Does anybody have any advice for tight wigs? I can barely get this one on, and when it is on I can't seem to adjust it without it popping off.
>>
>>5392824

Here ya go.
>>
>>5393014
I'd try a silicone wig cap. If you don't have one you can get self stck Velcro at a hardware store and cut little strips of the hook side to put on the head to grab the wig.
Wig might be too small but I had a SD16 with a Volks wig made for her size that would pop off without a wig cap, but it fits fine with something to grip. Make sure it's not folded under anywhere too, that can fuck up the fit. I line up the front and center of the wig and use long tweezers to gently pull down the edges of the if it's not spreading out properly enough to get all the way on

Looking into getting my first doll soon. I really like Isabel here, but are there any other companies that make more anthro style (read: not just humans with cat ears) dolls I should look into before I fall too much in love?
>>
>>5393053
I'll try the things you said, thanks. I didn't realise a silicone cap could be useful for tight wigs; I thought they were just for loose ones.

I'll have to do it tomorrow, though. I think I'm too tired right now to do anything doll-related without fucking up.
>>
>>5393069
DearMine has some fantastic anthros in every size. Luts is also experimenting in different sizes for their Zuzu Delfs. Pipos are super cute, though.
>>
>>5393014
I've had the same problems in the past. For one of them, I snipped a small allowance in the back of the wig. This method does not work well with elastic caps, though.

>>
>>5393096
Thanks, I'll have to check those out, too. I would be absolutely sold on Isabel, but Pipos clothing selection seems a bit lacking and I'm nowhere near experienced enough to know what else will fit. She's 60 cm, so that's about 1/3 scale, right?
>>
>>5393014
I've been in the same situation and honestly the only thing you can do is put it on really slowly and hope it succeeds and falls into a correct position

>>5393053
How are they supposed to put the wig cap on if the wig is tight though?
>>
are there any things you are supposed to avoid when putting on a wig? like pulling on the fibers or some thing?

and how can i straighten tight or short areas like the fringe?

sorry if these are common sense
>>
>>5393135

Hold on to the edges of the wig cap when you put the wig on to prevent hair pulling. Buy a soft tooth brush and use it to smoothers down any fly away hairs.

If you have a wig that's so tight it keeps popping off I suggest buying a pack of white balloons and cutting the stem off of them. Use it just like you would a silicone wig cap but since it's so thin it will fit underneath the wig and five it something to grip on.
>>
>>5393135
>and how can i straighten tight or short areas like the fringe?

You can use a 1/2'' flat iron (or even better: travel sized) on the lowest heat to straighten heat-resistant fiber wigs. An alternative method, ideally for synthetic wigs, is to dip the wig in warm (but not hot) water, brush out, and hang to dry.

is customs really diligent about taxing packages there?
>>
>>5393309

To be honest I don't knoe. The way it works afaik is packages only become taxable if the value is over 1k. The idea is that beyond that it's normally a commercial quantity of something thus taxable at 10%.

I've never hit that amount and most Aussies who aren't importers know to avoid it since paying taxes causes more abos to appear.

I had a doll come in December that was easily worth 1,500 AUD but was marked as around 1,000 USD. Nobody said a thing, no taxes, nothing. But I hear they're planning to add some kind of tax on every single package over $10, I don't know anything about it though.

newfag here but ive been in the hobby for almost a year. i just wanted to say that im brimmed with joy after seeing this thread because i REFUSE to be associated with the community lmao. im still in a state of culture shock even after living in the states for like 5 years, and westerners are so bratty and fucking weird. i dont want thear behavior and especially their pastel uke shota dolls near me.

rant aside, im glad to know theres at least some place here on the internet who share the same sense of humor as me, and also like this niche hobby. dare i say something elsewhere the sjws will come up with some shit reasoning that im racist against white people or im advocating pedophilia for liking tits on dolls.

>the sjws will come up with some shit reasoning that im racist against white people
That's not usually what they......ah nevermind. Welcome to the thread anon, I find most of the doll community irritating too but it really depends on how/who you associate with (also flickr is nice since you can just find people who upload good content and follow them without having to deal with other shit..but less doll people use flickr these days than before.)
>>
I need to do some minor mods for the first time, where can I get fresh milliput? I understand the hardener component can start to harden while it's still on the shelf.
>>
>>5394111

was my tumblr impression spot on?

actually, youre right. ive been on that website since 2010 and i think its time to move on. i did lurk around flickr a couple of months back, but as you said, its stagnant over there. instagrams a good place tho, but tracking tags is a nightmare because everythings glitter pastel uke boys, which isnt what im into.
>>
>>5394168
desu we need to make a new trend that doesn't suck.

