Huh... original effect have some of the most tasteful, yet sexy figures I have seen (or maybe, the anon posting pics of his reborn body "paralytic face" doll is a very skilled photograph), so is a bit shocking to learn they are behind this new doll.
I mean, the sculpt looks very detailed, and I suppose the materials are as good as usual, and below all the... scars and tusks things... there is certain sex appeal... but it still looks kind of gross.
how many of you guys have dolls from these people? are they good?
what can one expect from them?
I've always thought OE's figures looked good and I've kind of liked some of their designs before, but I'm not really into sexy girl figures (I'm a dyke so it's not a lack of enthusiasm for sexy girls, just that sexy has never really been a quality that made me want something on my shelf) so I've never bought any of them. But this one is so up my alley that I think I might have to get it. It looks really good.
Ugh. If she was 1/12th instead of 1/6th, I would regardless of the price. But 1/6th is a bonerkiller.
Maaaaybe I could justify her as a giant demon goddess, like Messiah from Garo, against My 1/6th figures.
Does anyone else feel like there's some dude from OE posting here, shilling their dolls?
I really don't mind because we're a toy board but usually when someone posts official photos we tend to scream "SHILL!!!" but not with OE pictures.
Kinda like that thread with the doll with only a jacket, tits exposed.
That sound like a crazy conspirancy theory, m8, when a new figure of whatever toy line surfaces, the only pics someone have at hand to post here are the promo shots, so hardly I believe that they work for X toy company, if there was that case they were posting in-hand pics of non released figure I would totally agree with you that they are from OE, but so far it doesn't seem the case
So far I believe there are like 3 or 4 dudes that have figures form OE here on /toy/
>Kinda like that thread with the doll with only a jacket, tits exposed.
many of us, liked that thread too, it a pity that the archive isn't working anymore
I actually really wanted her and then I saw the price. $70-$100 would have been OK. This figure is $173 US DOLL HAIRS. The other figures range from $125-$155, so they jacked the price on this one considerably and it doesn't even have any accessories.
I'll just stick to the MOMOs when they come out.
All OE figures are like that cuz they chinese. It's much better to buy them from an american retailer.
OE is a chinese company. Both, BBTS and AmiAmi have to import the doll into their respective countries, and then export to any outsider. Now, I dont have the details and this merely a guess, but I think the taxes for importing something in Japan are pretty high, hence nobody suggest to buy american toys from AmiAmi, in fact, if they have good prices on figma and related is because they are on the same country.
Even so it doesn't cost the same (like $150ish) with no accessories. It costs more. Also most of that sculpting is on the head and back. It's not like she has a full set of body armor. The arm was already existent (and the ponytails as well now that I think about it) on another figure so they probably just recycled that.
They can charge whatever they want. I just won't buy the figure. $173 is way too much for just a cool looking figure.
This, that thread were great and informative
Except Hot Toys are gorgeous. I mean even if they are overpriced I've never questioned it. Like a nice car, it's supposed to be expensive.
I read several reviews of OE figures that make them seem fragile and generally hard to deal with if they have many parts. They still look nice, but I think around $100-$120 was a very solid price point for them.
Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying. Nobody else is producing toys at Hot Toys' level, yet everyone just followed in their footsteps because HT proved that people are willing to pay that much for 1/6 so they figured why the hell not, let's see if we can make them pay that much for our toys too. The other companies haven't stepped up their game at all, they just raised prices.
>Is either of these yours?
sorry but no, I find these on the web, but I have the Harp Reborn body in and and pic related
I think i could...
but sadly i dont like that scale.
im more into 6" to 7" scale.
so no, i think i wouldnt get a toy girl like that.
but maybe i could just pretend she is a giant? like a balrog?
>but maybe i could just pretend she is a giant?
even if you are a 6"/7" scalefag you can always get some of these 1/6 scale figures and pretend that they are amazonian giantess that want to have Snu-Snu with your 1/12 figures
seems like OE will made a figure based on Zhao Yihuan (who is a Chinese television actress and model)
>OE X Internet Film Group(IFG)will launch1/6 action figure for pubescence. Starring by Zhao Yihuan (Chloe), the film pubescence4 will be seen in 2015! Now we have our latest art design for you
Oh man I'm so glad I found OE, they make some of the best 12" female figures I've ever seen.
