Someone was posting the toys on /co/...are you here by chance? Where are you finding these pics from? I want to see more, see what's going to be available.

I actually like these figurines from the looks of it. Reminds me of the Big Hero 6 stuff.

Tomy's doing a lot of cheap-ass articulation schemes lately, if their Sonic license work is anything to go by. They'll have decent shoulders, and that's it. Just pegs or hinges otherwise.

Picked up Judy's little cart set and the one with the lamb. Still trying to figure out which version of Nick I want to bother with. I wish they'd painted the ears on the cart Judy, but overall I like both versions. Still, I think for the amount of articulation, the price is a bit high, but it's better than, say, the Star Wars Command line was for a similar price

Just got the Judy and May pack, and while May's pretty much a statue who can only turn her head, Judy's actually got surprisingly good range of motion for a <8 dollar toy. T-crotch, but her arms move outwards as well as up and down. Nice surprise there.

I'd love a bigger, premium version of her so I could have her hold my little armory guns, but I would not be mad if this is all she gets.

Far as I can tell, two-pack Judy's the exact same mold as those other two releases, but I don't exactly have them in hand to compare, nor do I plan to. Also, careful of the sheep's eyes, I've seen some bad drift in one of the two I've seen and the one I grabbed isn't so great.

Overall, decent for the price, ball-neck on the sheep, swivel neck, swivel-hinge shoulders, t-crotch on Judy. Would have loved at least some knee joints or something a little more, but Tomy's doing alright.

Meter Maid Judy's set feels a little bit overpriced at 15, considering what you're getting, but it's not as bad as Nick's Convertible I suppose. Two weird traffic cones(that fit in the back of the vehicle), a thieving weasel, a case of 'onions' Judy, and her cart vs Nick, his car, and a parking meter. No gimmicks, just vehicles, a main figure, and an accessory(or more).

As you can see from Marvel Universe Deadpool and the Pose Skeleton (Big), 4" figures can use the vehicle, though Deadpool's knees needed to be sticking out to fit in. I'm honestly tempted to get the cruiser as well at this point, but I'll wait to see if there's anything more interesting.

Also of note, I really wish they'd given these figures knee joints, it's weird having them sit down and just have both legs sticking straight out.

Lastly, a comparison of the two Judy molds we've gotten so far. I love that they put as much effort into Meter Maid Judy as they did, but there's a few small odd things about her that puts the other mold above it.

For one, no paint in the ears. Given that the ears are an entirely separate piece from the rest of her head, I'd have liked them to be painted like the other Judy figures. For another, they got a bit sloppy on the fur sculpt around her chin, it's just gouged marks for whatever reason.

Another thing that I wish they'd done for the Judy figures is put the ears on ball-joints, which I might end up doing should I get the cruiser. That would allow her ears to swivel as well as rotate down for her hat to be put on, making it a much more expressive, toyetic figure.

Still, it's not bad, especially for a Disney line involving not-humans.
>>
>>5401506
Pretty cute. Thanks for showing them! I'm on the fence about getting any toys for now, they're cute but I'm not quite sure what I'd do with them.

>>5401466
Are those the Lil Woodzeez or whatever playsets, those ones that are a cheap alternative to Calico Critters? How do the Zootopia toys scale in there? (And how do they scale compared to a 3.75" toy, too?)
>>
>>5401588
Indeed they are the Li'l Woodzeez playsets, the one on the left being a new one, the Nursery(about 13 bucks) the one on the right being a general doctor's office/dentist office(about 20). I use them as 1/18 buildings/dioramas, so they'd be fine for the shorter 3.75" figures. I've got one of the Woodzeez somewhere, if I track him down, I'll take some comparison shots between him, Judy, and a few other figures.

As for what you'd do with them, depends. They're not well articulated, but I'm planning on shuffling them in with my Sonic figures for now.
>>
>>5401495
Shit I just want it for the vehicle almost.
>>
>>5402027
I like it, but at $15 bucks, it's a bit much for what's barely a 2-seater. Then again, I've been spoiled over the years by GI Joe vehicles, plus there's something about the traffic cones that's a bit off-putting, it's like they've been made out of elephant skin painted orange or something.
>>
Picked up the Police Cruiser. It's a lot more disappointing than the cart. For one, the 'transforms into jail cell' gimmick is not nearly as action-packed as the picture implied, I was hoping for some sort of spring-loaded affair. Instead, it's a two-part cell, one permanently part of the vehicle, the upper part and back of the cruiser easily separable. That's not a bad thing, as you could have it be TWO little pens if you so chose or just have the cruiser be a mini-truck.

The main disappointment though is leg-room. While there's head-room for a GI Joe, you'd have to take off their legs at the knees to get them sitting in the seat. I haven't cracked it open yet to see if the head-light gimmick really requires that much space.
>>
I've already seen these retail at Target. They're taking the old Pixar figures places.

They're tiny, like smaller than GI JOE.

I like 'em. I'd have liked bigger figures, more, but I like what we got. Kinda pissed we didn't get a figure of Chief Bogo though.
>>
>>5403880
Depends on the figure, they're scaled to each other and it's about 1/18, I think. It's not perfect, and since we don't have a human for scale there's no way to be certain, but it's not bad.
>>

>>

That doll actually looks pretty damn good. I'd buy a Judy.
>>
So given that we're missing a few main characters, what's everyone hoping for if we get a "wave 2"?
>>
>>5417615
They might do a second wave a bit after the movie's out, I don't think I've seen anything with the villain in or or whatnot. Kind of like what they did for The Force Awakens, give people a bit to see the film, then put out the other stuff.
>>
>>5417615

I'd honestly like a figure of Chief Bogo. I think we're owed at least him, the police force feels incomplete without him.
