ITT: Post a picture of a toy that you think nobody else on the board owns.
Pic related. I'd be pretty surprised if someone had this. The Palisade's Muppet toys don't seem like they were widely collected, and this one was a pretty rare exclusive, as I recall. Recently sold my whole collection, but kept this one because it was my favorite.
You have ten seconds to name a toy that isn't Jackie Chan.
I also collect comics, manga and dust.
It took me YEARS of scouring ebay to find one of these guys Mint in Sealed Bag.
It may not look like much, but this guy is a relatively little known transformer Grail. This guy originally was a "Checkers" kid's meal toy, but because of shit distribution, only a few restaurants even got them. Less then a thousand of these bad boys were even made, and most of them that did ended up being junked by kids.
These ladies are caked in it. I'd also be surprised if anyone else on /toy/ had the same figs.
I had those. Made a few customs out of them.
Pic related go pretty well with them.
I found this guy in a thrift store for 2$. I have no idea what he is from if anything, but he's a 4 winged fucking baddass warrior griffon thing and he's the coolest thing I've ever gotten from a thrift store.
(He's also in scale with figmas)
i have 2 of those jackie chan adventures figures. i have a shadow ninja and a jackie in a vest who does split kicks when you press his shoulders together.
i thought i was the only person who ever had them. i got them from a fox kids competition as a kid (along with a then new PS2) and never saw them in any stores ever.
Or, if you count little beany stuffed things I have this Klayman
This glorious motherfucker. Someday, I will have a Necrosan to complete my collection. SOMEDAY.
Would be surprised if anyone else owned these guys, though.
I would be surprised if someone else on this board has one.
My entire collection PAK and a few neca, pretty sure no one else has any given all the shit this board talks about them.
Also its bright as fuck round here.
I loved the short haired chick.
I'm pretty confident nobody else has this. It was obscure when it was released and hardly anyone would want her anyway
I haven't seen anyone else with this Steve Buscemi/Mr Pink figure
Nothing special here, but probably the big Kaiju guy or the big robot?
Gotta admit I'll be surprised if anyone else has Dr. Porkchop's ship.
Got the whole gang right here man.
Although as far as I know its the only Steve Buscemi figure...
I actually gave him one of revoltech wolfwoods pistols and cigarettes just because he only came with the bag
Also, a 12" version of all of the dogs exists with real fabric clothing and stuff, they're like gi joes.
It's amazing. Has lights and sounds, Dr Porkchop and Buzz minifigures, an escape pod that launches from the cockpit and the entire thing opens up to be a kind of playset with cells and elevators.
They also made an Imaginext version that was much smaller if you don't have the space for the bigger one.
Found this in a thrift store for $2. Thought it looked like I could shove a 5inch figure in there, but I can't. Kept it around because I think it could fit 1:12 figures with some cutting here and there.
These guys are from Fisher Price as part of the Great Adventures line. IIRC they came in a 3 pack.
I have my doubts of anyone else here owning this lighthouse, let alone the mini's.
A coin machine display. from the 80's with some fun food themed robots.
I never was able to get Floyd, Zoot, Waldorf and Rowlf. I missed some of the middle waves because of the distribution shakeup gap between ToysRUs and Target and I just wasn't able to get Waldorf to go with Statler, though I do have the Muppet Christmas Carol PVC.
Looks like it's from Ghostbusters. They had a figure line that when you pressed a button or squeezed the characters, they would change. Here's a video of it: http://youtu.be/Bubol2xkPt4
The toilet is at 00:55
I'll admire Crab Nicholson forever.
Anyone have this old Robo Rider?
>tfw they actually cast the stop-motion miniatures and cut in joints to make these.
>tfw the miniatures were destroyed...
Goro and Sheeva are in personal collections. I'm not entirely sure where Motaro and Kintaro are...
This hardly counts, being a knockoff, but it's the only toy that I'm confident has any chance of no one else having.
Nothing super rare I think but probably still rare /toy/ wise because they're not from series that are popular on this board.

I regret it slightly. I bought it for 50 bucks from a local Newbury Comics back in the day. It was fun, but I needed the space and the money. I spent about $300 amassing the collection one summer, so the way I see it I have all the memories and fun I spent hunting down Muppets with my friend, and then I made $100 on top of it. Crazy that new in box, people are asking for $700 and up. I doubt anyone is paying that, though.
