Just wait for the OT X-Wing rerelase. Comes with Baby Poe and BB-8's Motherboard.

Reposting the leaks

No anon, nobody knows what it's supposed to be either.
>>5396797
2/4
Is the kids familiar to anybody?
>>5396801

This one is based on Vader's confrontation of the fledgling Rebel Alliance in the season 2 opener of SW: Rebels.
>>5396803
4/4
And here's some another Revenge of the Sith set I guess.
>>5396807
That Superman is also in the Lex Luthor mech set.
Thanks, OP. Now we have three Lego Generals, not counting the one waiting to fall off. Check the catalog next time.
RIP DAVID BOWIE.
FUCK THIS GAY EARTH.
>>5396823
There are available pieces to replicate the look, though. So while we wait for the green version of that roof, we should still be fine.
>>5396849
Could you alternatively use two green wedge roof pieces like this one with a 4x4 plate under them for support?

>>5396803
They finally managed to get those little winglets slanted on the A-wing?
Bricklink is sucking my fucking soul dry I swear to god.
I keep forgetting parts in orders and every time I have to order the parts I forgot I add on some more. Fuuuuuuck.
>>5396885
Looks like a new piece
>>5396797
when are these sets going to be revealed officially?
>>5396898
I don't know about super-clean product images, but they should all be present (and publicly viewable) at the New York Toy Fair next month.
In the mean time, wait for more leaked photos when the Nuremburg Toy Fair hits later this month.
>>5396909
More importantly, when are they going to be released?
>>5396912
For sure they'll be out in the second half of the year, ie. around June-August.
We won't have any more concrete dates until the aforementioned Toy Fairs.
>>5396808
>scout trooper
>looks like that new account helmet mold
>we will never have the original again
Why live
Reposting my new display case in the new thread, got it today for really cheap and I like the way it turned out.
>>5396926
I wish I still had my original boba, got him in the old 2003 set of pic related.
>>5396933
>tfw all I have left of him are the legs and the helmet-backpack
At least I'll get a new one with my Slave one from 2006 or 2007.
Man I'm bad at waiting for Bricklink orders.
>>5396926
Huh. I've never actually seen a collection of Iron Man minifigs that didn't have knockoffs before.
You getting the suits in the new wave, anon?
>>5396926
That would look awesome in one of the ikea light boxes
>>5396933
Yeah, I got this guy in Cloud City like a billion years ago, and I also have the old, unprinted one, but he's not really worthy of a case when I've got his printed cousin.
>>5396942
Yeah, and I'm gonna try to figure out the best way to get the Silver Centurion one from Gamestop as well.
I kind of want to wait for prices to die down a bit, though, BrickLink is going nuts with the new figs. I hate the sets they're in but absolutely want the variants that aren't another red-and-gold suit.
>>5396946
Once I get out of grad school and have a room bigger than a closet I'm probably going to go for a Detolf cabinet and some other Ikea stuff, yeah.
>>5396959
>I hate the sets they're in but absolutely want the variants that aren't another red-and-gold suit.
Why not buy the sets and make the money back by selling the non-Tony figs?
You can always just add the sets' pieces to your inventory.
>>5396962
I've considered it, but I'm not sure how much I could make back by selling the other figs, especially since I also want Captain Marvel.
That being said, it probably would end up costing the same amount as getting the figs themselves, and I would get more parts. I'll have to look into it.
That and there's a TFA Falcon for $100 NIB on Craigslist locally that I can't decide if I want to take a pass at.
>>5396803
Damn this set has that nostalgic feel for me.
Might get it when it goes out.
How much would the 3PO polybag be worth there is one for five dollars 2 hours away from me and I am considering asking about postage.
>>5396967
If you end up deciding to get the Falcon too, I suggest taking that offer up before grabbing the Marvel sets. Those will be on shelves for some time, while the Falcon's gonna be eaten up pretty soon with the lingering TFA hype.
>>5396990
The only reason I hesitate is because back home I have the Falcon from 2004, and I don't know if having two of the same model (albeit a way newer, way better one) would serve much purpose
I need Han and Rey figs, but already have Finn and two BB-8's (gotta sell one of those, they go for like $15 on BL)
>>5396990
I'm fucking considering getting another one because I dropped my first one and by now all the loose bricks have scattered to the four corners of the universe, and one of the corner plates was bent.
>>5396982
I've already decided I'm going to buy both the TIE Advanced and the new Turbo Tank even if I have to sell a kidney to afford it.
And the new X-wing in non-retarded colours.
>>5396993
If you only have the 04 falcon the new one is well worth it as it comes with the new chewbaca and old Han and it is very unlikely that they will release another set with old Han
>>5396995
See if you can buy a 7965 secondhand instead. You end up with a lot of similar pieces to work with, and you also get the ANH crew.
Plus they have to be selling for cheaper than a MIB Force Awakens Falcon, right?
>>5397003
Looks about as expensive on Bricklink, but I still might.
What's up my fellow autists. I got a question for you I got bored and made the endurance from interstellar and I kind of want to make it IRL but the outside rectangles are hollow and I am wondering if it would be better to fill them in. Pic related the build itself in that LDD rendering program.
>>5396990
>tfw the crew quarters in the set does not have a mini galley that was a wedding gift for leia.
Why live
>>5396801
Someone said in the last thread that it's from Aftermath.
I haven't read it, I hear it's shit, but I remember reading somewhere that there was a kid who rebuilt a battle droid in it. There appears to be a kid and a battle droid.
Has anybody read the book? Can you confirm wheather or not there's a kid and a battle droid and a ship called "Hammerhead"?
>>5397030
I have not read it, but I know that there is a Battle Droid with Grievous "mind" in aftermath
>>5397031
Okay seeing that has made me decide not to read aftermath.
>>5397021
Just think about the structural integrity and whether or not they need to be filled in.
>>5396803
>fledgling rebels
>A-wing
>>5397039
What's the problem? The A-Wing belonged to Bail Organa's group of rebels, not to the main six cast members.
>>5397045
>What's the problem? The A-Wing belonged to Bail Organa's group of rebels, not to the main six cast members.
All good nerds know the A-Wing wasn't introduced until after the Battle of Yavin
>>5397048 Sorry to brake it to you buddy but rebels went and did a little retcon on that fact.
>>5397048
Those look like the proto A-wings that appeared in some comic way back when.
>>5397037
Well here it is next to a minifig so I think I will just fill them up in case then again that could make everything a bit heavier.
>>5397053
How the heck can those hinges support that much lego anyway?
>>5397054
It's not just 4 hinges on the edges it is 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom and on the top plus I Plan to make a display stand that could most likely support it.
Avast, legogen!
>>5396923

