Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'

>What are your figma-related hopes for next year 2016?
My pipe dream is that the announcement of Strike Witches season 3 will show that it follows a group other than the 501st, so we get nendos and figmas of a whole other wing. I don't want to need to start getting statues.
>What are your figma-related hopes for next year 2016?
I'm hoping for Syaoran to be made into a figma, any costume will do!
I wanna see prototypes of the MKR girls, ZSS and DMG next month on Winter Wonfes.
I just don't get it, Chris's gear weaponry already a copy from Kos-Mos heavy guns, it should be dead simple to make her, and if interest was dead it wouldn't have 2 additional series with even more characters, could've easily done a re-release of hibiki and rake in the dough.
You can't keep that ass mold hostage forever!!
>hopes for 2016
out of those that were announced:
out of those that might happen:
out of those that I think can maaaaaybe happen:
the rest of my wishlist will never happen
>What are your figma-related hopes for next year 2016?
I have a couple of 1/12 katanas lying around, I'd rather modify one of them than pay stupid money for a GSC exclusive
so far there has been only one time when I was tempted by a GSC bonus: Satsuki... and in the end I didn't buy even the regular release
what I'm saying is that GSC would have to try very hard to make me pay extra
>Still no Femto release date
>Maybe they'll announce his release this Winter WF seeing the Berserk anime to getting some interest.
Yeah, I'm hopping for an announcement for this comming Wonfes and the new Berserk anime on the works
Black Swordman Guts reissue (because new anime)
Black Magician Girl
IM@S CG Anastasia
And of course, NO MORE online exclusive bonuses bullshit
>tfw no figma Jackie Chan (Jackie Chan Adventures ver.) with pic related face

Angela Balzac and I am on my knees praying for a Chinatsu figma or any Yuru Yuri figma desu
I want to start a strike witches collection but I heard that it's a huge hit and miss with all of them
Finish the Vividred characters so I don't have just 2 all by themselves.
More Bikini figmas.
>Shilling exclusive bonuses tactics by Good Goy Company/Max Faggotry
I think it's the fact that GSC won't drop the exclusive platform anytime soon even though that was what Figmoe wished for.
Shit sucks but I doubt they would drop it if they can squeak out sales from taking some accessory or face that a collector would go mad for on their store.
Stating a fact is shilling. Sure, mate. The fact is that not only they won't drop it, but it will become the norm (if it already isn't - I don't follow every figma release). Bandai is doing the same, though their version is even worse, as their exclusive figures and kits don't have a regular versions.
I'm ordering a Ninja Slayer pre owned off ami ami and I'm wondering if anyone has any experiencing ordering pre owned items. Did you get all the supposed contents and was the figure in decent condition?
Also what's the usual shipping charge to the U.S.? I've never ordered from ami ami, but their prices are awesome.
They usually go by grade in condition like A and B but usually those are near prestine in condition and everything is in box. Condition wise a lot of my AmiAmi pre owned Figmas came in really good condition.
It's not too bad but it varies by what shipping option you go for. Not quite sure on the exact rate for RSAL-EMS though for a single Figma since I usually go by monthly packages with other orders.
Just expect a lot of paper from time to time.
I would personally go for RSAL just for the tracking number for piece of mind but it works. If you're in the US it should take a few weeks.
At best, the fastest I've gotten was 2 weeks.
>Got Hibiki at release
>One of the horns broke off a few weeks later
>Pinvise/superglue that shit into place, everything's heiki hecchara
>Fiddling with her a few weeks ago to change her faceplate
>Haven't fiddled with her in a while so I forgot where exactly the front hair on her comes off
>Accidentally break off the other horn while trying to remove the face
I think SHF would be better for the Geahs anyways, despite their history with animu faces. Bandai would throw in more accessories, that's for sure.