At least I kept my favorite.>>4339112
On the bottom it says 1995 Toy State Industrial Ltd. On the same level basically as Chap Mei/Corps. This company also did have some licensed stuff, like Caterpillar.
I didn't mention in the other post but there's buttons on the back. When you press them these lights flash for 10 seconds and there's noises. Like if you ever had a generic "laser gun" that had lights and sounds, it has those types of sounds.
There's also a button that makes the gun on the front rotate and light up.
It's also pretty easy to take apart so I'm thinking I might remove the seat and round part behind it and see if that frees up enough room for figures.
He's Shockaroach from the Creepy Crawlers action figure line by Toymax. If you like awful 90's monster designs you might wanna check out the rest of the line too. just really weird
Does the button that makes the gun rotate require a battery? Cause I have that but never knew, I've never installed batteries before.
Also I have no idea what it is but it's one of my favorite toys.
>I work with someone named Jay Decker
I told him he has his own series and now his son is into it.
saw it over here in /toy/ so I tracked it down. too bad I dont have a picture of it ( got it from google)
I also havent seen a lot of furniture. and an interocetor in people's collection ( that weird sci fi thing in the back )
fuck i forgot the picture
Spider-man 2099, missing the web cape. Came with an issue of the comic.
>Had Necrosan as a kid, specifically remember buying him over Slashfang.
>Love the shit out of him.
>Used to fight my Blizzard and Armadon figures and team up with Diablo to eat all my
>Eventually lose all his pieces and forget about him (he had a ton of tiny parts).
>Completely forget about him and Primal Rage for like 10 years.
>One day bored at work decide to look up old games from my childhood.
>Remember Primal Rage.
>Learn the story of Primal Rage 2 and just how rare those figures were.
>Lose my shit when I look up Necrosan's price on ebay.
Those toys were seriously fucking awesome as a kid, they had really cool action features and were the perfect scale with Micromachines.
This glorious 12-inch bastard.
I know there's a Seventh Voyage Dragon and Cyclops out there, been looking for them forever.
Squeeze the legs together and the bazooka fan spins.
Unproduced by lego, KOd by China.
this is the bust of Lucifer from chaos! comics.
I own the one in the right. It comes in a cool package and looks way better irl.
However...i don't think there are other people who have it.
I've had the carded versions and the fishtank set in the past.
Meh. They're a J. Scott Campbell thing- they look sexy, but the book sucked
>not to mention half of it was a fucking ripoff of a Hellboy story, so much so I wonder how no one got sued. Maxim was just Kroenen mixed with Bane
>Bruce Campbell did the foreword for the TPB edition. Why? Far as I know Bruce and J Scott aren't related, nor did Bruce have jack shit to do with the book, and I'd wager he didn't know what Danger Girl was 10 minutes before he was asked to write the foreward
I got this from a friend when I was 8 but I had no idea what it came from. Turns out I've just been too dumb all these years to look under his ass, because it says "playmobil" and I found a picture by googling "playmobil blue robot."
I've got a transforming werewolf plush, he turns into a lumberjack (like this: http://www.oafe.net/yo/wolfplu.php )
The Warriors Ajax by Mezco toys, found this fucker behind some neca terminator figures at a comic shop

Holy shit. You have my respect. The Turtle is my grail. All I have are the figmas.
Hey are you the guy who had those creepy eaglemen and the framed photo of a cat? I love seeing your pictures for some reason. Where did you get that DBZ Monkey? Also holy shit I see Mike The TV from Reboot.
I have Cosmic Aang.
Runners-up are the Animal King Portal 2 turret from Neca's blind boxes, and the blue Universe 1 Zoidberg.
Maybe the Joyride Halo 1 Master Chief also.
Before selling them both, by process of feeling the blind bags I found two of the Character Building Doctor Who 'Projected Weeping Angel' figures.
No you're not,
I swear I got one of those lip mouth dudes. The one with the orange sneakers. I don't know where he is right now or where I got him, I feel like it might've been something I got at the dentist.
So you're taking the piss because I sold the figures I found? That whole Super Rare thing was completely ridiculous anyway, just like Mr Gold, which hey I guess could have been another thing I could have posted here since I found one of those before too.
Also toys tied to a silly show is like most of /toy/ by figma threads alone.
this highly articulated figure (swiveling neck and arms) can replicate all of Steven Seagal martial arts moves!
