The release nobody expected edition.
Yeah but that's not as violent sounding as cutthroat. Kids aren't always going to have the lexicon to know exactly what onslaught and bludgeon means as compared to cutthroat which is made of 2 words they will more likely know and realize how it sounds.
Some names, like Shockwave, get changed due to issues copyrighting the name, or if another company is currently using the name for a toy.
Thoguh Swoop is a weird one, specualation is that Hasbro wanted to separate the AoE character from G1 Swoop because he had two beast heads. But in time people just considered him G1 Swoop's counterpart anyway.
That did happen though.
I remember during the pre movie buzz I wanted Strafe in the movie to be like "Hello, my name is Strafe. Glad to make your acquaintance."
And the other head to be like "ME SWOOP!"
Its a rights/honour/childhood thing like how americans cling to their second amendment.
I'm not american but I would prefer for them to keep their old names, but I'd still call them that, and surely takara would too.
Doesn't this just look abysmal?
Look at it.
The hollow limb thing doesn't usually bother me, BUT JESUS
and the rest of it too...
look at it
Finally got Defensor and absolutely love him.
Only thing is, I know First Aid's handfootgun should be able to peg on top of his vehicle mode, but I can't make it work.
From what I've seen online, I guess there's supposed to be a small opening between the hand's fingers? Because I can't find any opening of the sort on mine. I hope I'm just dumb and missing something obvious rather than this being a QC issue.
So according to former Fun Publication people on Allspark, seems that Hasbro will be running Botcon 2016.
That feel when you get your shit fest taken away from you to be done right for once.
>>5395868 So Generations Cybertron Optimus Prime and sticking it in the same wave as a Deluxe Leobreaker that combines CW style?
I became less annoyed when I saw that in universe Blast Off didn't WANT to become a Jet but Onslaught forced him to after his rocket mode got him seperates from the team for so long that it crippled the team since now they couldn't form Bruticus.
Still would like the rocket but I can live with the in universe explanation.
And should I keep buying CW Bruticus parts or just sell Blast Off and Swindle (and maybe even CW Menasor) so I can get UW Bruticus?
Well it doesn't seem to work on mine. And I'm just looking at images online, it looks like the gun should sit much more forward than just tabbing it at the gunbarrels.
Either way I guess it's not a big issue even if I can't figure this out.
Everything is still happening, just it seems this year it's run by Hasbro and not Fun Publications
There will still be a box set, I don't know if they said anything about the exclusives they have at the show or anything like that
...like I said in my original post, I know there's SUPPOSED to be something on the fingers, but hopefully you can tell from this finger that there isn't enough space on mine for that tab.
Appreciate you trying to help any way.
Oh in the other pic it looked like it was there. Qc issue for you. Id say contact Hasbro, but they'll want you to send the whole figure back and they will send you something(s) of equal value.
This could be really good or really bad. And as shitty as FunPub's exclusives are at least they do kinda think outside the box. I could Hasbro Botcon sets just being "Platinum" versions of regular releases.
>Brawl's been a manlet for two consecutive Bruticus molds
Walky hates AVP, ergo AVP is good.
>that's not as violent sounding as cutthroat.
Are they afraid kids will become Jefferey Dahmer or need therapy because of a scary sounding name?
None of use who were kids during the time of the original Cutthroat needed therapy because the name scared us. Im pretty sure the name didnt scare any of us.
We were in the era of Madballs. gross edgy shit was in vogue
They want their greeble back.
None of this thinking is that new. The US is different with what's allowed, but we now live in a country ran by minivan moms and their defeated husbands. Names like that are too violent for little Billy.
Just like leia in her slave outfit, which has had figures on normal retail shelves for over 30 years, is all of the sudden offensive and lewd.
>Voyager scaled, has translucent windshield, and cooler card art
I had a fat, super aspie and near blind vietnamese friend on MSN back in the da that would have complete conniptions if I ever called a particular toy its non-name. Even to the point of trying to correct me on using Jazz and not Autobot-Jazz.
He eventually started being one of the main editors of the tfwiki and becoming one of Walkys cronies. I think he's dead now.
