Not interested in buying anything Ninja Turtles but the Mega Bloks/Construx stuff and the minimates.Smaller scale stuff means it takes up less space plus both lines have better articulation than the main line.


I'm looking forward to seeing what the next cartoon looks like and how Playmates can fuck that up. I would like to see what Jei looks like up close though.

I prefer photos especially if the review knows what hes doing. Mainly because photos are easier to consume and aren't full of fluff like most video reviews. Also video quality limits usually fuck with shit like colour accuracy and detail. Been wanting to do my own photo review blog but don't know the best platform so I've just been making mediocre imgur galleries.

I don't think it really reflects the majority of /toy/, who mostly collect new figures or releases less than a decade old. Also the focus here is very much on collector-oriented things like mecha toys/chogokin, higher-end action figures, imports, licensed items, etc.

For what it's worth I think TS2's depiction of the old-school toy/nostalgia collector is pretty on the money.