>>5397055

>>5397059
Two Raid Zeppelins?
>>5397066
Considering it mainly because it would not be that exspensive considering it only consists of White, Gray and black.
>>5397021
If you built it at minifig scale, why is there so little detailing on the individual pods, and whether hollow or not, I think you need a much sturdier connection at those joints.
>>5397030
When searching for Hammerhead I only saw Old Republic starships mentioned which look nothing like the set, it´s probably like some anon told last thread a Yoda Chronicles type model with no basis in anything.
>>5397032
There is so much worse stuff in that book and I only know it through /tv/ memesters. Star Wars is officially a YA franchise for teenaged girls now like Hunger Games and Maze Runner.
>>5397059
Are the pirate Ninjago sets out already?
>>5396785
This looks really comfy.
>>5397081
I went off of memory really and seeing a picture of the actual thing I may improve the design but the pods them self look very minimalist but a different shape then mine.
>>5397083
>Are the pirate Ninjago sets out already?
Yurop
>tfw always regret not buying the 2015 pirates
>still every time I see a Pirate set in a toy store I go "but I could get some more star wars sets..."
>>5397086
>But we don't get nexo knights for another monthish.
That's a painful tradeoff, as nice as the Ninjago Pirates stuff is. Hopefully the NEXO Knights stuff isn't overhyped for you guys.
>all the force awakens figures are selling for nearly 15 dollars some even 25
Fucking aye might resort to the chinks at this rate.
>>5397093
Which ones are the most expensive? My jew sense is tingling.
>>5397099
The new kylo ren and BB-8
>>5397093
The fuck are you even talking about? Is that ebay and amazon prices? I just looked at bricklink and Phasma and both Kylo Rens are ~$20, Han Solo and Maz Kanata are ~$12, and everyone else is below $10.
>>5397088
Star Wars will always be around and get remakes of most sets. Most of my Lego purchases revolve around what's going to be available vs what won't later.
>>5397104
I am talking dollary doos m8.
>>5397107
$25 in AUS is $17 US, so that's actually even less.
>>5397032
>"The TIE wibbles and wobbles through the air, careening drunkenly across the Myrran rooftops - it zigzags herkily-jerkily out of sight."
That's an actual line in the book...
>>5397105
My purchases revolve around what I'd like to see on my shelf of interesting items 20 years from now vs. what I'd rather just deconstruct and put to my pieces bin. That said, buying the Z-95 Headhunter is probably one of my biggest Lego regrets, especially since I lost the four-armed guy. That and the Quinjet city chase. And the Droid gunship. Most of my CIS stuff actually, except the Vulture Droid.
Honestly I just think the sets they made revolving around pirates when I was still a sperm or from around when I was born and raised were so much better than this current lot.
>>5397110
Oh THAT book.
>>5397110
That's a real fucking shame because I have read all the other new "cannon" books and comics and those have been good I especially like the grand moff tarkin one.
>>5397112

And I don't think old pirates are that expensive on BL

$5 is good. I've seen some go for $10.
Can't you drive over there?
Also I saw an AT-AT at TRU. Really considering it. And this Polybag is cooomfeeee.

>>5397210
YA is about making a world for characters, Star Wars and other sci-fi was about characters making a world. And they didn´t use "wibbely wobbely herkily jerkily" for prose.
>>5397048
The Droids cartoon still had A-Wings and B-Wings before ANH, it´s not like they cared before.
At least the B-Wing is a special prototype with a dedicated episode in Rebels.
>>5397214

The fuck shitty car do you have?
What do you guys think about those Creator building sets? Not the modular ones, but the small ones. I saw the corner building and the lakeside lodge and now I'm considering buying a few.

The little corner sandwich shop looks really cool.