>I had a fat, super aspie and near blind vietnamese friend on MSN back in the da that would have complete conniptions if I ever called a particular toy its non-name. Even to the point of trying to correct me on using Jazz and not Autobot-Jazz.
I might get four and give them to Cyclonus to use as limbs
They would be known as "Cyclonus' Armada" or "Armadacons"
And the combined mode would be Cyclotron or Cyclotronus. Because carrying aroud Galvatron's head is retarded.
Making Blastoff a jet was retarded.
What? Shuttles are not used a lot by real life military? Undoubtedly. I won't argue that. But last I checked, Transformers weren't realistic.
If we can have a flaming Winnebago, a Fairlady Z as a Highway Patrol car and a Lamborghini as a fire chiefs car, a military space shuttle really isn't straining the limits of credibility any further
>flaming Winnebago, a Fairlady Z as a Highway Patrol car and a Lamborghini as a fire chiefs car
Not in combiner wars ;^)
But none of these names have ever actually CAUSED anything. Look at all the violent tragedies since 1990. Did ANYBODY ever say they killed and ate a person because a Transformer was named CUTTHROAT? Did anyone ever steal a care because a Transformer was named Wheeljack?
If youre afraid of your child getting the wrong idea, just sit him down and explain it to him. Hasbro is run by idiots, but it's not their job to raise your damn kids. Take some damn personal responsibility in your role as a parent
I remember some retard on Allspark back in 2000. I think he was named Beastbot X or something.
At any rate when the Car Robots toys hit the States, he insisted on calling RID Megatron Gigatron. He got all snotty and claimed that he was "Being faithful to the original mold".
When he bought a bad guy toy he would call it part of his "Robots in Diguise Destron" collection. Even though there WEREN'T any actual Destrons in the original "Car Robots" line.
What a faggot
If they had just "repainted the cab red" (Even though the color change would actually be in the plastic, not the paint) you would have bitched about it for precisely that reason anyway
I swear to Christ. If they only redeco it, you whine about repaints. If they actually make significant physical changes to the mold, you STILL whine.
Remind me again why Hasbro should ever bother doing ANYTHING for the fans?
They could have not made a square peg fit in a triangle hole. Ultra Magnus and Powermaster Optimus Prime worked completely differently and have different design, so should have been a new mold.
>doesn't kill people with clubs
>doesn't rule Rome or the road
>doesn't rule Russia
>he actually isn't supreme and get stomped by combiners and citybots
Why is this allowed?
>>he actually isn't supreme and get stomped by birds
Never had these as a kid. I am really liking these cute little dorkuses. More articulation than I was expecting, too.
So, I was forced to get this guy to get ahold of my Onslaught. He is the reddest motherfucker I have ever seen. He doesn't look nearly as bad in bot mode, but body is just too red.
I really hope they release his limbs outside of the box set. It's gonna suck ass if I need to essentially rebuy this guy just to get a full Computron.
>I could Hasbro Botcon sets just being "Platinum" versions of regular releases.
This in my opinion would be our 2 worse case:
1.Combiner War Cyclonus, Scatter Shot, and many/all of the G2 gift sets would have been club rather than mass retail.
Im not saying they fill the gap but I'd wager they use the club as a testing ground for shit and use it to platform off of.
2.Early access. I could see them giving the club a month+ head start on mass retail toys with the most natural issues being scalping and endless bitching about club members getting a head start. That said for worse case situations this would help Hasbro see how many dedicated Buyers there were early on and that for good or ill would effect case ratios
I prefer the molding on UW's fliers, but I prefer the colors on CW.
And I will try and get the eventual Ruination we all know will happen.
I started liking Transformers in 2001 at the age of 6. I have to attachment to the G1 cartoon. I just want the rocket and 4 rotors.
I don't own Rook or Cyclonus and never got them in my shitty area. Nor do I really want Galvatronus.
Meh. I figure my choices are try to return him somewhere (which would require a Helluva drive), open him and hope we get limbs, or open him and maybe buy the Computron set later.
Honestly, I'm not losing out on much by opening him. It's 26 bucks for a Voyager. I'll just set him up with some of my extra limbs or keep him just in bot mode, and he'll be fine, and if Computron is nothing BUT a boxed set, I'll decide if I want him then. He's probably not going to be out for months anyway, plenty of time to see whats coming.
