Ok, why the HELL are we not DROWNING in 1/12 scale Resident Evil figures? There's a fuck ton of awesome characters with a fuck ton of different designs to make from a fuck ton of different games from a series with a fuck ton fans from all over the world!?! FIGMA! BANDAI! Hell, I'd even take a Revoltech! WHY IS THIS NOT A THING YET?
Also, Resident Evil General.
Putting aside the Hottoys and the knock-offs there; and the old sets - can't remember what their scale was desu but they were a bit crap, there's a nendoroid next year
If GSC has the license then there may be more; the 20th anniversery is coming up/ is here.
Honestly I'm not sure if figure-wise it's popular enough? Goods sure; buttons lanyards, jackets, etc, but figures??? IDK
>>5971422
I mean, I'm pretty sure the NECA figures did well enough. I don't have any data, but their inflated prices seem to indicate it. I'm almost cirtan they could pull it off.
Y'know what we should do? Make a bootleg toy thread!
>>5964865
Yes.
Maybe.
Except its all the same bootlegs over and over, get some OC
I think they are the only import store that let's you cancel pre-orders, but is there anyone else that has a "private warehouse" feature? Does amiami?
I'd like to buy 2 figs that come out acouple months from eachother and ship them together.
>>6015941
As long as you place it on the same order , Nippon-yasan will do that for you . Your order will shipping when all your items arrived .
Anime-export will hold your items for you too , around 60 days
>>6015941
BBTS has the "pile-o-loot" option
>>6015941
Just get if from HLJ.
I'd like a MacGruber figure.
>>6014458
So basically, Shit Taste: The Thread
i'd like a good ronan
>>6014458
Got me excited...fucker can't even thin their paints
Okay, it's a boring Thursday night. Which one should I open and build tonight /toy/? I'll post progress pics.
Do the Exo Suit one. Looks pretty neato.
>>6014425
Yeah, that and you're probably too old for the Star Wars one.
>>6014430
I'm into any type of Legos, but mainly Bonkles. I've seen plenty of Star Wars sets, so it's not much new.
Who's ready to buy some bullshit?! Tomorrow, starting Midnight PST, is 11/11, also known as "Singles Day".
Basically like Cyber Monday, only for Aliexpress.com. Aliexpress is allowing people to prep their carts in advance and fart around with the website to earn coupons that can be used alongside the discounts.
Anybody else buying anything. I will be drowning myself in Clone Brick.
>>6014066
>buying bootlegs
Sorry m8 I enjoy not dying of lead paint
>>6014164
>being this ignorant
>>6014066
Wait so how exactly does it work? Are things discounted or are we working with coupons?
Old thread nuked for no reason edition.
Amazon offers are gone at the moment, but you can still get FM for 110 if you buy it at entertainment earth and use a code that adds an extra 20 off (it's at 130).
>>6013347
>got FortMax this morning when he was $106
Thanks for helping me make that quick decision, /toy/. You may be a bunch of shitposting retards, but when you actually stop flinging shit at each other you're real bros.
>>6013349
I got it for 116 a month ago. A bit annoyed I could have gotten it for 10 less, but no sense crying over spilled milk.
Now if only that third party group working on the new gun and sword for FM would hurry up.
Do you ever talk to your figures?
no but I talk to my pupper
I talk to myself
It's usually me just repeating banter I hear from all the YouTube people I watch
>>6012748
>not konversing with your kot
Just purchased this Hellboy figure for 15 at a Thrift Store. Always wanted one but never wanted to pay out the ass for one. Is this worth it, never seen a hellboy figure in this style.
>>6012697
1) That's a shitty picture, i'd like to see a better one.
2) Probably? what's $15 to ya? a marvel legends like $20 now, right?
>>6012697
Yeah, that's the first Hellboy figure that they ever made. I don't remember for sure. Fifteen's a good price. I have one on card still, cause I have the Mezco comic figures.
>>6012703
My cell's cam is shitty/broken. I believe so
>>6012705
I would kill for a Mezco figure, this is literally the first time I found something of interest at one of these stores

What a nice looking statue.
>>6012517
Take all my money!
I've been waiting for this since I was a kid!
>>6012517
Does the girl version come with tit hatches
>>6012517
I Dunno man, i've seen the new titanfall 2 statueshits and it's not really up to par with what McF used to do.
I'm guessing cards go into this board because they're kinda like toys.
Well I just bought a bunch of yugioh booster packs. They were ancient (2003 edition #1) and the old man at the store had them Hidden under a bunch of boxes. He sold them to me for 25 cents each. Only problem is I can't tell if they're fake.
>>6008024
>I'm guessing cards go into this board because they're kinda like toys.
You guessed wrong >>>/tg/
Are the 2003 edition even relevant nowadays? They look fine tho
The card launchers, perhaps, but the cards are part of a game.
>>>/tg/
is a better fit.
That said, if you're going to play with them in actual tourneys or sell them, that's the only reason to care at this point. Otherwise, if you got scammed, my sympathies, but if they're good fakes, who gives a fuck about using them in friendly games?

They are really big guys
>>6004909
just sayin'... this is what he actually looked like in the cartoon

for (you).
A great activity for me is to google old toys, try to find the ones I owned. Because I'm not american, I wouldn't really know how to read the series of the toys and stuff like that, so it would be a mystery to me, but always satisfying when I find.
For starters, the Ultraforce Ghoul figure. This guy was my favorite for a long time. You can take off his arms and torso and the pegs resembled bone. All the white parts are glow in the dark. He came with a coffin where he'd rise from, knocking the lid out. The lid itself is a pretty cool sculpt. Webs, spider and a victim count mark on the inside.
Now, when I had this I didn't knew where he was from, never found an Ultraforce comic published in here. Eventually I saw this TV Series called Nightman and I learned he was from a group of super-heroes, which made him even cooler, cause a zombie super-hero was a new concept to me.
Lost a few parts of him, had dick cousins and caretakers with stealing habits. So I bought a second one and I found it again. This is the only toy I've ever bought twice.
This one was one of my two favorite spideys.
His arms had little to none articulation which sucked balls, but somehow he was so cool I overlooked that.
For one, he had the web lines in the costume actually carved on the sculpt, not just painted like all the other spider-man figures I owned.
Second, he had McFarlane eyes and this was the red and black variant, which greatly appealed to my angsty kid nature.
He has this whole gimmick, it comes with a launcher that launches mutaded spiders, then spidey has a harness with a bigass net that launches forward and you're supposed to catch the airborne spiders. Never gave a shit about that, all I cared as the figure itself.
There's a few, but as far as one that wasn't just a toy of a cartoon/comic character from the 90's, BW Skyshadow was my favorite. A beast mode that looks like a dragon, pretty cool poisonous looking color scheme, and some good articulation; ankle tilts on a 90's figure was mind blowing to me. He became the star of a lot of my stories, acting as another Predacon leader. He could take down larger Transformers and would go on to menace more generations of good guys with his awesome claw arm. Sadly the internal mechanism on the claw bloke, but I have an extra junker somewhere around.I'll fix it eventually.
This was the most expensive I've had as a kid. It's a McFarlane Toys Cyber Spawn.
There's nothing in this toy that doesn't appeal to a kid in the 90's.
The big M in the chest is all that is left.
You knoe....
(and I'm not talking about the Monstress, or the crazy expensive Medicoms from a bunch of years back).