Can anyone read what the mini figs in the new x wing set. Obviously bb-8 and a flame trooper but who else
>>5397306
Wow beautiful.
Honestly I have enough fucking cars, I want more play sets. I agree with the anon in previous threads mentioning this.
That's why I feel like Friends > City sets.
Friends would be 10/10 if it didn't rely on white, pink, dark pink, baby blue as 95% of all their pieces.
>>5397310
Probably Poe and that old guy he is talking to at the beginning of the movie.
>>5397253
Why would they raise the price if it contains the same amount of stuff?
>x-wing
>poe minifig
>two other minifigs
>bb-8
>small companion build
>>5397288
Yeah, but I was talking about the boxed sets they sell.
>>5397253
Yeah, they probably are. It really sucks because it looks like it's a Flametrooper and I don't need another one of those.
I already have Poe's. Hopefully the price of the new one isn't too bad because I need it
>>5397214
Great can't wait. Part of the fun of large mocs are those oh shit moments when it doesn't work irl as it did in LDD. ThiS moments really test your metal.
I get that they know not everyone is going to be all the sets of any given line... But now I have all these.
If you could clone yourself exactly as you are now and you found yourself attractive, would that make you gay or just put you on the cutting edge of masturbation technology?

I seriously hope /mu/ is not behind this too.
so uh, new guy here.
I am very much hankering for trying to build some sort of mecha thing from just ...whatever parts I have, but I am running into issues with getting feet to work. is there any place that has some guides for ...well, basic, functioning mech looking legs you could build easily? ...or hell, even instructions on a good mech to build?
>>5397426
Do you have some spare change? Everyone and their mother recommends getting a few Mixels sets to give you some much-needed ball-joint pieces. They give creature and mech builds a good range of motion.
They also have a bunch of simple techniques in making stable feet.
>>5397426
Do you have ratcheting joints?
>>5397437
>>5397426
Here's a demonstration of their range.

I'm in Australia, Nexo hasn't been up on the site all that long and literally nothing, not even the new City stuff has hit physical stores here yet.

Also is pic related boncle or lego?
Just built it and it was pretty fun. The upper body is looser than I wished but the lower body is solid.
Will Def pick up Kylo and Grevious.
The cape is too small for my taste. Wish it had a full wrap, so maybe I'll get some fabric and make a custom.
It's also freaking huge. About half an inch taller than the box it comes in. Also it has a federation Droid torso piece in its build.

>I'm talking about a large store that sells everything from electronics to games to toys to clothes to food to snacks etc. under one brand. Isn't that what Walmart and Target are?
In the US, those are called "department stores". Large department stores often have their own self-contained supermarkets within the larger store, but "supermarket" just means large grocery store.

How many powers do you think they're never going to come out with physical shields for?
Alright /lg/. It's been some time since the release of your favorite Star Wars set. Lego has decided to release a new one, and they wanna mix it up a little.
In what ways could they improve that set? Which minifigs will they include this time?
>>5397578
Make an accurate canopy piece. All of the cockpit pieces they use aren't right in some way or another but they kind of look like any of them. 1 fancy mold/print for each ship wont hurt too bad especially since they always release the same ships repeatedly.
>>5397578
TIE Crawler doesn't need improving
>>5397577
I'm certain that any non-toy scannable powers will never have physical tile versions, simply because they don't want a child disappointed to find that the brand new set has a shield he's already scanned multiple times over.
Despite this I still hope they print out physical versions of the shields the Nexo Knights are shown always having in promotional material. Their family symbols are neat and those specific shields seem to be the only ones that have them.
>>5397577
I'd think most will have a physical Lego bit to scan. The silly or overpowered ones will possibly get the tv or magazine only. I recall seeing a picture of the classic space logo in the app. That will not be getting a real shield.
>>5397584
>implying they shouldn't make it in gray and black

>considered stealing
>considered panhandling
>considered selling pieces of my other hobbies for ANY amount of cash, no matter how jewed I get
Is this what drug addicts feel? I think I seriously need help.
>>5397578
Since you brought it up, how about a new Snowspeeder design that isn't 12 years old?
I would like to see a new TIE Bomber or Interceptor. I love what they did with the fighter (9492) and they could do it again.
>>5397583
This. Using one canopy piece for three ships was acceptable in 1999, but Lego's standards have been raised since then. I should think we could absorb the cost of two new parts (assuming the new TFA X-wing canopy will be used for the next X years).
>>5397578
I would like a Y-wing that has both a good looking cockpit and a good looking rear section. I would like a new TIE Bomber. Just completely modernized. I actually have most of my favorite Star Wars sets already and can't think of any way to improve them. The latest Shuttle Tydirium was perfection in lego, I love the AT-AT (though it could use a better interior), The Star Destroyer is great as well. All I could wish for is a new Tantive IV.

>>5397602
Anon, I honestly do think you need help. Nexo Knights only started being sold two weeks ago. It's only been public knowledge for three months.
Don't worry about running out of sets to buy. It's LEGO, stores will restock. It's January, there's still stock to come. You don't need to get them all right away, when you're low on funds.
Save up first. Avoid purchasing anything hobby-related for a month or two. You need some time to consider what you really want, anon.
>>5397613
Don't watch it, then. It's non-canon.
>>5397615
I recently got the Y-wing from 2007 for 50 euros, and I based my decision on the back section. That just looks ugly to me. Using stickers for the engines? What the fuck? Why does the droid sit in a dip on the ship? It just looks way too ugly for me, even though the front looks better than the 2007 version and the figures are better.

