Where to buy second hand Shinkis:
>eBay, Amazon - generally overpriced, but you might get lucky.
>Mandarake, Rakuten - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images.
>Yahoo Japan Auctions, Suruga-ya - you'll need a proxy if you’re not in Japan.
>Taobao - some shops ship international now, so you might not need a proxy.
>Amiami, Jungle-scs - occasionally get some preowned.
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection, and Busou Shinki World too.

Apparently the red highlighted joints are really tight on this release of WISM Soldier and Assautl, and might require some adjustment via sanding or otherwise.

Keep it in mind while building and don't hamhand your kits.

I believe theres another twitter hashtag for frame arms girl just without the ・

which brings up some alternate results. I stopped looking on twitter because theres too much scratchbuilt shit I can never make myself and its depressing

Hello /toy/

I recently purchased pic related and like an idiot I managed to break the backpack peg that lodges into the back by attempting to swap it's hands with the backpack attached.

I did not have any similar issues from other figures in the movie realization line, but I am wondering if I am fucked and gonna have to buy a new one or if its possible to purchase the backpack by itself from somewhere like ebay.

I did, but a lot of my varying goggle searches just bring up the same 10 links in a row either talking bout or selling the figure. Same thing on ebay.

Hey /toy/ never posted here before but I'm looking for some opinions on these McFarlane figures that are coming out in a few months.
I don't know too much about these things but they look pretty nice for the money, but I'm probably wrong.

Because this figure was only released for a limited time in Brazil despite being based off a somewhat popular cartoon in the 80's. Read all about it here:

It's a genuinely rare figure. Only a handful exist in that condition. Quite unlike SW Black scalper bait or "preorder now or prepared to pay a latecomer tax" import figure.

And before you say "Why would anyone pay so much for something so stupid?"
>Look at what board you are on.
>Realize that other people are willing to pay big bucks for stranger things, like vintage oil cans, civil war era buttons, and old diapers.

t. Someone who's an antique dealer and has sold rusty oil cans for big money.

What are these things called?

I had a bunch of them as a kid of this style but have no idea where they came from. All I can find online is this picture, from a page saying they came from Arby's in the 70s or 80s. However, I can't find any other sources to back this up.

Does anyone have any information on these? I'm really curious.

I legitimately don't know what I did.

Final version will have pinholes afterall, although he says they will be flush to the surface and much less noticeable, and the one on the jaw won't be visible at all.

Still kind of disappointing.

ITT: Childhood toys that are still a part of your collection.

I got this Apocalypse figure roughly 21 years ago. He came with accessories if I remember correctly but they have been lost to the sands of time. He's a bit scuffed up too, but still presentable. My brother had a really nice Gambit from the same line, but that's also long gone.

I still have a shelf full of Mego World's Greatest Super Heroes figures, All of the Shogun Warriors/Jumbo Machinders, a hand full of Micronauts, and a smattering of Popy die-cast toys I picked up over the years.
Plus everything I collected between then and now.
My collection is very eclectic.

I have very serious issues. Anyone else besides me have toy related mental health issues? I'm sure part of my problem is some sort of shopping addiction. But that's not really it. I truly love action figures with all my heart and soul. I can't stop goung full autsist on the bliss of a new figure.

I wish more than anything I could get a job for a toy company and get paid for what I love.

I really need to get a grip. I'm sorry for the blog, I just wonder if anyone else is feeing down because of their toys right now, maybe we can help eachother

Welcome to another edition of Transformer General, in this issue we will ask questions like "What figure will use the breakdown mold next?" and "Which Marvel Transformer crossover should we have a MP of? And will Hasbro or Takara make it better?"

Also, more importantly, when will we see pic related in stock? The Skywarp reissue was released a month or so ago and major US retailers are still "waiting" on their stock. Will the fate be the same for MP Soundwave who is already in stock for Robot Kingdom? Why hasn't BBTS or anyone for that matter sent a 10 day email to charge people yet? WHERE IS SOUNDWAVE?!