So it seems like GSC/MF starts the new year by giving us a "FUCK YOU!". Remember that figma kiddie Link? This is how they're going to jew us:
1. Bare-bone regular release; comes with his sword & shield and only one interchangeable faceplate: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/198376#tab/official/date/8/1
2. DX "Regular" Edition release; comes with..... see for yourself: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/386687#tab/official/date/8/1
I'm officially done with figma.
FUCK YOU BACK GSC/MF!
It is, like GSO Shop Full Jew Price type of exclusive. And why not make ALL his signature accessories as exclusive? Be glad that the regular edition comes with the sword & shield, and oh..... 1 optional face plate! How fucking generous, for 4,500+ yen.
I'm OK with this. I liked the sculpt but I lost interest a bit when I saw it painted, so this stupid bullshit just made up my mind that I'm not gonna bother getting it at all.
>only widening the gap between poorfags and people with a job
GSC's online flat rate of 2000 yen shipping. That's usually what turns people off. Personally I find this bullshit because this is gonna be one of those popular releases they'll re release 30 times and they know that, yet they choose to make the DX version exclusive.
LOL! Next up: figma Zero Suit Samus; regular ver. comes with B size boobs part, exclusive ver. comes with DD size boobs part. Both will cost 6000 yen & 9000 respectively, due to advanced ass & tits tech.
Fucking right. These clowns at GSC/MF sure know how to piss off a fan base. I hate seeing how there prices are steadily rising and as far as I know this is the biggest "exclusive" jewing yet.
You guys think they might be doing this because they are tired of everyone going to other sites for POs and kinds forcing us into the GSC site?
On the other hand there are many other figmas that came with less and cost more.
Personally I think kid link shows a lot of character and can't wait to have all those goodies.
As a connoisseur of ginormous tits(read: boobs bigger than the head) I would gladly pay any amount for a "DX" version of her if such thing exist.
Kidding aside, I can't think of any accessory they can make as a GSC exclusive, maybe a small baby metroid in a capsule perhaps?
Does the DX version includes the sword and the shield?
There's GSC's flat shipping rate (and you just *know* that an EMS package is gonna get caught by customs), and for some overseas figya collectors the exchange rates of yen and dollar are pretty fucking brutal right now, too. So, you can easily be a poorfag collector while having a normal job.
I'd like that. Nice smaller boobs and more money stays in my pocket.
>Does the DX version includes the sword and the shield?
No, you have to buy the regular ver. just for the sword, shield, & a face plate. To get the other half of stuffs and complete the set, you need the other DX ver as well. :p
We can bitch all we want in this board and there's not a damn thing you could do about it! Suck it! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I'm confused, can someone clear this up for me?
What's so bad about ordering from GSC?
Yes you have the 2000 jpy shipping fee...
But it would be, what, maybe 1200 yen less on Amiami?
So what, you save like 10 bucks, but you miss out on all these fucking cool items.
Plus, if you just preorder multiple things from Goodsmile, then you win out. If one gets delayed they will still ship your items out on time. So if you buy 2 things and the shipping is 2000 jpy itll really only be 1000 jpy per item.
Pre-order starts TOMORROW (8th; GMT+9), so whatever beef you guys have with this, sort it out by then..... or not.
I really like this one and my main problem with SS Link was the lack of accessories so I just might take the overpriced exclusive. Still think it's bullshit making multiple accessories exclusive their shop when most of these were essential to a regular release.
I'm sorry but are you GSC? No? Then you clearly don't understand why this is a genius marketing move to keep unappreciative gaijins out who asked for replacements because they 'lost' a part like the hamhand poorfags they are.
I was completely unsure going into it, when I ordered Megaman and Kirby together.
This is from the email I got last night:
"In the event that the items in your order have multiple release dates, payment will be processed and items sent as they become in stock. All additional shipping fees associated with splitting your order into multiple shipments will be covered by GSC."
I then got a invoice for 2000 shipping for my Megaman. So, I ASSUME that the Kirby will have 0 shipping...? I'll have to see, but that is what they said in this e-mail I believe...