Especially that one biting her lip hnng.
And now this new one, really liking the quality/creativity behind it, we need more 12" figures like this, not fucking licensed movie shit that seems to comprise most 1/6 lines.
That really fucking sucks, here I was hoping with the risw of 3D printing we would actually see price drops soon.
And man, fucking Hot Toys, they used to make all those cool awesome military figures with a ton of weapons and gear, and the prices were just about sane for all of that, considering the sheer amount of miniature gear and accessories involved it made sense.
Now in the past few years they have completely switched over to licensed movie and TV lines and that's how they justify their ridiculous price increases, that and celebrity headsculpts.
I really hate what they have become, their licensed stuff is too expensive and too boring often for me, but all the other toy companies like Dragon, Very Hot, Sideshow have good quality and interesting militiary or scifi etc figures with lots of gear and accessories but still charge a couple dozen dollars too much in my opinion, but they feel fully justified doing so because HT is doing it with licensed shit.
Fucking Hot Toys.
Also this situation mirrors what is happening currently in the vidya industry as well.
>with the risw of 3D printing
Only thing people care about printing is guns, because no one cares about toys. Even though that have access to printing are the few elite who sell it for way too much.
Without a moments hesitation.
we really need more 12" monstergirls
Yeah tell me about it, they used to have such cool shit back in the early 2000's, would window shop like crazy imagining what I would do with the figures if I ever bought them in the future but now they just sell licensed movie stuff and remade their website and all the old images and links to their discontinued military figures are gone.
Thankfully other companies are taking up the 12" military figure mantel and I think in a few years time they will surpass Hot Toys previous military figs in quality too.
Still can't afford them anyways but, cool to look at.
another update fromm the OE guys
>KillerInstinct Vol.3 Sophia will be shipped at the end of this month!
>During these time, we made some adjustments on details. The face mould, makeup and packaging are well improved. Stay tuned!
>OExCOMICFANS cooperation product Li Luoai(a pretty LOLI in the Chinese comic of <BLOODLINE>) has finished modeling. Now our factory is busy making the solid models. The figure will be seen as early as next week!
So does /toy/ (the dozen of you who can afford them) prefer rubber/seamless joints on your 12" female figures or with joints visible?
I used to be against joints being visible and it would turn me off from the figure but now I don't care as much since its a figure and it needs articulation and the best way to do that is with joints.
But then there are few figures with rubber joints or seamless body joints w/e, and they do look quite amazing but there are concerns about the rubber cracking over time and the overall strength of the joints.
But damn, do they look amazing.
I don't know why I care though, not like I can afford any of this, but what do you think /toy/?
It certainly adds significantly to the sex appeal of the figure.
Also this one is Hot Toys from 2012 so it's probably out of production and 10x more expensive to purchase from a retailer than it was on release.
There's an interesting aesthetic appeal to it I guess, I actually like how only the hand and ankle joints are visible.
I dunno it looks nice, certainly one of the most feminine 12" figures out there, although the stuff I've seen from OE is really great too.
Just wish prices weren't so ludicrous.
>rubber cracking over time
This one of the major concerns about these figures, taking into account they costt a lot more
Some anons have said that the more recent figures are made from better materials, but without any evidence to back up that statement
Visible joints on a figure of this scale doesn't worries me to much as long as they are aesthetically well made and with a good range of articulation
But you can always get one of these seamless bodies if you want to have a photo sesion where you show a lot of skin without worring of visible joins, like pic related
still there is no date for that
On OE dolls I wouldn't worry too much at all about visible joints, like you said they seem to be made in an aesthetically pleasing way.
I'm wondering however, the seamless body, is that a separate body you can buy and you put your figures headsculpt on it and accessories/clothes and its like you have two versions of the same figure, with joints and one without?