Well, the only plausible thing I could think of is to actually sell some of my stuff. I mean, I do have some shits that need getting rid of, like comics and other old toys, like the NECA Team Fortress 2 line and some other stuff.
I could get another job on my days off, but my work schedule so erratic that I'll just fuck up the new job's scheduling system.
>>5397619
I'm going to see if I can get out of comics for the time being. Fucking Canadian exchange rates make $3.00 comic books fucking $5 after tax, instead of $3.50.
>>5397644
Thanks dude, Still some shields dont want to scan yet :S
>>5397644
Yeah, one in 2012. Came with Ananas and Ahsoka. It looks pretty cool actually. TOO BAD I DESTROYED MINE
>>5397644
Indeed they have.

>>5397647
Get a job hippie!
>>5397653
Destroyed as in parting it out to your Lego bin?
>>539764
Yep
>>5397653
>Came with pineapple
You did it again, autocorrect.
>>5397658
Destroyed as in most of it's still together, but parts of it have fallen off and I'm not 100% if it's still completely in my Lego bin. Both of the engines and most of the main hull are gone, although I've seen most of the big round pieces in my tub.
>>5397654
This looks pretty cool desu
>>5397654
I never noticed before that the canopy was yellow.
>>5397661
>implying Ananas Skywalker isn't going to bring balance to the force
>>5397615
y-wings not appearing in episode 7 was retarded.
>>5397654
Why did it come with Snips and Flyguy? I thought the Twilight was their main ship.
>>5397675
They use a lot of ships during the show, including Y-Wings.
>>5397674
They only built new Xwings as the new ones are supposed to be modular with their payload. They can swap round whats in the nosecone so they can essentially carry payloads that Y wings can.
>>5397586
>they don't want a child disappointed to find that the brand new set has a shield he's already scanned multiple times over.
I could have figured this out by just looking at the damn boxes, but I didn't care- I was going to buy them all anyway. Now that I have them all, I see that several sets have duplicate shields. I was mad when I first realized it.
>>5397675
Yes, but that was destroyed later on IIRC, plus the new Y-wing was used only briefly by Anakin and Ahsoka, and more heavily by regular clone pilots.
More pragmatically, Lucasfilm wanted to sell new toys.
>>5397674
>old Clone Wars ships
>already breaking down by the Galactic Civil War
>should've been in Episode VII
Seriously?
>>5397680
Was there a specific episode or set of episodes where their Y-Wing use was notable, though? A mass-produced version of ship should have a bunch of clones, not the main guys.
>>5397662
>keeping your lego bricks in a big tub
>together
you fucking manchild
>>5397692
Same reason they included Princess Leia's ceremonial outfit with the other Y-Wing. Named characters drive sales better than generic characters.
>>5397692
If it was used even once by the main characters, that's more than enough reason for them to be included in the set.
Was someone able to scan those powers that are shown in help video in app?
>>5397695
Actually, I keep most of my lego stuff built as they are out of the box, while all of my childhood lego is still in one big tub and one smaller box. I just had a crisis of space and had to sacrifice a few sets.
Today is a good day. I just got 16 of these Rebel troopers from Bricklink, and the guy that said he'd send me two gold lightsaber hilts actually did and they're here too. Thanks man, you're awesome! My Jedi will look so awesome when I make her.
>>5397776
*Tips fedora
>>5397654
Was the canopy a sticker or a print?
>>5397803
I don't have it myself to confirm.

Thanks now I can't wait to get home...
Not sure if I should leave the skirt on or not. Wat do?
>>5397880
Take it off and see if you like that more.
>it looks better now
Then put the skirt away into your minifig parts bin.
>i dont like it as much
Then put the skirt back on.
>>5397880
I want that fig the skirt looks cool imo
Anyone still have their Original Grevious?
Mine's got some playwear, but he still looks as good as ever.
>>5397230
I got Lavaria this weekend. Along with Macy and Clay. Had Aaron from last wek.
Lavaria is easily my favorite. Aaron second. I should go back and get Beast master.
But I think I'm going to get Merlok's Library or Lance's Mecha Horse next.
>>5397909
All the white droid arms clips snapped. I only have 1 intact one left and I barely used them.
>>5397909
I have him in pieces in my minifigure bin
cape, too
>>5397684
>but it's an all purpose fighter now
that's just bullshit to excuse the new director's shit ability to world build and/or their over concern about what the average moviegoer thinks star wars is
>>5397928
It's weird how so many people think anyone gives a shit what they think of the new Star Wars movie.
Protip: nobody cares.
>>5397928
The old X-wing was all purpose in the other films there was just a limited number so they used Y-wings to bolster their ranks as they had a bunch of the shitpieces lying about.
>>5397928
>I don't like when things change so it is objectively bad
Any other personal opinions you want to share while you are here.
>>5397939
they weren't bombers, though, and they didn't fill the 'fast interceptor' role of the A wings either
Speaking of star wars vehicles that need some love and attention...
>>5397945
>defending having only two combat ship designs
>being a smarmy bitch about it
>>5397948
Here let this photo of the rouge one X-wing distract you.
>>5397948
No they didn't i agree with you they were somewhere inbetween, what's the phrase used for that?
OH YEAH IT'S ALL PURPOSE FIGHTER.
>>5397954
>it's just Poe Damerons fighter with the wings swapped out
I get it saves them money but come on.
>>5397960
What do you mean?
>>5397966
It looks like they stripped the prop of Poe's fighter from the start of the force awakens and slapped different wings on it.
>>5397960
Not even close
>>5397957
Yeah, just like how the US scrapped all their other planes once they built the first all-purpose fighter since all other aircraft became useless!
Also, the term is actually 'multirole aircraft.'
>>5397960
>>5397971
It's very much a different prop, anon.
>>5396926
I have exactly the same display case, anon, but didn't decide yet how to organize figs in it.
I would put the figs plates on a bigger one like pic related, would be more stable.