Not sure how it works exactly though but yep.
Buttfucking costumers is not marketing genius. They will squeeze some money out of few costumers, but the regular version will most likely under perform.
The original sold well enough an was reissued plenty of times because it was the only option, here people will avoid the barebones version like the plague and not necessarily be willing to pay extra for what should've been the basic version.
This only damages their image. Before you would never expect multiple integral items to be jewed into their store now you will be second guessing every announcement. They went to far thinking this shit is alright.
Next thing you know and you'll have to use GSC site to get a second faceplate and alt hands at all.
/v/ loves the dlc stragery of selling games so maybe there will be a season pass for /v/-kuns to buy and get exclusive add-on bundles increasing the value of the barebones link later on.
It's fine, anon. I hope you can justify paying twice as much as you'd do for a high quality scale in a few months. Soon a simple figma with a handful of accessories for 26,000 JPY. What a time to be alive! GSC can do no wrong!
>Why does Miho have an eye patch? Is she Punished Nishizumi?
I liked how she looked with the patch, maybe I will try to make her one to looks like a special eye visor
>Why is cute fluff a gorilla?
IDK, maybe is a reference to one of the characters in the latest MGS Game as Miho kind of looks like Big Boss, but don't quote me on that
Damn!, I'm glad that I'm not a big fan of Zelda games or I would be really pissed
But nonetheless this is a good example of the fucking jewtactics I have been complaining about lately, I knoe that many don't give a fuck about Link or this version of Link, but just imagine if MF announces a character that you really want and they do this again, way to shit on consumers IMHO
The main point is GSC's tactic of coercing you of buy from their online shop for full price + EMS shipping, whereas you usually can get the same figure in Amico with discount (cheaper) and you can choose the type of shipping that you like as anon in >>5387237 have pointed out
It's not really an "argument" when all of you unemployed poorfags are making it pretty clear that you're upset that your welfare checks can't go towards your toys. The retail difference between the releases is less than $9, and if that breaks the bank for you maybe it's time you start looking into buying Hasbro shit or something.
They did this shit with Iron Man like, two years ago and you didn't care because he isn't a /v/ meme character.
They've been doing this Jewish bullshit for a while now. Link isn't the first one.
True, but the fact that it isn't the first time doesn't make it less disappointing.
Also, do I understand well that DX Link doesn't come with the sword and the shield? If yes, then that makes it three times more assholeish, since it basically means that you should buy two Links. You sure as hell didn't have to do that with Iron Man.
>I'm officially done with figma.
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why Figmas have exclusive parts so much more consistently compared to Nendoroids? Does the Nendo target audience just not care about exclusives compared to the more 'serious' Figma collectors?
>Also, do I understand well that DX Link doesn't come with the sword and the shield?
>Believing this bullshit
Just how gullible can someone be?
It is starting to get out of hand with some of these Japanese toy companies, honestly.
Bandai is kind of doing the same crap with the Figuarts line. Or at least, they're doing stupid shit on occasion, like with the Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper.
There was a standard release that came with the one blaster (even though pretty much every other toy of the FO troopers came with a blaster and a pistol) for like, 5000Y, or something. But it didn't come with the shield and baton that are also prominently shown in the movie and on other figures.
You have to buy an exclusive version of the figure for an additional 2000Y just to get the shield and baton. And guess what? The exclusive version doesn't even come with the blaster that the standard version comes with.
Its just a bunch of fuckery to get you to buy special versions of figures (or) multiple versions of the same figure (or) buy exclusively through their special online shops.
And people buy figmas less often so they need to justify charging as much as possible for each release? That makes sense, especially with some of the Nendo collections I see compared to Figmas.
I was thinking (at the risk of starting an argument here) that it was because Nendoroids are geared towards more casual collectors while Figmas tend to be the more serious weebs.
