point.
