Yea no problem man they're the halo joyride line they only did halo 1 and 2 I'd suggest looking em up on eBay right now theres a lot of them just posted cheap right now I would suggest only paying more than 20 for brand new ones and yea the weapons they came with are amazing in detail. They also stand up good on their own and can pose pretty good

From what i've seen of their spartans, i one hundred percent agree with you. Too short and too limited in their articulation to be of any use.

Though i am curious as to how good their alien figures are. Their articulation isn't too important, but do they look weirdly undersized compared to 6" figures? Or would they probably fit in ok?

This is the only elite fig I have, he's okay for being a cheap piece of crap.

They've made some really nice looking aliens though, The hunter figure looks fucking great, and the Didact is nice too, though I don't think he scales correctly.

Oh, and they have made some good looking Brute figures if you are into Brutes.

I only own pic related, but I'm pretty sure they've made brutes from every halo that featured them(except H2)

Sure, the Joyride figures could hold their guns better, but they look awful. The line was poorly painted, when there was paint, and everything looked like it was an 80s toy.

Back when these lines were new, i was only buying up the aliens, because i like weird but cool looking aliens.
Didn't really care for the spartans and marines because they were so generic looking, but having bought stuff on for cheap at conventions, i REALLY REALLY MISSED OUT. Highly poseable inspite of the sculpt getting in the way, so they're a lot of fun to play with. Even though i'm meh about the designs, they were really well painted and sculpted. So I'm stuck paying like $8 more over previous MSRP... which is pretty awesome given how awesome the figures are.
Makes the newer figs feel like crap, since they're less articulated.

I like the new Jackal design, but in the same sense I like the 1998 Godzilla design. It's a cool design, but it is NOT the source material at all. Hopefully they handwave it in the future as like a different species of Kig-Yar or something (by the way, does anyone talk about the Skirmishers anymore?).

The Grunts aren't that bad, especially when you see what they originally looked like (pic related) - all they really changed was the mask and armor.

The Elites look fucking terrifying now, how can anyone hate it? Honestly the Elites didn't change that much - my biggest gripe was that the Covenant elites got rid of the arm armor - it made them look like they were wearing metal tanktops, and it looked fucking stupid.

What's the quality like on these? I don't care for Halo 4 and just want a good Mark V figure. Turns out the Mark V armor is a armor set for the figure on the right and not it's own figure.

That's what it always was. Jackals were explicitly stated to have tons of variations and subspecies as early as h3, H4 jackals come from a particular content and Skirmishers are from an asteroid colony.

No, not at all. There's even a skimisher character in one of the books from 2-3 years ago.
