ITT: Post a picture of a toy that you think nobody else on the board owns.

Pic related. I'd be pretty surprised if someone had this. The Palisade's Muppet toys don't seem like they were widely collected, and this one was a pretty rare exclusive, as I recall. Recently sold my whole collection, but kept this one because it was my favorite.

It took me YEARS of scouring ebay to find one of these guys Mint in Sealed Bag.

It may not look like much, but this guy is a relatively little known transformer Grail. This guy originally was a "Checkers" kid's meal toy, but because of shit distribution, only a few restaurants even got them. Less then a thousand of these bad boys were even made, and most of them that did ended up being junked by kids.

i have 2 of those jackie chan adventures figures. i have a shadow ninja and a jackie in a vest who does split kicks when you press his shoulders together.

i thought i was the only person who ever had them. i got them from a fox kids competition as a kid (along with a then new PS2) and never saw them in any stores ever.

They also made an Imaginext version that was much smaller if you don't have the space for the bigger one.

I regret it slightly. I bought it for 50 bucks from a local Newbury Comics back in the day. It was fun, but I needed the space and the money. I spent about $300 amassing the collection one summer, so the way I see it I have all the memories and fun I spent hunting down Muppets with my friend, and then I made $100 on top of it. Crazy that new in box, people are asking for $700 and up. I doubt anyone is paying that, though.

At least I kept my favorite.>>4339112

It's neither

On the bottom it says 1995 Toy State Industrial Ltd. On the same level basically as Chap Mei/Corps. This company also did have some licensed stuff, like Caterpillar.

I didn't mention in the other post but there's buttons on the back. When you press them these lights flash for 10 seconds and there's noises. Like if you ever had a generic "laser gun" that had lights and sounds, it has those types of sounds.

There's also a button that makes the gun on the front rotate and light up.

It's also pretty easy to take apart so I'm thinking I might remove the seat and round part behind it and see if that frees up enough room for figures.

I've had the carded versions and the fishtank set in the past.

Meh. They're a J. Scott Campbell thing- they look sexy, but the book sucked

>not to mention half of it was a fucking ripoff of a Hellboy story, so much so I wonder how no one got sued. Maxim was just Kroenen mixed with Bane
>Bruce Campbell did the foreword for the TPB edition. Why? Far as I know Bruce and J Scott aren't related, nor did Bruce have jack shit to do with the book, and I'd wager he didn't know what Danger Girl was 10 minutes before he was asked to write the foreward

Good luck. Really.
They seem to be extremely rare, I've only ever seen 1 go up for sale on the aftermarket, it was on ebay and sold for $150.
I actually was able to find mine by asking around on various toy BSTs if anyone had one, and coincidentally enough, someone here on the /toy/ BST had one and was nice enough to sell it to me (for $15).

Its only distro was as a bonus included in the first run of the Season 2 Volume 4 DVD and was exclusive to Walmart. It was a very limited run, I don't think they even produced enough to supply the entire first run of the DVDs sent to Walmart- supposedly, people who came across them when they first came out already saw the DVDs intermixed with those that didn't include the figure.

Definitely my "if your house was burning and you could grab 1 toy" figure.

>>
>>4375549
i see no mention of being turned into a stone statue
>>
>>4375553
>In the novel, he is a monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices.

He doesn't get turned to stone, Monkey hatches from an egg made of stone. But the English translation mentions the wind shaping the stone after a bunch of years.
I literally just finished reading it a few days ago. I'd go find the excerpt if it wasn't 4 in the morning
>>
>>4375563
why would he revert back to stone?
>>
>>4375563
Also, I forgot to mention that greentext is a sentence in the first paragraph on the Wikipedia page. Not that Wikipedia is a reputable source, but I'm trying to show that I didn't pull that stone egg concept out of my ass
>>
Okay, just because it was bothering me, I found it literally in the first paragraph of the book.

>High atop a mountain, surrounded by favored earth that nourished magic fungi and wild orchids, there came to be a magic stone of immortal dimensions and properties. It was fructified by the seeds of Heaven and Earth, and by the essences of the sun and moon, until one day it was impregnated by divine inspiration, and became pregnant with a divine embryo. The embryo continues to develop in secret, until one day it burst open to reveal a stone egg. Once the egg was exposed to the elements, the wind soon transformed it into a stone monkey, complete in every way and in all aspects of its being.
>With its first breaths, Monkey began to yaddah yaddah you get the gist.