I'm trying to get something started with bug related shit but it's not going to take off.
>>
>>5394175

a friend of mine has a moth theme going on with one of her dolls and it's fantastic but im not sure if that's the kind of thing you're talking about.

this has to be me being a lesbian if anything but where are my bjd yuris, i need more cute girls doing hot things w/ each other. i dont mind bjd yaoi as much but not when it's lowkey shotacon.
>>
>>5394276
Yeah, that kind of thing! I'd love to see the moth-themed doll if you are comfortable pointing me in that direction.

I've been trying to pose bugs with my 1/6 scale doll because it makes the bugs look giant and it's part of muh original character donut steel. I want them to look like housepets. I haven't found many people who have done that before.

These dolls/dolls in general are pretty much made for people to project unto or roleplay, one could assume that the owner creates a doll/character with "defects", or simply someone hurt and troubled, in regards to their own problems. Right?
And even just roughly knowing how MSbP works, is it not easy to figure out one major reason why this aesthetic has taken form..? Mental health problems is not in the decline per se.

And validation from the internet is huge these days.

I could also go on about the need some have to copy others (more famous doll owners, whom have dolls in this style) in hopes to gain fame too... Que snowball effect.
>>
>>5398509

Haha yeah, I thought the same thing.
Yeah, you're a human being, but that doesn't excuse you from responsibilities like the rest of us too. It's like accountability does not exist for tumblr users.

I think some of the new dolls she's been acquiring or whatever have been partial trades for her services. Probably wishful thinking she isn't using her doll's preorders to binge order her new dolls.

She's gonna be in deep deep shit if she doesn't deliver with her doll. I still think the niggerlips on Coffee look like she was trying to poorly emulate MH sculpts.
>>
>>5402649
naw man i just don't have much confidence when i see other artists that i've been following seem to explode in talent and kills in what seems like only a few months while i've been painting dolls for years with slow improvement in comparison. i think any artist probably feels this way. but it is also one of the many reasons i've lost interest in doing commissions. i feel like i only do my best work when i paint my own dolls, where i have complete freedom to experiment. i feel like i can't improve doing commissions, as in the end, every face i'm asked to do is the same, male or female. "light minimal blushing in natural tones. smokey eyes. brown, neutral expression eyebrows. not too long eyelashes in a dark color. natural lips."

i want to do heavy blushing and shading, use blues purples and greys for a touch of realism, i want to do skin texturing, and on the other side of the spectrum i also i want to do strange crazy makeup, i want to have fun.

anyway, enough ranting. i have some more blank heads coming in (extra faceplates and event heads) to play with. the only issue is trying to sell them in a timely fashion once i'm done. somethings i paint sell in an instant, others languish forever on the market place, i can never guess ahead of time how it will go.
>>

>She's gonna be in deep deep shit if she doesn't deliver with her doll.

I wanna know why the fuck it is that so many artists in the BJD hobby seem to have these kinds of mental breakdowns regularly and their fans let them get away with it time and again. Yes artists are human, but if you agree to do work for someone, you still have to do it! Especially when money is involved.

If you can't do the work, back out and don't take peoples' money and then string them along for months on end.
>>
>>5402930
Some people who do assorted kinds of craftsmanship/art for BJDs have no formal art training or small business management training to teach them that it's going to be absolute shit and they can't handle it.

The other problem is the ever-pervasive Dunning-Kruger effect where incompetent people do not realize that they are incompetent.

People make fun of her because she's as white as it can get and the look of her dolls is copied from dolls she already owns, which all have a very stereotypical "black woman" look going on.

Also LOL, she also goes on about the whole "hurrdurr David Bowie was a pedophile" thing, bet she thinks he's a rascist too because of the Thin White Duke persona (despite having a black wife).
Unlike her lazy fat ass he actually inspired people and made them feel better when LGBT was still in baby shoes.

It's interesting, I'm like the total opposite.

