What's the deal with all the Imperial Godzilla knock offs?
I get that back in 1985 it was like the only Godzilla toy for kids in the states but there's so many different variations of it. A bunch having different colors and sculpts

I just feel like there's some interesting history there somewhere

I was going to post this in the Marvel general thread, but decided to make it a separate thread in case anyone else had a similar experience to me with other toys. I'll start with mine

Fighting games have great character designs that make for cool toys so let's have a general for them. The two major players in this genre of toys right now are Storm Collectibles and Bandai Japan.

Storm Collectibles is looking to corner the market after having acquired the licenses to Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and King of Fighters. Unfortunately they've got a spotty record of QC issues in the Street Fighter line and it is solely focused on SFV designs.

Bandai Japan is currently making Street Fighter characters under their S.H. Figuarts line.

GSC also has some fighting game characters in the figma line. KoF98 versions of Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami as well as polygonal versions of Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter.

What upcoming releases are you looking forward to? What characters do you want to see in the future?

do you guys have any bootlegs, i spent like all night last night checking out assorted league bootlegs on ebay and theres a good amount of them that look passable, has anyone really bought any of them, i bought pic related some time ago for 10 bucks. but does anyone own any of the statue shit bootlegs

I took the leap and bought Mikey from China. He doesn't look that bad for $30.

He's obliviously fucked up in the pupils, has mold markings, different paint and has flimsy arm joints. However, he still has die cast legs and works great.

Makes me think that I got a QC reject, anyone else ever order from China?