>>5398035
Well, this made me realize I really fucking hate building bionicles.
It's poseability is amazing, though some poses show the skeleton of the legs and arms. I'm happy with it.
>>5397482
Bullshit anon. City, ninjago and some of the new star wars wave have dropped.
>>5398046
Bionicle sets or just Technic sets? The most notable part of the Vader set is that unlike most action figure builds, his torso is made up entirely of regular Technic bits.
Hoers
>>5397448
Seen this one?
>>5398075
What is that anyway? Beans Tornado?
>>5398072
Well that's cool.
I've barely done any Lego in the last decade, but I'm currently intent on designing my very first moc using LDD with the intent of ordering the parts and creating it in real life.
Is there any hints & tips you guys could give me from experience, that would save me a whole load of trouble or anything like that?
>>5398082
Wind breaker
>>5397507
Do it.
>>5397951
This. With Bespin pilot, guard and Lando would be an insta-buy x2.
>>5398072
Hot.
>>5398092
I too would like to know about this, I'm working on my first LDD build as well.
Although I might just build that Pirate island that came with the square blue baseplate that has an island printed in the middle, because I have that baseplate but none of the parts.
>>5398095
Unfortunately I don't own that Creator set.
So Tesco did a big Star Wars weekend here about a month ago. My girlfriend's mum works there and they found a load of leftovers from the free Lego giveaway. There's enough to build a load of tiny Millenium Falcons and X-Wings.
>>5398085
>>5398095
Thanks!
>>5398102
Have mercy on the man, get him a wheelbarrow!
>>5398092
Even though LDD displays it, there are some colors on some parts that don't actually exist. Always check Bricklink or similar whenever you're unsure so you don't end up with a finished moc you have to redesign because you found out a crucial part only comes in every color except the one you want.
>>5396794
So... When do we get a CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE NEW X-WING PICTURE general?
>>5397542
still, fuck you for beinging up irrelevant shit
>>5398126
when you learn some patience and not give as much as an afol fuck
>>5397059
That looks amazing, anon!
>>5398144
That's because their new stuff always looks retarded. Like that smaller ship? It's just Batman's Batwing from this year. I don't personally complain when they release sets though. I love it because I still don't have all of the Star Wars vehicles I want. Only when they make them worse than the original models they intend to replace.
>>5397059
can't unsee.
>>5398150
I've enjoyed their previous ventures into original Star Wars ships.
>>5398158
I regret buying that so much. So, so much. I could have bought the monster hunters series train but noo, star wars is better.
Jek's starfighter was okay but that was only because it was an E-wing.
>>5398102
kinda looks like stephen king in creepshow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN0ucCc8TfA
How should i feel about this.
>>5398177
I feel like I'm going to buy it because A) I need a Batman figure and B) I want to fuck Harley Quinn
>>5398168
What's wrong with it? It's a solid ship, fits the Star Wars image well. The only possible flaw is that it's not based on an existing ship. And people here are complaining about all the existing ships being over produced.
>>5398182
so youuz sayin
>>5398126
Well here is a rather good photo of it.
>>5398177
Those bikes look fucking stupid. Good thing wet roads don't exist in Lego world.
>>5398177
Good for getting some of these maybe
>>5398102
Can't stop laughing. Never sae that brillant face, in what Set can i get it?
>>5398186
Mostly because I'm the kind of faggot who doesn't like Yoda Chronicles. To but it like it is, it's something George Lucas himself could have done.
That's not a compliment.
The only part I like about that ship is the minifigures. But you don't have anything for the protocol droid to do, all the transparent yellow on the guns look stupid, the arrangement of guns doesn't make sense, the turret doesn't fit and I don't know, my brain is just telling me it looks wrong.
>>5398177
>Robot Deadshot
Why?
i got #76044
also my first batman and superman minifigs
have all superman capes been this soft?
>>5398072
That's pretty amazing.
>>5398207
Just all scince 2015. Everything before was the usual Cape in red.
>>5398207
Not until 2014 or so. Before that, all his capes were the same stiff ones they've previously used for everyone else.
>>5397339
That onl;y shows Nexo figs will be not good sellers as ninjago as they appear in many sets.
For example we get Ultimate Axl and Axl in his Tower-tank thingy. SO we get three Axl, one is cheap.
>>5398207
>red boots superman only in the most expensive set
fuck you lego
>>5398218
>liking man of murder
>>5396797
>>5396801
They'll fucking release stupid obscure shit like these ships but they god damn refuse to touch anything from episode 2. Thanks TLG.
WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE?
>>5398203
>Transparent yellow guns
Wat
I agree with you on the turret, though.
>>5398269
Megabloks!
>>5398233
It's not so much "obscure" as "not out yet." By your definition, the Bounty Hunter Pursuit was obscure when it came out before the film.
>>5398275
Obscure as in "Where the fuck did this ship get mentioned?"
>>5398269
>>5398278
/We will see/. It's not out yet.
>>5398273
>>5398279
HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT'S REVAN
the real question is now, do I open it?
I just found out that the bow spike fits perfectly through the Brick Bounty's gunports, if you remove the small piece in the bottom.
It's time for a naval battle diorama, is it not?
>>5398233
>Not enjoying the multicolor monstrosity
>>5398284
>the real question is now, do I open it?
Are you a scalper? Because if you're not a scalper, OF COURSE you open it.
>>5398284
>HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT'S REVAN
>the real question is now, do I open it?
are you literally retarded
OPEN IT
>>5398290
Then open it I shall. I fucking hate scalpers too desu.
>>5398284
How much did you pay for that?
And yes open it.
>>5398186
what
why is there a clone trooper with a lightsaber
and it has a transparent blue arm?
>>5398295
It would have been $30~USD, but I'm in Canada so I paid $50 for the fucker, figured I would now because the thing is only going to become more rare and our currency is only going down.
Someone posted yesterday a transforming buggy.
I tried this LDD version.
Even the cannons can pull in.
>>5398095
Is... is that a Lego Sybian?
In the immortal words of Pan, "Holy shitsnacks!!"
>>5398299
That's Jek-14. I know nothing about the Yoda Chronicles, so here's what I can glean from Wookieepedia:
TYC was a non-canon series produced entirely by Lego and run on Cartoon Network and later Disney XD. Lucasfilm gave them free rein, with very few restrictions. Jek-14 was a Force-sensitive clone developed by the Sith as the first of a potential army of "Sith clone trropers" who later turned to the light side of the Force.
>>5398299
Watch The Yoda Chronicles to find out!
>>5398316
>yfw it would reach all the way up her torso
>>5398301
>>5398215
This
It sadly the same as chima.
I wished since they had generic knights, they would pack one version in a set and one in an ultimate for every knight.
>>5397424
>>5398325
Sh-shut up.
>>5398329
Ninjago is the same and it's still alive.
>>5398324
>>5398344
I'm just saying... At that point I would have made a copy of the print design and paid a brick printing service to make me a bootleg.
>>5398349
Well I also went ahead and bought a bootleg from China, I'm still waiting to receive that one though.
>>5398269