Plus it's really only his body mode thats terrible. Jet mode looks cool, and bot mode is alright.
Honestly, the best Bruticus would probably be a mash of CW and UW parts. CW grey chest Onslaught, UW 4 rotor Vortex, whichever Blastoff you like (but if you're buying UW, might as well use the shuttle right?), Swindle probably won't vary much if at all between the 2 regions, and Brawl MIGHT get a fixed waist, who knows?
dude he's at least 20
2001 was 15 ago.
I'm 31. The first Transformers I remember having are Pipes, Pounce and Wingspan.
First TF was an unknown small green jeep (could've been hound) that I found at my dad's radio station
First time I saw TFs on TV was a busted vhs of the animated movie
First REAL dose of transformers was Beast Wars and my first Beast Wars toy was Terrorsaur.
My first vehicle series was Armada because our town didn't have whatever channel had RiD
Before I actually go in to the mythos and only kind of knew names from other generations I thought the beast era characters were already established characters. Like prime was now primal and so on until I caught the episode where they found the ark one day.
I mean we all kinda thought that to some degree until Primal found the Ark. I remember being around 13 or so when that episode aired and it blew my mind.
Maybe some of the heavy Usenet users knew Primal definitely wasn't at all Prime, but I could only use the internet half an hour a day maximum back then. So it wasn't easy to research/know everything like it is now.
I actually kept a word file on Beast Wars when it aired to jot down everything I knew to try to connect it to what I remembered of G1 and the Animated movie. Granted, that only took up like 10 minutes a week but I was more into it than I should have been.
First Transformer was a G1 Optimus Prime. I was spoiled rotten and had so many fucking bots as a kid and it was amazing. Only things I was ever missing was Swoop, Jetfire, and Predaking.
And then my asshole parents threw all my shit in my grandparents attic where it was swiftly fucking destroyed by the ravages of heat, cold, and time.
Yeah I didn't have internet until BW was in to the TM2 stuff because I remember making a homestead website about transformers and i think max steel saying shit like "forget barbies and Polly pocket. Prepare for the best toys to exist"
Didn't really know how to browse then and find this animation.
I also thought James Avery voiced Primal for a very long time and would tell friends this to blow their minds.
BW was the first toyline I started to buy with My allowance and personal money, so that holds a special place.
I think the bat Optimus Primal and croc Megatron was the first toy I bought on My own.
I had a few G1 toys when I was young. I remember having Micromasters, Pretenders, and Powermaster Prime.
I had to Google James Avery. never watched Fresh Prince or any of that stuff, really. I was an odd duck and watched Taxi and Mary Tyler Moore on Nick at Night instead when all of that stuff was going down.
I definitely had a Geocities page, complete with spinning Star Wars gifs, fan fiction and roleplay chatroom logs.
I remember discovering bwtf.com when I was 14 or so and using my whole half hour to read as many reviews as possible one Saturday afternoon before my friends picked me up for band practice and then a party.
I have been into this shit for way too long.
I'm the other 31 year old. The first TFs I bought with my money were also BW. They were Rhinox and Terrorsaur. I remember bringing them over to my nextdoor neighbor/friend's house. He was SUPER into TFs as well but around that time he got more into playing JRPGs on his SNES instead. I remember him not caring about them at all and I was bummed. Then again, he was a couple years older.
That was actually when I knew we didn't have too much in common anymore and we drifted apart.
I was completely a nick at nite kid also. Learned to tell time by dick van dyke episodes. I also watched that TGIF stuff so I knew Uncle Phil.
Funny enough he voiced shredder which was even more of my childhood than primal.
I will always love Terrorsaur because he was my first Beast era figure. Too bad he was the starscream of the series which means little bitch.
Animated and the IDW comics (post-Furman) are both cool. Animated revived my interest (watched it a couple years late) after the Bay movies killed it. Never really bought any of the toys, though.
First TF was a bootleg Jr. Optimus Prime with the cardboard trailer.
