Is the BS Kylo Ren w/ Star Killer base meant to have texturing on the shawl? Because when I looked him up online it seemed like it was meant to be smooth but the one that I recently ordered has a lot of heavy texturing on it.

I've found that some Walgreens get partial cases, so if you find two figures at one location, the next nearest Walgreens probably has two different figures. I also noticed that my nearest one seems to get the primo figures. I found Cody, IG88, Troopers, while others had the peg warmers. So it may have to do with how good the sell through is at each locale.

It is a little blurry, this is pretty common with printing method used for these faces, since they transition color a lot more on the smaller surface rather than using hard dividing lines and lots of flat continuous color. It doesn't look nearly that blurry in person.

Thanks, it looks.. pretty damn good actually. At first glance there are some noticable differences in the helmet + size of the breastplate, and just the overall look of the plastic in general. The details are a little less defined on the KO, but not by too much. I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference without comparing them side by side.

Retail fag here. Something has come to my attention lately that has really pissed me off. So I'm going to share my story with you because I have no other place to vent.

You will never own these figures without paying huge scalper prices. Here's why.

Now that the movie is over and done with the retail buyers have cut their orders for Star Wars figures by 90%. Don't believe me? Look at how things were before the new movie merch hit shelves in September.

Making matters worse is that these figures each come 2 per case, in a case that has 6 other carry over figures, including the worst shelf hanger of the bunch, the resistance trooper.

Disney has also just sent out a press release talking about the "unprecedented demand" for Rey merchandise. This is a rouse. They're going to deliberately short pack her figures, as they have done in all previous waves, to make it seem like her figures are in very high demand.

These three figures DO NOT show up in any refresher waves after this case. Instead they are replaced by more carry over figures and a few new characters like Finn in the Stormtrooper outfit, Ackbar and Nien Numb.

So prepare to pay out the ass for these figures. Otherwise you're never going to own them.

It seems like the only sensible thing to do is to give up on American Star Wars toys all together.

One of the last guys I got in the vintage series before it all crapped out and went to 5poa.

Poseable as hell, loads of joints, alternate harness/helmet for completely different armor look, guns actually removable from harness (and fit well in both), removable helmets that don't look too big when worn. Ten bucks new.

Like IG-88, I wonder why the black series 6" isn't nearly as detailed, well articulated, or comes with half the accessories as this version.

I need to append this, because as odd as it is, and even though it is a pretty bad figure overall, I've grown pretty found of the Poe Dameron that came in the two pack with the Riot Trooper.

No idea why, but I find the fig pretty neat out of all my black series, though probably still a bit shy of being as good as Revo Boba.

My local tru and Walmart haven't changed stock in their star wars or marvel toys. Without spending a few hundred on Finn and Kraven the hunter, what's the best way to make the store put out new stuff?