I'm sure without commissions I wouldn't have done so many different things because for my own dolls I like a certain look while my customers want all kinds of crazy shit from me.
Of course I have certain things that are very popular and I need to do more often too, but it's okay.
I'm a bit lucky though because I know many of my customers and they are often into gore/horror, something I LOVE to do but don't like on my own dolls.
On top of that they have dolls I would never buy but can still look and customize through commissions.

Have to say though, this started when I mostly got bigger commissions, as in, not just a face-up but a whole package (moddings, airbrushing, scars, tattoos, face-up for one doll).
The "just face-up" commissions tend to be pretty tame, but I rarely do them.
>>
>>5403118
Not only does she keep the dolls, she goes WEEKS or longer without any contact whatsoever. Apparently checking in once in a while to let people know you are taking care of their property is too much. She has to make friends do it for her.
>>
>>5402226
Aww.
Is Hermann the bug's name?
>>
>>5403003
It's funny, because Kayke's schtick is that she went through ~art school~ and all that jazz and is so far in debt with student loans for it.

...Yet she keeps buying dolls and runs from responsibility. What kind of pansy-ass art school did she go to?, because her reactions to concrit are incredibly DA-tier.

>>5402777
IIRC, she took preorders at BJDC for Coffee too, which is a con catered the old lady fashion doll demographic of the BJD scene. Yeah, most of the people publicly going on about how they preordered Coffee are her friends, which will probably be more 'understanding' since they put up with her shit on a normal basis.

>>5402821
>wah my feelings are hurt on 4chan, pity me
TBF, it's her attitude. She's just like, ~OMG I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS~ with her dolls and makes a big fucking deal about it. Makes me think she's trying to compensate for something and garner attention to how ~not racist she is~.
>>
>>5403144
I don't get why she's unable to just fucking stop this whole bullshit.
Yes, being sick sucks, I get that.
However, people don't owe you anything after they gave you money and their doll, you owe them something.
Should they show a bit of patience? Yes.
But there are limits.

Instead of whining that people are mean for expecting their commission done in a timely manner, and when this is not possible at least proper communication, she should just stop taking them.

If she's too sick to take care of anything else but herself she should accept that.
Don't expect others to deal with your illness, deal with it yourself and don't bite off more than you can chew.
It's not like she all of a sudden went from healthy to "got hit by a car and I'm a cripple now".
>>
>>5403228
adding to that, if commissions are her only income she needs to limit that too.
Commissions AND making a doll and taking pre-orders for it are too much.
If you need commissions as income keep it to commissions, all other resources should go to your health in such a case.

She just has zero clue about how to deal with things like an adult.
And of course KaseyR/Steviemcface agrees with her.
Customers ARE dicks sometimes but you also need to understand that they are customers, not friends.
If you can gladly hold open your hand to take their money you should at least do your part of the deal too.
>>
>>5403226
She used to be a serious racist, so yeah it is overcompensation. Your typical fat, white trash from the south kind of racist. Nothing too unusual if you're from the south, but tl;dr she got called out and has been trying to repent and hide her past ever since.

>>5403228
>>5403244
It's frustrating to watch her (attempt to) function. It's even more frustrating that she's surrounded by people who encourage her behavior. I get mad for the people whose shit she has on their behalf, but I can't really do anything about it since it's not my doll/my business.

>>
>>5403362

I know it's weird to be worried about what people think all the time. I was just paranoid that people would be able to tell it was real fur from photos and might mob me or something. It takes so little to turn the people in this hobby against you if your not popular or an 'artist'.

People are dumb fucks about the shearing process. I know a lot of mass farms do the full meat processing and will do the wool only as a byproduct, but most smaller places that specialize only in mohair or wool or locks obviously want to keep their animals healthy. Even just practicality wise it costs more to constantly replace animals than to just keep one in good shape and give it occasional haircuts. I used to have people flip out when I worked at a living history place and would do wool spinning and carding demos, and that was with our own sheep on site and visible from the window right next to me.

Making it yourself is cheap (if you have a fabric/fashion district in your city or are willing to learn the dark art of couponing). You don't need a sewing machine (they get in the way honestly) since you're working on such a small scale. Just googling yosd pattern gives you a bunch of results, and there's some Russian site with a bunch of doll pattern books. I think I might have downloaded a few of them, so if you're actually up to sew for her doll, I can try finding them.

