IT's more like Mattel was offering DC more money, promised all the in-roads to all major retailers, and WB dumped Hasbro.
This likely led to Hasbro courting Marvel and basically promising them free money if Toy Biz gave up the license. Since Marvel was seeking to build a studio during this time, there was no way for them to say no. Accepting a large mountain of money driven to your doorstep and the promise of money hills every other month for five years is a deal no one would deny.

I've seen her in 2-3 stores. She's shit, man, save your money. Also, her BAG item's just part of the stand, completely forgettable. Only ones from this wave to care about are Supes and Armored Bats.

Saw these at Walmart today. Armored Batman doesn't look half bad for a $20 dollar toy. Might get him next time I head up there.