Started hardcore collecting post-Beast Machines, about early RiD. I fell in love with my Gigatron, Black Convoy, God Magnus and Fire Convoy and was ecstatic when they imported RiD over and I've kept collecting since.
Oh yeah, Terrorsaur for me too. See >>5396684. I didn't think his show character was as cool as his toy, either. but I still love that toy. When I saw they used the mold as Strafe in that recent Walmart pack I had to have it.
I also loved the shit out of Dick Van Dyke.
I didn't know about him and Shredder, either. Obviously TMNT was my shit too (since I am of that age), so that is extra cool. I was obsessed with TMNT for a few years, but Transformers were more enduring. Liking some of the current TMNT lines tho.
GREAT TOYS. I loved BW but always missed vehicles, and Beast Machines didn't exactly scratch the itch. I saved up so much money from allowance and odd jobs to buy RID Prime, Magnus, Scourge, the Predacon trio and the Autobot brothers. Never had RID Megatron til recently and I still haven't opened him. Saving it for a special occasion.
Needless to say, my high school girlfriend thought I was nuts for being so stoked about those toys. Whatever.
Forgot to add the first lines I actually collected as an adult was animated and classics/universe.
Got at least one of each deluxe/voyager/leader mold for animated because i love animated then and now.
I felt I had to get all the classics and shit because I thought that's what real collectors did even though i barely knew these g1 characters at all. There's some good figures I discovered, but I would totally go back and tell myself which to avoid if I could.
Man I'm gonna get told to get to /vg/ but I remember just getting a computer and internet when beast wars came out. One of the first games I got was Jedi Knight. I remember discovering mods for it which was a brand new world, you know unheard of shit for my playstation. And some dude made a bunch of beast wars and g1 characters for multiplayer and I would run around one level for hours with friends playing as bw megatron with a lightsaber. A few years ago I looked that shit up hoping i could find it but all the links were broken.
Ah, well I think we have all fallen into that at least a little in our collecting lives. I thought I was done with TFs after the movie stuff, so I sold my classics Starscream, Skywarp, Astrotrain, Rodimus, Mirage, Bumblebee and a few others. I wish I hadn't, and I wish I'd bought Sideswipe, Hound, Ironhide, Ratchet and some of the others.
Not a big deal in the end. But I am attached to those G1 characters and do really like the classics line.
I can actually relate to that. One of my really good friends was super into modding Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight 2. He made chrome stormtroopers, Boba Fetts with Black Flag shirts and all sorts of stuff. I would have been 18 at the time. Had just moved to the big(ger) city and he was my roommate. He'd be up til 5am, just yelling into his headset playing that shit online. I kid you not, his room was knee deep in cigarette butts, cigarette packs and store brand cola cans. All he did was play that game.
I would have played it too if I knew about those Bw/G1 mods. I'd never heard of those til now. Even though my friend did make me a snake eyes skin for the game.
I started collecting with RoTF, the complexity and some of the design atract me, then re-watched the old cartoon and started reading the wiki, just browsing names and liked a lot of characters, wich made me start with classics, only regret is overpaying for Ratchet.
I'm 19. I grew up watching the 1986 film religiously. My parents would rent it for me every time we went to block buster. I've probably seen it about 100 times. I watched some Unicron trilogy stuff as a Kid but I always preferred what little G1 content I could find when I was younger.
It was just multiplayer skins and you couldn't transform or anything but at the time it blew my mind because all their sounds were ripped from the show, I had some other skins like Boba Fett or whatever and they just used the same stuff as the default game but Megatron said crazy shit from the show when he got hit or killed or whatever. I was like 11 at the time and it was mindblowing. I forget what all characters there were but I know my friend liked to play as Quickstrike and the Beast Wars Ravage.
I rented the 86 movie a billion times too.
I remember them just being multiplayer. Seems like that modding community was way bigger than I remember.
I can't imagine playing any online game at age 11... though I guess I found online text-based RPGs (MUDs, MUSHes, etc) around age 13.
I think I was probably just playing Stunt Race FX with my stupid friends on my SNES at age 11.
Blew my mind when I bought a letterbox release of the DVD only to realize that the movie was formatted for fucking TV so the theatrical release chopped off the top and bottom of every scene.
how are you early 30s but had roves of g1 stuff?