Not too comprehensive, but it'll at least give you an idea of how to go through taobao.

Sewing is also an option, but some people (myself included) find sewing for YoSDs so much harder because of the size.
>>
>>5406750
You can also find some stuff on Etsy, and might even be able to find it being shipped from within Canada, but its gonna be a little more than Taobao would. Still gives you another option if you can't figure out Taobao though.

>>
>>5407429
>>5407451

Thank you senpai
Good advice, I've already been saving photos from fashion sites for ideas.

What I really need is advice on a specific outfit. I have this nice muted blue tartan I want to make into a fuku, but I'm not really sure about the overall color scheme. I was thinking a black blouse, tartan skirt/collar/cuffs, and maybe blue for the bias tape trim?

What do you think? Does that sound like shit? Should I go with a white blouse? I'm open to any suggestions, I have no idea what I'm doing here.
>>
>>5407463
Usually in real life you see white tops with non-black fuku skirts and black tops only when the skirt is black. I don't think I have seen the combination of non-black skirt and black top before. You don't have to be limited by reality though, and I like the idea of black or maybe dark gray top with the blue trim.

But if you wanted it to be a more recreational outfit and not just a school uniform I also think that the plaid skirt with a black sleeveless top could have a fun look.
>>
>>5407473
I'm aiming to make a deliberately fetishy anime schoolgirl outfit here, so aesthetic is way more important than realism. Dark grey top is a neat idea, I'd already been thinking dark grey stockings. I guess I'll try roughing out a sketch with different colors.
>>
>>5407478
Alright give me some brutal feedback /toy/. I know absolutely nothing about fashion design.
It doesn't look like black trim will have enough contrast to me.
>>
>>5407517
I'd go for E anon, it's classic and looks less like try-hard Ita fashion.

Also that blue tartan fabric is lovely.
Maybe you can give her a hat with it too? These cute sailor hats?
>>
>>5407556
Thanks for the feedback. To be honest I'm not nearly familiar enough with this stuff to know what try-hard would even look like hahaha

I'm not sure I'll actually be able to find tiny blue ribbon in the right color for the trim, so I may end up faking it with a satin stitch or something (this is for 1/6 scale). Or maybe it'll look too busy with trim and I'll just skip it. My model is SUPPOSED to arrive tomorrow, so I'll be able to judge better then.

Yeah I really lucked out finding this stuff (I hope I don't regret buying only half a yard). I have the hardest time finding nice tartans. It always pays to dig through the red-tag section at Joanns. I also picked up a grey and navy striped knit to make some cute thigh-highs (couldn't find a nice dark grey that I'll be using with this outfit though)

Do you mean this kind of sailor hat? http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/OOkAAOSw0e9UuSHq/s-l300.jpg Yeah, I could probably do that.
>>
>>5407517
i would go for the black top anon, i dunno what the other anon is talking about but white to me looks just too weeby, like bad school girl cosplay at an anime convention. the black looks less obvious.
>>
>>5407618
I am actually going for a weeby look, this is the first of (hopefully) several gag outfits I'm giving a figure. Maybe I'll just sew one of each. The skirt and bow can go with either one.
>>
>>5407618
White top is the classic, normal look.
Black with dark blue is usually the "this character is some hard bitch" look.
However, maybe just make two tops anon? That way you can easily switch.

Also I tried to find a picture of the type of hat I mean but fuck, no luck. I have a very cleary picture in mind but can't find a photo.
>>
>>5407416
I'm willing. If you don't dress yourself fashionably, it can be very hard to shop for your dolls and make them look nice.
>>
>>5407698
>>5407517
Whoops I didn't scroll down far enough before replying. I throw my vote in for both C and E. C has a non-typical color scheme, which makes it very anime/VN-ish, which for dolls is very cool. E is a more realistic look, but still very cool and unique.

I love the idea of the blue trim on the sleeves and skirt.

How can I smooth out clothes? Should I just put it under a book or something?
>>
>>5407985
If you've got a small (1/2'' or smaller, or one of the travel-size) flat irons, put it on the lowest setting and iron away. If it isn't delicate fabric, feel free to increase the heat.

Alternatively, use a real clothing iron.