Because that is really fucking cool, seamless body for light posing and photographing, regular jointed body for heavy posing and long sessions of photography, pretty cool idea.
For that figure especially any body type, joints visible or seamless works because hnnng factor 10000.
But yeah I am interested as well if rubber joints have gotten better or not, or if new materials were made that better withstand the stresses over long term without cracking etc.
Certainly changing to a seamless body would be better for poses with little or no clothing, and a jointed one for when clothes cover most everything already.
yeah, some companies sell basic seamless bodies like Phicem, these comes with a head, feets and some hands and a bikini set
Wow, attractive bodies, terrible headsculpts.
Except for this one.
Wow I just realized, there are probably companies that sell specialty accessories and clothing for 12" figures separate from main toy lines..
You could probably get a plain body with a headsculpt, and search for basic standard cheap clothes and accessories, maybe a weapon and gear and build your own kitbashed figure...
Hah this is why I love 12" figures, expensive but so many options and creativity potential.
>Wow, attractive bodies, terrible headsculpts.
yeah, they have more decent head sculpt in the most recent figures
>Wow I just realized, there are probably companies that sell specialty accessories and clothing for 12" figures separate from main toy lines..
Some form the top of my head
Blue Box toys
I believe ebay is where one can find some of items for a reasonable price
Proper awesome list.
Dollsfigure looks like they have the most non-military figures/headsculpts/accessories that I've seen so far.
Lots of great military accessories from the other companies too, many loose, could probably find them for slightly lower prices on ebay you're right.
Cyber Hobby had some very cool stuff, pic related.
Neat, and regarding Phicen, slow site but I found this semi-decent female sculpt there.
Great figure bodies/accessories though on all of them.
Also these awesome female honor guard figures.
Good headsculpts and prices too.
these looks really good, I find curious that Phicen is making a Shi figure, they still remember this comic character from the 90's
also these guys of Damtoys seems to have some nice figures too
Woah, never heard of them before, and they have some really cool figures on their site.
I quite like this semi-futuristic special ops one. All the figures look like they are of decent quality.
It's good to see a bunch of companies taking over Hot Toys' military mantel, let them stick with their super expensive licensed stuff, these guys are doing some awesome stuff instead.
That Shi looks nice too.
They don't have too large a selection though, but it looks like its quality > quantity in this case.
Also an NBC figure from Gulf War
Wow that face is clearly modeled on Zhang Ziyi.
I like it.
Many thanks for translating anon, was curious.
So I was browsing one of their sites and saw this pic-
Immediately recognized the figure in orange second from right as a figure I saw a few pics of awhile ago but never could find out where it was from, of course it makes sense its an OE figure, looks so damn cool, reminds me of Velma in a way, but like action packed Velma.
I'm currently trying to navigate my way through the lunar runes to find the product page for that figure so I can see more cool pics of that one and others.
You can check the promo pics of her in the amiami page
and you can order her from the BBTS site (which is one of the cheapest place you could get her)
Nice, really nice figure, too expensive for me but it's a nice one, often time just seeing some nice quality large pics of a super expensive figure that I'll never have is enough satisfaction lol, and wow that page is perfect for that - 20 images, all large and high quality, really nice.
Meh, looks fine to me, kinda like shes calculating her next move or battle strategy. Slightly aloof, I don't know.shop xxpan
What the fuck, I didn't type that...
But srsly, how the fuck did that get added to my post. Maybe something with captcha I don't know.
Umm.. uhh ALL HAIL THE PLA
CHINA WILL GROW LARGER
I FOR ONE WELCOME OUR CHINESE OVERLORDS
Just found this on ami-ami, god that looks so fucking cool, I love the stuff OE does.
Also I fucking love helmets, and this figure is helmets/gasmask galore.
