Wouldn't it be logical to assume that Combiner/Titan specs are different tiers from the regular spec cards? Like an 8 in Combiner strength would still be stronger than an 8 on a regular bot. Simple way could be Stat x # of bots in the combiner, but things like Rank obviously wouldn't be counted for that. Also "personality" traits like Courage and Intelligence since those are more reliant on the bots forming the Combiner.

CW is a pretty good line, honestly. The gestalts are all at least B+ in terms of feel and quality. The only weak point is Menasor, and he's still pretty good overall, he just has more issues than the rest. Certainly better than buying a 3P figure for 3x the price.

Superion and Bruticus are the strongest of the lot in terms of looks and solidness so far. Onslaught fixed all the issues Hotspot had (crane in the way of his legs, the molding issue with the right leg's tab not locking securely). Things like Last Stand of the Wreckers looking at Megatron's relationship with his men and questioning the Autobots' morality, Fort Max having to deal with PTSD, Rodimus's personal inadequacies...

Even RiD gets pretty excellent, since a lot of it has to do with the politics of a post-war society. It shows sides of characters you don't really see, and later, when they start fighting Galv, it changes up the dynamics of the old Autobot/Decepticon conflict in interesting ways.

It's easy to make just another story about Heroic Autobots fighting Evil Decepticons, but questioning what would actually happen when one of them won makes for much better science fiction.

CW Bruticus has issues

In the instructed configuration, Blast Off as an arm has a very limited range of articulation, due to the way his robot mode shoulders conflict with Onslaught's.

-He has a tendency to lean forward. From what I hear this is an issue with Defensor too.

-Sad eyes, like sad puppydog eyes

-When Vortex is an arm, his instructed configuration for locking down the arms hurts the elbow articulation. You can turn them upward, but they won't lock down anymore

-Onslaught's back cannons are sad and pathetic

On a completely spearate note and to try and change the subject, what's the last TF purchase anyone had that just made you happy?

I picked up DotM Spacecase(based on HftD Terradive mold). I've never actually had one of these molds before, and I absolutely love it. A great transformation, amazing bot mode, and that fucking gorgeous SU-47 alt mode.

I'm tempted to track down all the other versions of the molds.

I just got in MP Road Rage. While the mold isn't quite on par with some of the Hasui-made ones, it's still a really cool toy and I'm always happy to add to my Diaclone shelf. I hope a Crosscut isn't too far off.

I got that Terradive mold due to dumb. I went to Downtown Disney, and I had nothing to buy, so I got him so it didn't feel like I wasted my time going. He is fantastic, and it's a damn shame his trident will eventually break.

Yeah, My defensor is stuck in a permanent "leaning forward to look at some shit on the ground" pose because thats just where the ratchets in his hips line up. Kind of a fucking awful position to have those in.

Did somebody look at the prototype leaning forward all the time and go "Yes, this is how it should be."?