You should be closer to late 30s at youngest.
Unless you had a bunch of hand me downs
Also never mind that means when you 7~10ish G1 TFs would have been phased out completely.
Weird. The VHS version I always rented was never censored, to my knowledge. The first VHS copy I bought was censored though. And then I think the first DVD copy I bought was censored, too.
I own like 4 separate DVD versions because I'm an idiot.
I'm 31 and I had more than a dozen G1 figures. Most of them were late G1 (pretenders and micromasters especially), but I somehow had some Minibots, Headmasters and Throttlebots. I came from a small town though, so they might have hung around on the pegs longer.
And forgot pic...
I know. Sometimes I just skip a bunch of text-only posts when catching up with a /tfg/, but this one's been really good.
Sculpt looks pretty good, you can't even tell that he's a Headmaster with the way that head is shaped.
Hopefully he's better painted (or has more plastic colors in the final release.
i grew up in a poor family in a third world country, the first official transformer my parents bought me was skullcruncher for christmas but i donated him when i was in my "too cool for toys" phase. regrets
To be fair, good parenting can make up for children being retards. I never tried to eat shit off the floor or little pieces of plastic, because my parents would watch me and make sure I wasn't being a little retard.
Because people here like this stuff or else they wouldn't be here. Anyone who claims otherwise is just a shitter trying to troll.
The only reason theres a lot of whining is because everyone has a different definition of what is "good" for any given figure, beyond a few near universally recommended figures, like Generations Springer.
I hope thats not a production figure, he needs some paint. Looks good otherwise though.
Theres been rumors the 86' cast is going to be getting a lot of new molds in TW, so I'm hoping we get Kup, Arcee, Hotrod, etc. Especially Hotrod, I only started collecting recently and the only HR I have is the CW Legends . I want a good Deluxe or Voyager.
I actually have very clear memories of being that young and don't remember gnawing on toys, kids these days are morons, I remember my third birthday and being disappointed that I didn't get a Powermaster Optimus Prime, I'm in this fucking fandom for life... oh god help
Why is he all dark blue instead of light blue? The lack of paint apps is also kinda disappointing. I seriously hope this is just an unfinished prototype. I kinda liked Generations Blurr unless this one has a sleaker vehicle mode.
Yeah, G1 had darker blue bits, but he was mostly grey/light blue.
There was one figure that I had a weird oral fixation with. I didn't crunch on it or try to eat it because I knew better but for some reason I really liked the texture of the tail from the tmnt triceraton figure.
I think I stopped butting toys anywhere near my mouth when I once thought I could do a cool trick, no clue what the trick was, and ended up with an astronaut Ralph helmet lodged in my throat like an idiot around 5 or so. Probably a bit younger.
Yeah I know, I know the 3p has hollow parts too argument and I agree, I'm not trying to be an asshole about this like some people on the board it just irks me when a major part of a figure is so vacant now especially since in my area deluxes are 18 bison dollars.
28 currently, but with the way I look and act I might as well be 18.
>tfw you can throw your money on toys and essential bills without a woman asking for stuff or a kid needing stuff
Oh how long can this bliss last
>Literally a repaint with new heads on menasor mold and team
>chest guy on same truck mold type doesn't stay secure
>looks like an ogre in default leg stance
>same combiner mode head is used 3 times
>battlecore optimus doesn't homage anyone due to star convoy shaped head but white body making it a bizzare fusion of not-ultra magnus and star convoy
>did I mention all limbs and torso parts are just repainted menasor bits with new heads?
>design is based on an IDW one shot take where the combined optimus team just suddenly gets a color shift from red and blue to white for no fucking reason
I own this toy so I am aware of how stupid a choice it is.
>Retooling perfectly fine arms into hollow pieces of shit for no reason
Just Kup my shit up.
I have no idea. All the MPs have that little square peg so their weapons stay in. I don't know why they didn't think of the same thing.