>but her face really bothers me...it looks really dead and lifeless
Have you checked the RWBY dolls that these guys from ThreeZero are making?
these are really have a lifeless face
She looks really cool and I like the outfit/accessories she came with, also that she slightly reminds of Velma is cool too
Her face looks fine to me, (her movable eyes add an addicional range of expression) but it would be really cool that in future figs they begin to do adiccional faces plates, like figmas or similar figures
I'm not too fond of her haircut, but she really have a cool design and comes with a good amount of accessories
>Dat nightmare fuel face
that face gives me goosebumps, she looks like these kind of cosplayerss that uses a similar kind of anime-looking mask over their face (can't remember how these are called)
Additional face plates would be cool but would result in either less defind and detailed face sculpts, or higher prices for the whole fig because three additional highly detailed face sculpts with different expressions etc..
Though maybe it could work for a company like OE and less so for Hot Toys say. Would be pretty cool to see.
I rather like her hair here, and the face sculpt looks really nice too, of course, so does that helmet.
>these kind of cosplayerss that uses a similar kind of anime-looking mask over their face
Oh god I know what you are talking about, I've seen pics, really unsettling and creepy, much more creepier than that RWBY figure even, in my opinion.
>Additional face plates would be cool but would result in either less defind and detailed face sculpts, or higher prices for the whole fig because three additional highly detailed face sculpts with different expressions etc..
fair point, this could increase the final cost of any given figure
>I know what you are talking about, I've seen pics, really unsettling and creepy
Yeah, Nightmare fuel material
>OE x the Proprietor of Qin's Moon have made cooperation agreement to develop action figures for the 3D Wuxia animation"The Legend of Qin "(wiki:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qin%27s_Moon). The first product will be a a gentle and beautiful legendary girl"Xue" .
>The design and development are in progress. So stay tuned!
some 1/6 mahou shojo figures would be neat IMO
>Co-presented by OE x BLOODLINE, supervised by original author IO, the latest 1/6 action figure Lilo·I makes its debut! With movable eyes, rotatable twin tails, white dress and greatsword.
>Bloodline (血族) a Manhua made and first released in 2009. A huge dark fantasy story involving battles between vampires and Church forces.
>The series is written by Ai Ou (artist/author of Infinity Game) and drawn by Su
>In the story, there is a group of vampires part of a family known as the "Bloodline clan", which is capable to turning human beings into vampires. Humans can easily gain such powers by writing an envelope with three large 6's and final wish inside. But it's important to not abuse them or otherwise the deal is off and the dealers would be eaten instead.
>It chronologically begins with a war that started long ago between vampires and a Church-like organization known as the Shengdi (圣地 "Holy Land"). One of the veterans from the continuous war is Last, who is now one of the few vampires of "Bloodline" and his daughter, Lilo I.
>She had a dream of living a human life one birthday after living for nearly 500 years and Last hoped to make such a thing happen. Too bad such a dream is becoming hard to realize. Especially when she has the Shengdi trying to kill her and anyone else who tries to help. When several incidents occur with the Shengdi that results in Last's disappearance along with her friends and servants.
>For three years, Lilo wanders alone with her companions missing. She recruits the young vampire hunter wannabe Ye Ren and Cute Ghost Girl Ye Lai, who are preparing to contract with her. After a fateful and bloody encounter with the Shengdi forces targeting Ye Lai, Lilo saves and recruits Ye Ren as her servant. Tired of running and determined to find her father and her place in society, she and her new allies prepare to fight the Shengdi.
>This isn't the elf I asked for.
well, seem that we will have to wait a bit longer anon
What the hell happen!
OE showed some in-hand pics of the final product of Sophia announcing that she was on her way to the people that were getting her, but the face of the figure looked really awful, so people beging to complain for obvious reasons
This was the responce by the OE guys:
>On the issue of Sophia’s head, OE formally put forward our solutions.
>We had some intense discussions on issues that Sophia’s head being different from official publicity photos and we are terribly sorry for letting you down.
>As a gesture of our regret and sincerity, we promise to do the following things.
>1 Investigate and reorganize supervisory mechanism of every process details from product sample to shipment. We won't let down the expectations of originators and players any more. (Yes, we should have done this earlier.)
>2 We will re-make Sophia's head (not including the hair) and it would be handed over at no charge to players who already bought Sophia.