Are you french?
Good luck. Really.
They seem to be extremely rare, I've only ever seen 1 go up for sale on the aftermarket, it was on ebay and sold for $150.
I actually was able to find mine by asking around on various toy BSTs if anyone had one, and coincidentally enough, someone here on the /toy/ BST had one and was nice enough to sell it to me (for $15).
Its only distro was as a bonus included in the first run of the Season 2 Volume 4 DVD and was exclusive to Walmart. It was a very limited run, I don't think they even produced enough to supply the entire first run of the DVDs sent to Walmart- supposedly, people who came across them when they first came out already saw the DVDs intermixed with those that didn't include the figure.
Definitely my "if your house was burning and you could grab 1 toy" figure.
Dang, I didn't know he was that exclusive. I guess I'll have to settle for the Water Spirit Avatar State version. He's a lighter color but still transparent which is what I really like
I don't think many people know about them because you can still get them here:
>Limited to 5000
The two on the left are more limited.
I have the non-mego styled Ajax from the game series that Mezco made, the game series was flimsy as fuck though, I have a couple of baseball furies, Cleon and Swan too. I want Cochise but he's impossible to find.
Mine are not the ones that glow. But yeah they did make some of this trio that does glow in the dark.
Nostalgia was the main reason I bought these again last year. I had a lot of the Fisher Price Great Adventures playsets and figures in the 90's. These guys are at the top for some of the coolest figures in the line.
And yes, it works. But need some of those old and large batteries and I have none of them around here to show it working.
I post it in every thread but my brother took a trip to China and stopped in India on the way where he found this for me. This little car was in a backpack for a week going all over China.
Turns out it's the perfect size for the Halo Megabloks
i asked about this guy one time nobody knows where its from, if you know, great
so does that mean you also don't know where its from..? damn, gotta keep looking i guess
I may have a few other figs that are pretty rare, but im not gonna post them in the middle of the night
The only other one I could think off the top of my head was some KO mugenbine toy.
Was this guy ever popular?
I only say stone because the story goes that Monkey was born from a stone egg, or rather that there was an egg shaped stone that over years the wind wore down into the shape of a monkey that then came to life
>In the novel, he is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices.
He doesn't get turned to stone, Monkey hatches from an egg made of stone. But the English translation mentions the wind shaping the stone after a bunch of years.
I literally just finished reading it a few days ago. I'd go find the excerpt if it wasn't 4 in the morning
Also, I forgot to mention that greentext is a sentence in the first paragraph on the Wikipedia page. Not that Wikipedia is a reputable source, but I'm trying to show that I didn't pull that stone egg concept out of my ass
Okay, just because it was bothering me, I found it literally in the first paragraph of the book.
>High atop a mountain, surrounded by favored earth that nourished magic fungi and wild orchids, there came to be a magic stone of immortal dimensions and properties. It was fructified by the seeds of Heaven and Earth, and by the essences of the sun and moon, until one day it was impregnated by divine inspiration, and became pregnant with a divine embryo. The embryo continues to develop in secret, until one day it burst open to reveal a stone egg. Once the egg was exposed to the elements, the wind soon transformed it into a stone monkey, complete in every way and in all aspects of its being.
>With its first breaths, Monkey began to yaddah yaddah you get the gist.
I love this
captcha: you dicular
What are you trying to tell me captcha
>that feel when you could've bought one, just didn't have nearly enough cash to afford one
Tempting Toys kinda ruined it for everyone when they first popped up at Frank and Sons, buying up all the available stock there. Of course, if he didn't do it, someone else would've, and more got found at the source later.
I have a CatDog figure.
It was my favorite Nickelodeon cartoon as a kid and I remember wanting one of the toy sets but my parents never got it for me. When I finally got around to using eBay this was the first thing I bought.
I Got him!. I don't even collect MOTU, but it was that or the pop one, and I have enough pops.
Want to find a good Shadowbox to put good old Stan into with the booklet from that year. Excited to see what this years exclusive will be .
This is a car by Sunnyside Ltd. called a Trabant. One of the most ubiquitous cars Europe ever had. I suspect nobody would have one of these because, well, WHY would anyone want one, but I just fell in love with it. Its even got the pull back action in the rear wheels to make it skitter across the floor and fuck up a toe or two.