>>5398284
Why would you not open Legos
Are you a stupid
>>5397951
I think that set must have shelfwarmed like nobodies business, any convention I go to there's vendors selling it, with barely any mark up.
The planets series mini cloud car I know definatly is a shelfwarmer because I still see it warming shelves at toys r us.
Makes me think LEGO are scared to make another, putting Lando in one would surely sell better though........
I just bought my first LEGO set since like 2011, and it was the new Shuttle Tyderium.
I love it, but I want to build a UCS-esque stand for it so I can display it in flight mode. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could do that? I have to order the parts so I'm building it in LDD.
>>5397307

Stupid orange cloud car.
>>5398345
but from wave to wave they changed them.
Kinda like

and they mixed them more than nexo where you can have the main character too many of.
>>5397692
The Y-wings were used most prominently during the Malevolence arc, in some of the first episodes of the series. Anakin and Ahsoka were leading a squadron of clone piloted Y-wings.
>>5398177
tumblr girls will be happy they can get a hairpiece to better make themselves
>>5398233
lego and star wars had a different plan prior to disney buying it. Blame disney for canceling the 3D releases. We would have gotten a little more episode 2 in 2013.
>>5397692
>caring about canon
Chewbaca is dead, remember? George Lucas would have given us Y-wings.
>>5397928
>that's just bullshit to excuse the new director's shit ability to world build and/or their over concern about what the average moviegoer thinks star wars is
>>5397939
>The old X-wing was all purpose in the other films there was just a limited number so they used Y-wings to bolster their ranks as they had a bunch of the shitpieces lying about.
Yeah, and unlike the Rebel Alliance, the Resistance only has around two squadrons worth of pilots, so it makes more sense for them to have 18 all-purpose X-wings than a couple handfuls of special purpose craft.
>>5397603
>absolutely no orange elements
???????????????
>>5398391
>mixed them more
That's bullshit as the first waves had literally 4 ninjas with ocassional sensei or Nya.
In sets released in 2011 (ninja vs skeletons) we had
>4x Kai and 1x Kai Dx (which only has different torso print)
>3x Jay and 2x Jay Dx
>3x Zane and 1x Zane Dx
>2x Cole and 2x Cole Dx
Sensei Wu was in 3 sets and Nya was in 2.
Also it's not like the knights will look exactly the same in every next wave.
>>5397479

