looks like someone was too busy meme-ing it up to get the joke
Any other fans here?. Recently got back from Japan and had the chance to attend the Road of Duelist event. It was pretty cool. Picked up some awesome stuff like the medal set and a shit tonne of clear files (just something i collect). Managed to fill an entire 40 page folder with them.
The revoltechs aren't as bad as i thought they'd be. They're my first of the line and i am quite happy. They're very easy to pose. But i'm not too great at it..
>>5905102
Apologies for the grainy photos and low lighting. My camera was sensitive to my Light strips.
Here's an example of the clear files if you're interested in that thing. I managed to get the entire collection. The drawings are my favorite but there's a lot of nice artwork too.
Today I've decided to sell my whole collection of Final Fantasy / Kingdom Hearts figures. Feels bad, man.
>>5904969
if it feels bad why are you doing it.
>>5905005
Well, it's the type of feeling bad like when you move away from home for the first time. You're excited for what that'll bring, but also sad to leave it all behind.
Basically need money for student loans.
Imagine all the $$$ you will need to rebuild your collection. Selling just for some money is never worth it.
Welcome to the LEGO General, enjoy your stay!

Monthly Building Challenges:
>Summer's almost over - make a scene with your sigfig enjoying the last days of the season!
>Bonkle is dead. Build something that uses parts specifically meant for Bionicle.
>Make a police MOC. Be sure to include some ineffectual chasing with handcuffs.
>Brickheadz are stupid. Let's revive Cubedudes! Build a Cubedude to show their superiority over Brickheadz!
>The 2016 Paralympics are on in Rio. Create a MOC or scene showing that minifigs that are broken, damaged or missing parts can still be the best!
>Create a new tribe of mixels.

Any of you anons own her? Is she any good? Had any issues with qc? Looking for a new big titty monster to add to my collection
I do, she's one of the better A.G.P.s. No significant qc issues, the white paint isn't too sharp at times. Her tits aren't that big but she's nice.
She fares a bit better than the original Yamato. I would say worst aspect is her hair. Some serious bootleg level qc on the molding.
If you can get her cheap she's worth it. Got mine for 5k yen.
There's a con exclusive Kai Ni version that has been pushing the original release down in price. Some barely noticeable differences in paint + new gun parts iirc.
>>5903565
I have her as well and she is a nice figure. It isn't as clean as a figma in paint but it isn't sloppy either. At least not mine.
For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

SD Group Build
Rules:
Pick up an SD anything, plane, Gundam/other MS, whatever, if it's generally an SD it counts (so I hope to see someone do a D-Style). Obviously, per all group builds, you'll want to paint it.
Submissions:
Email it to [email protected]
USE AN ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS
Due Date: November 1st
Good news! A kind anon has purchased some prizes for the group build. He has decided to do a random drawing rather than judge them like I did in the previous group build. Winners will be contacted via email.
For those curious, I intend to start the secret Santa signups on October 1st.
Slow day in Gunpla land huh
So the legs on my Fuunsaiki snapped off (both of the rear legs that have the bar connection to be specific)
How should I go about fixing it?
Your favorite glow in the dark toys
Post em!
This is the only photo I have of it, but I got this Kodama in Japan a few years back. He glows really well, looks really cool next to the mushroom lamp I've got.
I've got a kodama, Bloody great little bugger, he even rattles when ya shake him.
I really dig Scareglow and Lighting Raiden. GITD articulated figures are hard to find.

Where do I buy those?
Getting closer to that Volnutt.
Hope we see Roll and the like as well.
I think this line will do good.

>Okay, now WE'LL make a mega man toyline
>okay we made mega man, and bass, and X, and OH NO NOW WE GOT CANCELLED TOO ALSO
>Oh boy, it's our turn to make a Mega Man toyline
>Okay we made Mega Man, and another Mega Man, but THIS time we'll make Cutman!
>Okay, just finished making X and...

but jazwares, bandai and truforce all started with X, and kotobukiya never did X.

Which toy line had the best villain of all time?
>>5898606
I'd say Bionicle since Makuta managed to take over an entire universe and only could be killed by headshotting him with a whole planet.
>ORIGIN: Hatched at the center of an unknown red Birth-Sun
>WEAPON: Wrist lasers
>Arkus is an evil insectoid trying to rule all beings in all galaxies. Arkus never eats, sleeps or feels pain. His life force comes from the anguish of his victims. In all the universe no creature is more evil than Arkus.
>Arkus was raised on the world of Krondar, home planet of the Crab People. He is the author and chief architect of the Intergalactic Triumvirate, which also comprises Ggripptogg and Raygoth.
>>5899260
Came here to post Makuta
Even if you don't like Bionicle, his toys were rad and the dude was bad
Why are there no good Mad Max figures?
Because George Miller won't let anyone make merchandise.
>>5898617
That's really lame, I would love a full line of Max figures
Making the vehicles makes more sense. Hot wheels, model kits and etc. are prefect for it.
What does /toy/ use to dust their figures?
>>5897958
Airbrush cranked to full pressure + some occasional alcohol in a spray bottle
Makeup brushes of varying sizes
>>5897958
Now that raigeki is unbanned, they should do feather duster and just say fuck it

Is this seriously the best figure Sonic's ever gotten? I mean it's a great sculpt and it comes with a bunch of cool accessories, but at the end of the day it's still just a Nendoroid.
With all the Sonic hype this year I'd love to trade up but AFAIK this is the best there is, which is pretty damn depressing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah, the Nendoroid is the best there is for him. And in all honesty, I don't see that changing any time soon. Those spindly limbs and giant head don't lend themselves well to articulated figures at all - any attempt to give him more articulation than what the Nendo has would result in a figure that was A) fragile, B) had trouble supporting its own weight, C) had bulbous joints that look weird, or D) all of the above. Not to mention, skinny limbs tend to look really stiff and awkward when articulated, like what you see here. Swappable limbs work much better for applications like this.
>>5896731
Not OP, but I think that figure there could easily have those issues you mentioned rectified not by changes to the limbs, but the hands and pose.
Natural poses can do a LOT for a figure.
>>5896701
My main issue with the Sonic nendo is that it's got the look of modern Sonic with the proportions of classic Sonic. The two don't work well together in my opinion. If the figure looked like the Sonic OVA or the Sonic CD intro instead of either modern or classic Sonic's design, I'd be all for it though