>m-my happy meal toy quality accessoried aren't included
This is a bit different because they already know that link will sell in boatloads, not to mention this release has been postponed for a long time.
Iron Man is pretty popular too, yeah, but there's no way they pulled that shit in the past without getting backlash, and the crowd for link is easily 2 or 3 times bigger since even people who don't collect figs want him. Apparently they just hate oversea sales apparently.
It still seems that, for the most part, Japanese toy companies still don't give a flying fuck about filthy gaijins who collect plastic crap from the Land of the Rising Sun. I don't think that's ever going to change, at least not much.
From GSC's Facebook page:
>But to clear the air from some rumors. The DX Version is exclusive to Good Smile Company's Online Shop ONLY IN JAPAN. The DX version WILL BE AVAILABLE TO INTERNATIONAL SHOPS AND PARTNER SHOPS. So if you are in Japan, you can only order him from our online shop, outside of Japan, you can order from various international shops!
Since it's a Japanese site, no.
>The DX Version is exclusive to Good Smile Company's Online Shop ONLY IN JAPAN.
AHAHAHAHAHA! Now not even filthy gaijins can get their hands on it through their official online shop! Enjoy the mark-up proxies! Fuck yeah! Loving ow Max Faggotory fucking us in every crevices!
so the DX version comes with a bomb, hookshoot, a pot a rupee and a seashell?
it looks like it doesn't have extra faceplates right?
if that's so, well i can get that on my own so i'm not going to follow this jewery, in fact i'm trying to make a hookshot too. looks like i have to anyway
i will get the regular version, max faggotry can suck it with its DX version
>WILL BE AVAILABLE TO INTERNATIONAL SHOPS AND PARTNER SHOPS
well that's better, i hope whatever distrubuitor that gets it doesn't buttfuck me with their shipping prices to this third world shithole
oh who am i'm saying, they will
>looks like i have to anyway
No, it doesn't look like you have to, it clearly looks like you WANT to.
There IS a fucking difference.
Also, that is cool if you are trying to make your own shit. Just know that it won't look as good, but don't let that stop you.
>The DX version will also have the Sword and Shield or not?
Holy shit, this is baffling. How can you believe they will not include the fucking sword and shield on the DX version?
Yes, it includes the sword and the shield. I feel like a retard for having to write something so obvious.
Seriously, use your common sense next time.
We are talking about fucking Link, not random army builder guys like the Stormtroopers.
Releasing the regular Stormtrooper without baton and shield and the riot Stormtrooper without blaster is a dick move but makes sense. In the other hand, releasing Link without his sword and shield is beyond retarded.
>want it because shes cute
>looks like a ship
I know nothing about this series. Is it good?
Really that has only happened with the FO Sto Trooper so far. Can't think of another time it was done by them.
Like if Bandai did LoZ it probably would have been done in the same way as Fourze, Wizard, Super Mario, Mashin Chaser, etc.. They wouldn't do a DX version, the items would be their own release.
That I find that more manageable since Link could get a regular release on sites like Amiami. So you get the price a DX version would have cut from taking the figure out and would get the base figure with discounts from the usual sites. If they could get Bluefin to regular release the inventory set(s) (if the inventory sets were to be exclusives), that would be even better.
Oh, neat. I'll probably give in and get the DX figure then. Zelda items and gear just bring up too many good memories. But yeah, they're really pushing people limits on this exclusive BS. So by "tomorrow" does that mean it'll be up for preorder tonight?
I don't know about the game since I've never touched it. She's the main character of the anime and it's...alright? It was a little too much mediocre SOL for me, but some of the battle scenes were cool. If it helps, I did actually kind of want a figure of her immediately after watching the show, but that desire has kind of worn off by now. I'd still kill for any of the enemy ships.
I recently learned how easy it is to get fedex to throw out the bullshit admin fees they add on when importing a package to the UK.
Thought I'd forward the tip. Every penny counts!
