1/6 would be great for the detail, but crazy dynamic poses are a lot tougher at that scale whereas a 6" fig with a stand could do way more exciting stuff without fear of taking a $200+ dive.

There are a few different Akira figures. I think the best out there is probably the Macfarlane line done years ago. The bike is awesome... It was a shame they couldn't get the proper licencing for the stickers.