>3 The further information on the re-make will be updated in this post. We welcome you to pay attention to this post to check if the new head meet the standards.
>continues on the next post
>How to get the head_
>We will distribute the head to every merchants in exactly the number or amount. Please contact shops where you bought the product after 5 working days. (We will give advance notice to the shops in the 5 working days.)
>The new head will finish distribution by February, 2015.
>Finally, we hereby extend our appreciation to all our customers' trust and support (Even though we already lose it, we will still take it seriously). We are also grateful for the cooperation and understanding of all our sellers.(We will do our best to ensure that this won't happen again with might and main. We must apologize for the inconvenience.)
Well it's nice that they are acknowledging the problem and trying to fix it at least.
Seems like it so often happens that the prototype sculpt and the final production version are worlds apart.
Regarding multiple faces, check out this Medicom RAH due out in 2015, looks like some companies are starting to include them like figmas do.
You posted a ps someone did to add the ban mask to him.
Actually the more I stare at them the more in love I am with those faces, especially the middle one.
Shame it's gonna be nigh on $200.
Also apparently her scarf can cover her mouth so make that 4 faces (technically).
Aaand I found another one this time of Saber.
Looks like Medicom are one of the few who are doing this with their figures, probably because its easier for multiple anime sculpts than realistic ones, still very kawhy.
and they share this pic of a new type of body for their figures, fitness body they call it
for a female body she is definitely in shape, you can see the quads and the calves (albeit really short and high up on the leg) are very defined. As well as the abdominals and obliques.
You're right she doesn't have much muscle hypertrophy but for a female body that anon isn't wrong in saying muscle girl either. However, I prefer fitness body.
Her body type is what I would say a fantasy type Perfect hip, waist, and bust ratio. A woman with that body fat percentage wouldn't have breasts like those unless they were implants.
I love it
It's definitely not on the more extreme end of the spectrum but it still looks pretty fit.
I'd love if they went full muscle girl though.
1/6 Scale Bloodline Figure - Lilo-I
>January 2015 release
>Release: 1st Quarter 2015
I believe that she will be more like an adolescent as she is a high school student as stated in her bio, Miss Cha would be a similar case IMO, whereas the others figures would be more like a full-grown women
I dont know what this is from but it makes me think of Leona from the Ikari Warriors series from SNK
Where do i get this from?
yes sir and the the Street fighter series too
Ohh man, make it happen Medicom
she is originally from final fight but yes I agree make it happen
removing those short shorts to reveal a penis on that slender body
I cant see any other way to make more money.
>What came first, the creepy gentlemen who admires children or the immortal loli?
Well now, that is really a deep question to answer
Seems like OE will be doing a statueshit of Viola for anyone who like scales
>ArmyAttractive Rebirth of Viola!28cm in height statue! An aesthetic which combines Sexy&Savage!Coming in this winter
Another update from the OE guys
>Christmas is on the way! Have you been a good child ? The embodiment of OE, Miss OE will become Xmas Girl and come to you on Christmas Eve! Also, the chics of ArmyAttractive and KillerInstinct will become lovely dolls come along with OE Xmas Girl! OE Christmas Special Statue_Christmas Girl will be available for pre-order on Christmas Eve! Stay Tuned!
This seems best suited for this thread
My dick has been shopping for me lately and I'm tempted to get one of these. Does anyone have one of these things?
The stainless steel body ones are fucking amazing. Like I don't even care about them for sexy girl purposes and they kind of vaguely creep me out but they're just really really really well-done figures. Like some of the best range of motion you've ever seen on an action figure, but still completely seamless. It's ridiculous. Only drawback is they're still a little bit prone to rips in the material like figures like that are in general, but to less of an extent than most of them, and so far I've only seen people get really small tears that aren't horribly noticible, but that may change with time.
Wow, I would have assumed the range of motion would be pretty limited. I kind of expected the tearing, I'm just concerned how soon it would start to happen.
hnnnnng, these look so good. Now if they started making these of certain porn stars, I would be throwing my money at them