I'm dumb, can you explain what is going on here?
I ordered a Revoltech figure from AmiAmi last year (my first ever Jap import) and I got charged TWENTY FUCKING QUID in fees, from Parcelforce and Customs.
I want to know how to avoid this in future.
still fucking love the design. Hopefully someone gets the hint and makes all future games look like THIS and not that gross toon link crap. This is how you fucking stylize. This, or a chibi version of this. no pumpkin heads with ape arms and muppet faces
It would be nice if the boat parts we're removable.
I'm really looking forward to the Prinz Eugen figma, I'm assuming her boat parts are removable, looks like they should be.. http://myfigurecollection.net/item/331527
Just buy any cheap generic school girl figma and swap the legs. Problem solved.
It works with fedex, just dispute the charge on the invoice and they remove it.
Parcelforce aren't having any of it, they basically told me "tough shit" when I tried it with them. And unlike fedex, PF hold the package ransom most of the time so you're forced to pay up.
Fun story though: a while back they delivered my order before sending the ransom letter so they're never getting that £40.
>It works with fedex, just dispute the charge on the invoice and they remove it.
How do I make sure Fedex handles my package? (no homo)
>Parcelforce aren't having any of it, they basically told me "tough shit" when I tried it with them.
That's what happened to me, they basically said 'pay the £13.50 fee or we're sending it back to Japan'
>And unlike fedex, PF hold the package ransom most of the time so you're forced to pay up.
Also this. Parcelforce are fucking scum.
And here things start to get interesting..
And thats not even all he comes with..
And were not even counting his pre-order bonus here.
buuuuut i dont really care about it that much really either.
>I want to know how to avoid this in future.
Never ship EMS to the UK.
RSAL pretty much always goes through the Royal Mail. If you do by chance end up getting charged, its a much lower fee.
That's good for all the US folks I guess. International shipping from Amazon and the likes is even more stupid. Costs more than usual and they charge taxes in advance. Hopefully I'll be able to find a decent alternative.
Well that is accurate because this Link doesn't have one.
Makes more sense too when you think about it. I mean, where the fuck do those Links get those fancy scabbards? They just appear.
>It will be regularly available international via retailers, Good Smile Partner Shops and the english Good Smile Online Shop.
Can none of you retards read? This is actually perfect. If every online bonus was done this way I'd be satisfied.
GSC already marks up the price with their shipping. Doing it this way makes it possible to find lower prices, and avoid customs.
If you don't like it feel free to buy the normal version.
Goodsmile's shipping isn't outrageous considering they ship EMS. I usually pay around 1800y for EMS shipping for a single figma from AmiAmi. The difference with Goodsmile is that they charge the full retail price with no discounts like the major stores do.
You clearly don't live in the UK. Customs will rape you if you order EMS.
EMS can mean another £30 added on to your order and having it take longer than airmail to finally get to you after paying the hostage fees.
Nah, because I already have the sword and shield from the previous Link
I would probably just forget this thing exists, because the regular version is barebones shit and the exclusive one costs too much for me to care. LBW Link is a little adorable bastard but MF fucked up that one.
Honestly if the standard version was >4k and the DX version wasn't exclusive I wouldn't mind this whole fiasco. Since I can probably get 1/12th scale bombs, pots and rupees elsewhere I think I'm just going to stick with the standard version. A hookshot and snail isn't worth the +$20 it'd cost for the special version
Fuck! I consider myself a /toy/ guy. I know how and where to get shit, but I couldn't find this link anywhere. Thanks a lot, anon. I know people don't like helping people around here. You're a good man.
Any good headswap for her besides Hachikuji Mayoi?
Himari bikini would be preorder day one.
Never ordered from GSC before and now they're making me sign up and I can't process the Link DX order and now it says my password is invalid. What is it with Japs and their inability to network shit on the back end?
