3.75in figures have a shit load of part swap potential. For example, the 5POA Kylo Ren's small scarf/cloak bit can be placed on other figures, while the new 3.75 Jedi Knight Luke's head will fit on his body for an interesting peanut head result. Just a lot of neat stuff.

I ran through a few stores today on my lunch break and was pretty amazed by the dearth of merch that I found. Walmart had 5 Finns (surprised they had any at all), Target had nothing (and in fact looked like they were about to vacate the building), and Walgreens had three Obis. Another Walmart that happened to be in my path had a Palpatine, a Battlefront trooper (missing the small blaster), and a Zuvio.
I was tempted to pick up the Palpatine and offer it on middleman pricing in the BST, but passed.

black series OG 3.75 stormtrooper. You might be able to find one on ebay at MSRP but the most they go for is about $20 bucks.

If you're lucky you can find the black series first order stormtrooper that are walmart exclusive, but those are rare to find in the wild. Although these have loose midsection joints making them hard to stand straight up unless you modify the joint somehow.

I've already got TBS Kylo Ren, Phasma, and Trooper (as well as TR-8R Trooper), and have started buying SH Figuarts (Only have Kylo Ren right now) of what they are making of TFA so far, so that includes the above mentioned, and I honestly like them both; they're very different.

Since Figuarts probably won't have the sheer variety that TBS/Hasbro has, I'll definitely pick up TBS as a first and then wait and see if Figuarts makes the same character.

Since the redesign of the packaging, I've noticed that Black Series figures tend to have more flashing and visible points of plastic injection and venting than before. Kylo Ren was pretty bad with flashing. The first wave FO Trooper was pretty good, but the riot gear Trooper packed with Poe had really horrible hands.

I got the re-released Rey today. I'm honestly impressed with how much they fixed the face. It actually looks like her this time. Though I did have to go through a pile of them to find the best painted one. Also, is there a trick to getting BB-8 to stand still? He's rolling around everywhere.

If you have the skills to paint weather it properly, which most don't.

Revo Boba is the best articulated and most fun Boba.

Revo Boba looks good as long as you ignore the fact that he looks nothing like the movie version, proportions wise. I just look at it as a stylized figure and it doesn't bother me so much. Sort of like an anime Boba fett.

If they were reasonably priced while still being decently articulated like they used to be (not nearly as articulated as GI Joes but they don't have to be) people would be more likely to buy them.

Right now $15 is too much to justify for the 10000th Luke Skywalker.

Has the black series stuff made any improvements since the early stuff? I got a couple of the OT stormtroopers when they first came out and was really disappointed in their articulation, particularly the hips and ankles. I love the design of the first order snowtroopers and flametroopers though, so I'm wondering how much disappointment I'm setting myself up for.