They could even have added more of a curl to his fingers and it would have been fine. But noooo
I've got a bit of a suspicion that Hasbro is giving the designers extremely short deadlines to make these recent figures, which is why they get a lot of easily spottable errors. They're probably just not getting tested properly
25. First Transformer was collectively Magnaboss in August 1997. Didn't get it combined until about 10 years later. I started really collecting with RiD and the few Beast Wars stragglers from Deka stores that were in the process of going out of business at the turn of the century. I bought several Armada toyd, before dropping the line and picking it up sgain in 2007 with the movie Legends and Barricade. Now I buy Combiners, Cyberverse toys and larger toys if I like the look of them or the character.
34 Ausfag here. Had shit loads of G1 stuff. Still remember getting Hot Rod, Rodimus Prime and Blurr for Christmas one year.
And the only combiners I ever finished were Defensor and Predaking.
This one uses the Brawl mold twice, and unless they fix it it's going to shelfwarm longer than Injector.
Brawl is shit, even if you get one where the waist locks. His forearms are laughable, and if the waist isn't lined up exactly right, he won't go into tank mode and you have to take the whole thibg apart ans start again.
Considering there's minimal new tooling for the release, it's probably going to be all cream.
Unless there's actually new hands and feet, and his spear/flail weapon is included too.
Then I think it's completely open to wild speculation.
Depends, do people get the combiners because they're individual characters or chase up the combined forms?
They'd want to get as much use out of a mold as possible, who else could they remold skylynx into really?
So far every body type has least 1-2 reuses, some being better (cyclonus) than others (optimus prime)
My only hope is skylynx can be made into a liozack and not a deathzaras...thing with 3 characters merged together.
I need a skylynx and to see what the possibilities for retooling a quadruped into a bipedal robot, though I got a feeling hasbro is aiming at mostly kids here who'd see "new" robots while us adults see same bodies but new heads.
If action figures can get away with new heads and accessories so can robots, just a shame its harder to do because of how picky we've become.
But who cares, I'm a seeker fag so I've embraced repaints as the norm.
I love the retooling for wheeljack but the paint apps are fucking weak.
What good is a retooled alt mode if the robot mode paint apps are so weak it might as well be totally unpainted!?
Most people get a combiner for the combined figure, but that doesn't mean they should neglect the individual figures. Even then, they still technically got Leokaiser wrong by not giving him the correct color for the head, and not using a second Skydive mold for maximum accuracy to the original Leokaiser. We'll have to wait and see if they really are including those extra combiner weapons, and special hand/foot parts.
Most likely takara would fix that head, I mean...look at bruticus, that head ain't right, good chance its to separate the head from the leozack head but looking at battle core OP I could be wrong.
As for the jets maybe they wanted some variation so its not 2x2 like with Victorion, all cw's try hard to break up the limb count.
Hold on tight anon, if you can't wait grab the inaccurate CW like many people no doubt would, I on the other hand WILL wait for the UW.
I fucked up with bruticus and defensor, am not going to fuck up this time.
I'm the old guy here I guess at 36.
I distinctly remember my first transformer was G1 Optimus Prime. We were pretty poor growning up, so my toy choices were limited and treasured the few I got at Christmas and on my Birthday. I had Op, that weird grey Shockwave that wasn't an actual branded Transformer, Skylynx, Broadside, The two Decepticon battlechargers, and Doubledealer.
Eventually a I got considered "too old" for toys by family, so I started getting books, video games, etc. It wasn't till I got a job after college and making my own money that I started to buy my own toys again, so right around 2001? '02? Right when RiD and Armada the Alternators were coming out.
Hasbro's defensor has ALOT going for it, rook was a smart move with mini groove as an apology to some fans, mostly got him as at the time I couldn't get him cheaper than importing from the US to my shithole.
I still can't work out why I chansed up the rest of the limbs of hasbro bruticus, yes it'll have more paint apps but considering 2 limbs are lazy repaints and that rather boring chest leaves a sour taste in my mouth, I might sell 2 (brawl and vortex) and keep what's left for original combiners.
This way my galvatronus will have some dignity next to grand galvatron and gives my future skylynx some friends to play with, speaking of which what can we expect from a UW skyreign?
