Finally got Carnage. Was able to snag him for 25 dollars, easily one of my favorite legends. Can't wait for the new Venom.

Only thing weird is after moving his legs a little the torso seems to be coming loose from his legs. Made him a little difficult to balance. Haven't encountered this with other legends, anyway to fix?

Actually, there is a rumor that the exclusive Namor could be a classic version that just utilizes the new head but with the Vision body.

But that's just it, MCU figures usually all have unique molds. It's the comic-based stuff that generally uses the generic bucks.

A Dirt Cheap opened recently in my home town. I looked at toys there at first and wasn't too impressed. I've gone back recently and found if i am willing to tolerate some missing BAF parts and odd swaps, i could get some good deals. I got the Target Ultron/Hulk/Vision 3 pack, minus Ultron, for $12, White Tiger with the wrong BAF parts for $10, Wasp with the correct BAF parts but a mushed box for $6.50, and a Thuderra w/o BAF for $5. From time to time there's some really bad swaps, though. I should have taken a picture of Cape Less Vision, Wrong Hulk, and The Last Capt Marvel in the aforementioned Target box. These 2 win the prize, though. On the left, Scarlet Spider has been swapped for SM 3 Green Goblin. Why leave the hands, though? The other is DC Collectables Two Face in either Chamelon or Kraven's box, no BAF parts. Soooo you swapped a $20 figure for a $25+shipping figure, nice going, dumbass. No, i'm not a dumbass for passing it up at Dirt Cheap's price ($10 i think) because all my BTAS stuff is the *old* stuff and i can't afford to replace it all with the admittedly very nice new stuff.

His head can't look upward at all. If there's a hinge on the neck, the pumpkin is limiting it pretty bad.

What don't you like about the legends one anyway? I'm really happy that it comes with two heads like the select, because then if I ever get it, I can pose one with Venom's first appearance look, and the other with the open mouth and tongue. I think Green Goblin is likely. He'd probably have the torso of the recently released Doctor Strange with new scaled arms and legs. Would probably have the pirate boots and big glove hands. Finally, his head would be new obviously.
There'd be plenty of reuse potential too considering how many Goblins there've been.

Part of my late 2015/early 2016 haul. Select Venom is amazing except for the loose ankle joints, which are problematic when he's wearing his "backpack" (too top-heavy).

But my OCD is fucking kicking in hard on that figure, because I bought him loose, and there's the teeniest, tiniest scratch on his left eye, but I'll be goddamned if I can forget it's there and not focus on it. Anyone else this sick in the head?

I know this is probably a troll question but fuck it, I'll give you a serious answer to your "serious" question.

And the answer is really quite simple. These are the best figures you can get of most of these characters for the price. No need to import, no need to wait on a figure for a month to arrive, and it's only $20. The reuse doesn't even bother me since it makes sense in the long run. Super heroes don't exactly have variety in their body types. I guess there are better options for some like Spider-Man, but again those are $50 or just in costumes I don't like. I'm an unabashed poorfag and I'd rather spend $20 on a figure that gets the job done, then save the $30 for a figure that DOESN'T have cheap and decent options.

I'll admit that not every ML figure is as good as their Spider-Men. I'll even admit some are outright garbage. There was no excuse for most of the Hulkbuster wave or the Ant-Man figure. The only waves I ever complete are the Spider-Man waves since those seem to have more effort thrown into them in both the BAFs and figures themselves. Other waves I just cherrypick or ignore all together because of what little interest I have in them and how shit the figures are. Even the best BAF cannot save an entire wave of terrible figures, such as the Hulkbuster wave.

Hell, it's the only figure a lot of these characters ever get. Some of my all-time favorites, like 08 DnA Star-Lord, Kaine, Agent Venom, Richard Rider- what the fuck else are they going to get? Looks like a similar mold to the recent ASM2 Spidey they did. I think I'm gonna have to pass on this one, I usually am an MS fan but I have the old Comic Spidey they did, the aformentioned ASM2 Spidey, and Pizza Spidey. I made a circle at the end of the web, similar to the bottom one, but make it longer so you can close it and wrap it at the bottom of the web.
Then pop out spider-man's hand, and push the peg through the loop. put hand back on his arm.