Stop....
You guys have free reign to make a 6x6 table display. What's the theme, what's the layout?
>>5398430
The choice is obvious
>>5398430
Clarify: Six-foot square?
Assuming yes, theme would be "Everything is Awesome!" and layout would be a train made up of like twenty cars from all different themes driving through all the different themes. Each car is carrying characters from that theme, and they're watching out the windows at the amazing differences and similarities they all share!
Of course, there are a bunch of people outside the train, waving at their friends as they pass by.
>>5398430
The largest GBC evar.
Or I could do what I see at most conventions and just have a train circuit with a load of stock Lego sets around it and call it done.
Book shelf guy here, thinking of making each cabinet a theme of each Star Wars movie, I have 6 spaces after all, any ideas on how I could arrange some of them? Set them up?
>>5398370
I feel like that face (or a similar face) was in an Alpha Team set around the same time.
>>5398375
>>5398388
Funny you should mention that...
>>5398420
Yeah, I don't understand it either. I suppose if you got 4500, 7666, 8089, 75014, and 75049, you could have five different Snowspeeders with varying quantities of orange.
>>5398437
Beatthedeviloutofit/10
>>5398430
Since I am into comics, probably something Marvel related.
Have iconic buildings like Daily Bugle and stuff along with some city sets here and there.
Heroes around town, villains attacking buildings and fighting the heroes.
Just one big scene, really.
>>5398075
Wow. I don't think I've ever seen anything of mine reposted before.
I really need to stop biting my nails.
>>5398425
What, all over the surrounding media they keep going on about how the Resistance barely has any shit due to the New Republic not thinking the First Order to be a threat; Their troop transports are made of freighters and B-wings slapped together with armor for crying out loud!
THEY HAVE NIEN NUNB FLYING FOR THEM!!!
>>5398467
I think what other anon means is, "It's silly to expect Star Wars to make sense."
I disagree, but isn't it wonderful that we can disagree on the Internet and still have civil conversation?
I have finally scanned all 56 powers I could find.
>>5398462
Lego store. I don't know what they were ACTUALLY giving them out for... I think it was for the kids doing the free monthly build. I got one cause I was bro'ing it up with the manager last time I was in there and he gave me one when I asked if they had any other promo stuff going on.
>>5398477
Wow. Clean. Well done.
>>5398477
Noice. And these scan?
(Haven't bothered to get the app yet...)
Some folks were complaining earlier about how there's no players anymore... Fortrex + merlok's library makes a pretty fun castle.
>>5398481
Yes, you can even zoom it and scan it from few feets.
>>5398484
This time with a picture.
>>5398472
True, I'm just sick of the whining on why we didn't get a bunch of different Resistance ships...
They didn't HAVE shit in this movie!
It's a much better argument for the First Order, but I rather dislike TIEs in the first place...
>>5398484
There's no playsets*
>>5398491
The FO did have two types of TIEs--the regular version and the Special Forces version with a second gunner position. But for how long we saw them up close, they were almost indistinguishable.
>>5398488
Looks nice. Are those stickers on the big transparent orange pieces, or are they printed?
This one's not mine.
>>5398316
Scott?
>>5398363
Why red? White was the closest I could find to match what I've seen of them.
>>5398177
I like it.
>>5398206
They've been doing his mask as kind of a metal helmet in the comics.
>>5398454
Ironically I have 75074 and it's my favorite snowspeeder of the bunch.
>>5398284
How much you pay for him?
I paid $1.06 for mine.
>>5398499
Both.
The merlok on the left is printed and the generic lion head thing on the right is a sticker. Also, the big blue panel on the wall is the single largest decal I've ever applied to a Lego.
>>5398507
>he paid for Revan

Its ok, my money went to china.
>>5398299

>>5398526
I'll admit I'm a total dork. But things like when such-and-such a ship entered service really don't influence my enjoyment of the Lego sets.
>>5398477
Thats cool.
Thx.
Did much effort with the re-build of the shields.
I just cropped mines as they came
>>5398496
>The FO did have two types of TIEs--the regular version and the Special Forces version with a second gunner position. But for how long we saw them up close, they were almost indistinguishable.
Yeah, biggest complaint I've heard against that is that the FO and SF TIEs are just reskinned LNs, which is mostly true, and that the First Order should have been rocking Interceptors and such.
...Personally, I'd go for a TIE/X-wing sort of Hybrid; My biggest issue with the TIE is those huge radiators/solar panels that take up SOO MUCH SPACE!
They have folding shit all over the series, why not make a TIE with folding Radiators/Solar Panels so you can CRAM MORE OF THEM INTO YOUR SHIPS!!!
Careful, you're gonna trigger the "REEEEEE NORMIE" type.
Are the bootleg Revans from Sheng Yuan? Is there a better place to buy bootlegs than eBay?
>>5398481
If you scan them, you get different in-app powers.
Like quicker attack, longer sword for melee or egg bombs from the sky.

>>5398556
I always read that as "alienexpress". I don't know why.

Okay thanks, I'm mostly going to pick up that set for a parts pack, so the less stickers the better.
>>5398560
Yeah. I spent several minutes taking it slow to get it as straight as possible and it was a pain in the ass what with static making to sticker do stupid shit...
I can't imagine any child ever getting one of those things on straight.

>kids
Yes, and we know how angry we could get as kids if the sticker didnt applied as we intended.
Cant remember applying stickers on lego, but other toys or sticker albums.
I got so frustrated if it didnt fitted.
I hated if the stickers were the same size as the area, if it was over the edge, after a year, the stickers got loose.
Maybe this is the reason, why im so autistic with stickers, scarred that it might fell off.
Thxd industry. lol
>>5398421
Ok you are right ninjago had several doubles.
Kinda remembered it differently.
But its not one character extremely too much.
So there's a number above all the lion heads in the Nexo sets "375-6075".
I googled it and it's the serial number of the very first Lego castle set from the late 1970's. Nice touch, Lego.
>>5398454

It just occurred to me while looking at that old timey set: they based the layout of the fortrex on that old castle! Drawbridge flanked by two towers with a third tower in the rear-center, all around a central, square courtyard. Neato.