Also, washing the clothes gently then laying flat to dry on a towel works for removing stubborn wrinkles that won't stay smooth after ironing.
>>
>>5407517
i think plaid seifukus always look kind of bad...i'd save that fabric for a cute trench coat and hat set or something.
still ur ahead of me on the basis that you can actually sew

Most hospitals inventory and ask you to remove your jewellery upon admission. Especially expensive pieces. They don't want to be liable if it's stolen or "goes missing" during your stay.

If it's something you can't remove (fresh earrings, nose stud, whatever), they tape over it so it won't "fall out" during procedures. But things like bangles, necklaces, etc. are removed upon admission, because if there's an emergency, they can't remove it for you, and they don't want to get into shit if you lose it.

So. TL;DR: she's very probably bullshitting, or else on some kind of out-patient treatment regimen at most.

I know when my mom went through chemo, her room looked a bit like a spa suit instead of a regular hospital room and they didn't require her to remove jewellery, as an example.
>>
>>5409411
im gonna call bullshit on her.

>>

>>
>>5409454
Agreed. I also don't think hospitals allow you to bring your own bedding, and that blanket looks distinctly not-hospital like (you know what I mean? They always have those heated chunky-knit things with the name printed all over it).
>>
>>5409479
Sometimes they do allow your own bedding, but onyl in cases where its not an infection risk.
Like, i was in for observation, and had my special blanket with me. But when in for surgery, i wasnt allowed to have it.

Their quality is fine, they're just kind of an odd style for some people I guess. They were pretty popular for a while there, especially when Val Zeiter or whatever was doing those exclusive sets for Haute Doll. I remember desperately wanting a vampire Goldie.

If I'm not mistaken, BOTH of those are modded ears and not the ones the dolls come with, there's only one elf-eared DD that was sold that way and she doesn't have ears that droop at all. You can probably commission someone for ears like that on a doll of your choosing.

Black trim doesn't look bad for contrast, there was a Volks set with a blue plaid skirt and black trim on it; the shirt was white though. I own that set and have had my doll wear a black button-up shirt with the skirt and it looked cute, but if the entire blazer/jacket had been black that might be a little overbearing.

>>5407701
>>5409912
Ribbon was on sale, so I picked up the blue and a light grey I hadn't considered as trim (if I went that route I'd have to do pale grey socks as well). The 1/8" black had a weird, ugly texture so I skipped it. I'm leaning towards the blue, but I was worried it would be too intense to go with the more muted tartan. What do you guys think?

My sewing machine broke while I was sewing some kneesocks (not to go with this outfit though), so this might have put a halt to my plans. I could hand sew some of it, but machine topstitching looks much better.
>>
>>5410079
That blue ribbon should be reserved for cheerleading ribbons and nothing else.

Just a note about machine sewing- you might actually fuck it up using a machine. Doll pieces are small as fuck and can easily get eaten (what's the actual word for this?) by the machine.
>>
>>5410079
I actually found something that is close-ish to what I have in mind.

Basically the round base at the bottom with a bigger part on top that should be flattened a bit more and to one side.
And it should be placed on the head like here on the right:
http://i.imgur.com/tKMUN2P.jpg

....does that make sense?
>>
>>5410172
Hahaha, well put. I was really hoping to find a more muted blue ribbon but that's probably an unrealistic expectation.

Eaten by the feed dogs you mean? Yeah, I tend to work really tiny and know that pain well. Sewing with a narrow topstitching foot and leaving some extra fabric at the top and bottom helps. Some tear-away stabilizer can also a lifesaver for this kind of thing.

>>5410194
I sort of get it? I feel like I'd need a lot more reference to go sewing one though.

Are those freckles on that doll on the right? That's a nice faceup.
>>
>>5409916
No thanks. I had a Gretel with those ears and I always hated them. Theyre unevenly sculpted and don't fit flush. Besides, they arent the long thin ear shape I want.
>>
>>5409237
I am curious as well. Those dresses are damned gorgeous.

>>5409906
Volks has released two elf-eared DDs (at least)-- Melty and Kirika
>>
>>5410570
Oh, that's too bad. You can probably hire someone to make them with epoxy then, such a mod wouldn't cost more than $50 in my estimate.

>>5410788
Ah you're right, I forgot about Melty.
>>
>>5410194
I believe you're thinking of a muffin cap? That or a barrette, which is...basically a modified, one-seamed muffin cap. Super easy to make and I'm sure there are some tutorials out there for dolls, (if not, one for a person could be sized down to fit).
>>

Beret I think you mean. Barrette is a type of metal hair clip.

