/in a way you're right, even if it detrements what lego wants from the theme. It was supposed to be creative and people to make up their own stories but it became linear like metal gear. In a way its why konami cancelled busou shinki because it was too creative for consumers, being somewhat scary for them and ending up as a sales flop because no one wanted to invest the time in them. Oh and LMAO. One of my cities toys r us is holding back from stocking bionicle until jan 31 because they gave away $10 off any lego set worth more than $10 cards a while ago and don't want to lose money giving the protectors away for $2.

They had few temporarily stocked and i bought one for $2 the manager saw and then they pulled them from the shelves the next day.

I have about 30 of the cards too because my friend that works at toys r us hooked me up.