Pretty sure that set is the reason lego uses flesh colored minifigs in licensed stuff now.
>>5398544
Been looking into it a lot but the colors DO have some sort of pattern to it.
For the blue shields the ones with Black codes and white backgrounds are always summons. But formation of Fortitude Being a Merlock Shield is a Blue shield in the game fucking up that theory.
The only Green Utility atm is Bonkers beans which has a White code and dark green.
Anybody else notice anything?
Im hoping there is actually a pattern but a lot of it will seem to be random untill we have more shields out!

>>5398648
>Pretty sure that set is the reason lego uses flesh colored minifigs in licensed stuff now.
Yeah, it is. For some reason, the designers of that set forgot that yellow minifigs are race-less.
Just think, we could have licensed sets with all the great torso prints... and they would work with City minifigs.
>>5398662
I've only noticed that the code blocks aren't longer than 3.
Also you can remove part of the code and it will still work.

>>5398687
>If they made Lando yellow there would have been a MASSIVE shit fit.
Why? It's not making him white, it's showing that yellow doesn't represent any skin color. By making everyone else yellow and him black, it's like they're saying that every non-licensed fig is white (Except for the ones with crazy skin colors, of course). I would have preferred a yellow Lando, it's more fitting. Same with Vitruvius.

The border is the code, the pic in the middle is just deco.
The code is like a QR code. The border at the bottom is for the app to understand what is bottom and what is top.
If its easy mode:
left side = hundreds
top = tenth
right side = 1-9
And maybe since there are not so many powers, some with 989 would be read as 089. since there are no powers with 200th or above.

It's like eBay, each store is one seller, so you can't combine stuff from them, which unfortunately means paying multiple shipping costs if you buy from multiple stores.
Add stuff to your wanted list, select "By shop" and organize by unique lots, and it'll show you the shops that have the most items on your wanted list. Alternatively, look up one item, and individually go through the stores in order of price, looking for one that has lots of stuff on your wanted list.
Look at the splash page and store terms in case there's any important info there like shipping costs, pay after getting an invoice, and make sure to update your order status.
>>5398857
That helps a lot, thanks anon!
>>5398785
interesting, thx.
As far as i see, it seems like the top row is important.
I get the feeling that you find the the code in the top.
Top = 10
sides = 12
and looking at the shield codes, sides are most the same in the shields. top is always different.
Only the last shield and the right corner troubles me a little bit.
Maybe the code is just top and number 1-10, black = yes, no color = no.
So you could get a numbercode that unlocks the app-power.
Side and middle is just deco, so it looks more impressive and the app can recognize that its a code.
But im just thinking, didnt test it.
And the last is still troubling me.

Yellow was originally chosen because focus groups (yes, those were a thing in 1978) said it looked happy and racially ambiguous.
Actually, though, the first sets to kick off the whole licensed=fleshies rule were the NBA sets in '03--the ones that had likenesses of real-life players.

>>5398772
Note the "Error correction" part of the data. QR codes (and regular UPC-style barcodes) have data correction built into the code. For UPCs, the last digit is the check digit. For QRs, it's more complicated, but you basically take the data and perform some calculations, and make sure the end result matches. This way, even if one of the modules of data is obscured, distorted, or destroyed, you can still figure out what it said.
Kind of like Sudoku. You can use what you do know to fill in the blanks.
ANYWAY I bet Nexo Power shields have a bit or two dedicated to making sure the code is read properly.
And finally, I'm assuming that the codes for future powers are not in the game at this time, and that they will update the app to support them in the future - like Dimensions did with Doctor Who.
>>5398857
One last question, where are technic beams? They don't seem to be listed anywhere under the technic sections.
>>5398937

>ANYWAY I bet Nexo Power shields have a bit or two dedicated to making sure the code is read properly.
I guess thats why the bottom is a corner, as safe guarding.
> I'm assuming that the codes for future powers are not in the game at this time
I guess that the powers that you can collect at the moment are already in the game.
But if they make a wave 2, they will add more.
Because if you dont include them now it could take too long for the wait of tha apple approval. Since every small change goes through apples hands.

They didn't HAVE shit in this movie!
You realize this literally doesn't make any sense in the face of a film that essentially a soft reboot. They could have done ANYTHING. No x-wings, all b-wings, all new ships, they were pandering. They featured x-wings and the falcon to pander. Any story reason is fit the purpose of their pandering.Arguments aren't needed when they had 30 years of back story to fill in as they wanted to do whatever they wanted, which eventually landed at only having x-wings.
Just picked up the King's Mech today and I noticed one of the pieces has aurebesh printed on it. Anyone know why? Was this in an earlier Star Wars set?

Eh, it really depends on what your going to do with them...
Parting them out might give you a better profit ratio than a smaller set depending on Price-per-part, but the real money is going to be sitting on the unopened box for a few years, since a large set is inherently a better collectible.
