After all these decades is there a single figure of the T-800 that actually matches how it looked in the original movie? Every single one I've seen has looked really off with the shoulders way too wide or with wires snaking around that weren't there or as pronounced. How could such a GOAT robot design be handled in such a mediocre way for all these years?

It's a statue, no articulation. It's basically a higher quality prize figure with a bit more shading/wash than you'd typically see from crane prizes. The quality is pretty nice but at the $37 I paid I still feel a slight bit ripped off. I'd of been more comfortable at $30.
That said...the only alternatives (especially for Artorias) are obscenely expensive statues and garage kits. Faraam looks nice on a shelf, about 6.8 inches tall so accessories wouldn't be too out of scale. The shield and sword (and scabbard) come separate.

I'd most prefer something done in the old ML style, but I've also accepted them as dead
I'd live a Mezco One:12 (since they did another HB hero), Figma, Neca, Figuarts, or even Hasbro legends style Mightor.
I know there were previous figured but they fit in with essentially nothing I own.
Who else do you feel needs just any kind of modern 6" figure?