>Nintendo fans continuing to let themselves get fucked in the ass to the continued suffering of everyone else
SHE'S BEEN DEAD
SHE'S BEEN DEAD FOR YEARS NOW
Is it wrong that this is the only Link action figure that I actually want?
>Implying it doesn't happen to everyone else now, too.
Miyafuji 1: 3333 yen, no exclusives
Miyafuji 2: 7000 yen. Comes with 2 striker units instead of 1, but the groping hand parts, which were included with the original release, are now GSC online shop exclusive.
Pyramid head is so fucking good
>mfw he has ritual sudoku action
>Dat random Roller in the background
Prime tried to make this look like suicide, but he's the actual culprit.
My only gripe with him is his shoulders. The left on mine in particular keeps falling out and looking at how the joint system there works, I have to question the engineer and his decisions behind it.
Everything else is top notch, though.
Oh, shit, you're right. I just assumed it was the same as the Shinden nendoroid that came with two sets of strikers.
So you're paying double for less than what came with the original release. Jesus. Is Japan's economy really that bad to justify this?
>he doesn't have a day's worth of work to buy the toy he wants
better start saving up your allowance
>never used TOM before
>glorious free shipping for virgin buyers
Link DX can't come soon enough, oh baby.
As in do they ship out from TOM in a reasonable period after GSC sends them out, like when say Amiami ships things out after a release? Or do they perhaps come in weeks, or months later?
>fierce deity isn't edgy
>red batman character mask facepaint and white eyes
>big nonsensical SUPER KEWL sword
>red and black gauntlets and MUSCLES
Yeah, nothing edgy about any of that.
Now wait till their figma waifu preorder opens with a "DX" version too...
I ended up getting the DX version for $50.99 with free shipping from Tokyo Otaku Mode. They even let me use the $5 welcome coupon.
I've never used this site before (mainly stick to AmiAmi, HobbySearch). Are they known to cancel orders they can't fulfill?
Just noticed this on the new figma Link: ALBW ver. page at GSO Shop International:
[Not Available in all Areas]
*Due to licensing constraints, this product will not be available for shipment to South Korea. We appreciate your understanding.
Wonder what's the deal with that.
First time ordering from the GSC shop. Will I be able to change my shipping address after I place my order? I'm leaving the nest in the next couple of weeks, and I don't know what my new apartment number will be. I still have my old home address I could use, but I'd prefer to have it shipped to my new place.
>How can I change my delivery address?
>Please log into "My Account" and add the new address to your address book, then contact customer support with the following form.
>Please note that adding the address to your address book alone will not effect your order information.
But every time I click on the link to the form, it takes me back to the home page....
Okay, so I hope I don't get too much shit for this but I plan on giving those bastards at GSC exactly what they want.
I'm going to get the DX Link.
There is no way I can pass up that much Link loot. Before you go off ranting I'm some /v/tard...nope, just a person who enjoys Zelda games. Enough to pay extra like a dumbass who feeds a bad habit.
But speaking of dumbass, this is the first time I've used the webshop and I was wondering if they charge you for the figma and the shipping up front? Or if it is like Amiami where they bill you after it is released.
It really isnt that much extra cash. It's the same price point for any other figma and he comes with more accesories than a lot of the other figures we've seen this past year.
I don't see why people are so butthurt about it. Everyone is willing to spend 50+ (Including shipping) on other figures that /toy/ circle jerks over, so what's the difference?
i think part of it is because it is a dick move from them, making cool shit exclusive from their shop. sure, it's not that much now (and it's not the first time they did this either), but the problem is that this could lead to more figures getting this kind of treatment (compared to ironman, i'm gonna bet the DX link will sell more) and with the chance of even higher prices,
in my opinion it's more the fear of what this could lead.
btw how was the reaction to ironman in the past?, was this as heated? there's also the chance this got out of control (in this general at least) because of /v/ and our own shitposters wanting to stir up shit with them,