I think the best hope for sales from liokaizer is if IDW gave the team some spotlight, I do want a liozack and starscream partnership, or perhaps leozack reprise starscream's role as scheming backstabber and starscream realizing how much shit megatron used to cop off him, since rattrap is just too nice to do anything like that.
I know I'm stepping into /co/ territory but I'd pick up IDW again if they can give both leozack and starscream some much needed "screen" time
This is a cool idea. The "Starscreams" Transformers never interacted with one another. Unless you count that one BW episode were Starscream's ghost shot Terrorsaur
Terrorsaur was such lost potential, man. Cool Starscream type, but then they kill him off
I found him annoying but I guess I was too much of a starscream fag to realize how...exact he was to him, killing him off may of helped since there were plenty of backstabbers in the crew.
That'd make for a cool legends comic too, all the backstabbers together fighting for top slot from different universes and timelines, I believe there was an old comic that had screamers from different universes fighting to be the "main" one so they could homage that too.
All of these fan ideas of ours, and I bet someone did it but turned the shit from cool to deviant oc
Speaking of deviant art oc, remember those g1 modded cw's that homaged megatron starscream soundwave etc?
Someone tried to copy him, if I were the owner of the original soundwave I'd kick his ass for this abomination
Is that the thing where you just need to reload it each time? Thanks for the help, out of all the places I've asked, TFG is the only one to give me a proper answer.
>Not bitching about something undeniably horrible
I used to charge people to soft mod psp's (because I was an asshole who knew alot of dumb cunts) years ago but I'm fairly out of the game
But you can soft mod those, it won't be permanent but its workable, load up the soft mod, and just keep it in standby mode for all eternity.
I had a Grand Turismo psp slim and before I gave it away I used the soft mod on it, back then not everything worked but games were possible to run, by now surely everything would work on it homebrew and emulation wise.
Don't mind me, you reminded me of my younger years.
Eh, the original version had hollow spaces in its arms too, and armor that didn't even wrap the whole way around so they looked ever worse.
Also the entire torso is hollow for no reason.
I dunno but this UM never did anything for me. I prefer white optimus with power armor, that attribute made him unique, but alas, he is tiny mustache guy. Still I commend them for working in the fact that the UM appearance is just a shell.
Just think, 30 years from now kids that are in kindergarten now will be on the newfangled VR brain internet complaining about the name Rookblast on thier nostalgia toys.
Of course they'll have to back to being made of diecast cause we'll have run the fuck out of oil to make plastic with by that point, so they'll bitch about that too.
But least the gaps in the arms look stylized and sorta filling, not as noticeable as its retool which is just an empty half shell.
The original as you're showing is hollow but has a slotted panel, the other is very much exposed, even the inside of the legs are worse seeing how UM has tiny gaps here and there while OP has the same issue as the arms
Only in dreamwave did we really see the white optimus and...I remember the generations one got into a comic but can't remember if it was a botcon exclusive or what, I only remember him being refereed as...think optimus's little brother or something
>people care too much about if its hollow
It's extra annoying when the hollowness is actually necessary for the transformation, but people still complain.
People complain about MP Bumblebee's hollow forearms, but that's where his fists go in vehicle mode! lots of transformers do that!
>was quite pleased what they did with lambor's arms and legs and the panels.
me too! put people still complained about even Lambor's legs
On TFW, there's actually a guy who makes leg fillers for Lambor's legs, and i'm like... how superficial can you get?
It's fucking Masterpiece.

18, My first Transformer was Cybertron Muflap(I got him for Christmas), He's been badly beaten through my rough play. I still have him though. I laughed when I learned he shelfwarmed HARD.
Leozack and the Breastforce are already comfirmed in IDW, they're members of Deathsaurus' crew when the DJD stop by for a visit, you can pick all the members out from the background in a few different pages, possibly even Deathcobra (Vortex retool when?)
>"Space stuff is popular now, how about one of them Combaticons turn into one?"
>"But they're supposed to be military based, sir."
>"Idgaf, just say that one had crashed where they got their alt modes".

I was big into Beast Wars as a kid. I also had some G1 bots thanks to my brother: Metroplex, Jetfire, and Wreckgar being of note. I didn't come back to Transformers regularly until the classics line was almost out the door.