Since the blue turned out too vivid, I tried a piece of light grey ribbon. What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards no trim at all. I just finished hemming the skirt piece and I'm so proud of my topstitching that I'm kinda reluctant to cover it up haha

I also tried making a sloper for the blouse with that tutorial, but my model is so weird shaped that I think I'm gonna have to work from a preexisting one and modify it.

>>5411634
I looks up muffin caps and they seem more pleated/gathered than the one in that pic. It looked sort of like a beret but the band seems a lot wider. It bugs me that I don't have any idea what the name of this style of hat is.
>>
>>5411634
Nope, that isn't correct either.

That's so weird, I have such a clear picture in mind and I'm sure I've seen that type of hat a dozen times (incl. with that type of school uniform) but now they seem to have completely vanished from the internet.
Sorry plaid anon, just thought a nice accessoire might be a good idea and now we are pining over this goddamn hat.
>>
>>5412277
I kind of like it without the trim too. Though have you considered black ribbon trim? That might be cool with a slightly reflective piece of fabric.

Trying to replicate these Cobaanii shoji kits. They're pretty simple, but at 1/12 scale, I'm working with wood at the millimeter scale. Any tips for woodworking with such small pieces? Is it better to hand saw things at that size or should I stick to the precision of power tools?

No full kits that I know of, but Cobaanii makes tons of smaller kits that can be pieced together. For example, right now, this is up for preorder. It comes with the table, both zabuton chairs, and two Tatami mats.

For what it's worth, though, this version of Yori has a different faceup from the normal one, and it totally changes the way she looks. And for anyone else you wants to see.

Sorry for the potato pic, but here's the first prototype. I'm not too happy with the lattice bars, both in their appearance and how much work stripping the plywood backing takes, but there's no way my saw can cut pieces any thinner. I'll try and figure something else out.

I have some shoji paper on the way, I haven't stained it, and the sanding job on the kick board isn't great, but I'm fairly happy with it. For the twenty bucks everything cost, it's much better than the Cobaanii kits at least. I also made a base board that will fit 8 of those Pinktank tatami mats and fits right in a Detolf to attach these to.
>>
>>5416459
Personally I wouldn't bother with real shoji paper at that scale. Normal copy paper, or off-white if you prefer that look, would be better.

I haven't heard of any doll company exchanging shoes because you bought the wrong size, unfortunately.

That's what I figured. I've heard of ways to make shoes temporarily wider, would there be any way to try to make it longer? Measuring again it's only a one cm difference.

On the bright side my doll's even prettier in person and seems really well made.
>>
>>5418273
Post pics.

You can try to stretch shoes by filling a baggie with water and putting that in the shoe. Then put the shoe, stuffed with the water baggie, in the freezer. Leave it there for a few days and see if the shoes stretched at all.

Alternatively, buy a doll with feet small enough for the shoes. Protip: This is what you'll end up doing.

This doesn't really solve your problem the way you want to, but alternatively if you're the kind of person who thinks they'll be buying a lot of shoes for your doll in the future, you can do what I did and buy feet in different sizes so that you won't ever have sizing issues again.

Because yeah, sellers aren't going to let you exchange them, and depending on the shoes, altering them or stretching them out might hurt their ability to let your doll stand.

isnt 1-2 cm a pretty big difference considering their feet are only a few cm long?

She's the elf body from dollstown so I don't think I'll be able to swap out the feet. Any smaller might make it harder for her to stand.

I'll have to see about selling them, and if I don't have any luck I'll try to stretch them out. Thanks for the advice.

Hers are 6.5 cm, but yeah you're right.

And get a cosplayer to hold the whole pile haha.

I personally think it'll look weird at 1/12 scale, too thick and the texture will be huge.

I actually don't dislike this, it actually looks male while still being anime-style.

I think this is the right place to ask
I have an inkjet printer
What decal paper should I use to make eye decals for 1/6 doll heads?
>>

>inkjet

Does that even work? You need some sort of system that deposes water-resistant colour to make decals after all.

the first DD also looked derpy.
It's going to take a few year to refine the sculpts and face-up.

I love your redhead, he makes a great girly boy, but his chin looks kind of bad from that angle.
