Let us discuss Lego Star Wars sets that are relatively to scale with minifigures. It will never be exact so fuck off with your Legos aren't to scale bullshit. I just want to discuss the idea of sets sitting next to each other and making since spatially.

So far, it looks as though the only UCS sets that are about scale is the Millennium Falcon and Slave 1.
So, as for the regular system sets, which are in an acceptable range of minifig scale?
I'd say these are to scale even if they're a little too big or a little too small. That's as close as we'll get.

Rey's Speeder
X-wing sets
A-wing
B-wing
V-wing
All the TIE variants
All the small speeders/bikes

So then there are numerous versions of a lot of these vehicles that are different scales. The 75050 B-wing seems to be the most to-scale while the older sets and the UCS are either too small or much too large.

I have the figma, probably my favorite Spidey figure, but it's certainly not the best.

For price, accessories, and articulation, ML Ult is the best.

In terms of articulation only, that'll probably be the upcoming Revoltech

You kinda just set yourself up for SOL man. You won't find it anywhere for cheaper unless you can maybe snag a used one on mandy.

You're literal best option is to get a bootleg (i.e. factory defect and no difference in quality) on ebay for like, half that price.

So the Fwoosh guys got an email from the company putting the figures together and it basically says "Hey we finished everything and then noticed our employees built them all incorrectly, whoops, we now have to fix the problem with short staff due to the holiday"

They will now ship in April instead of late February/Early march.

Thoughts?

Not really surprised. They don't really give us any really updates with the entire 67 or so updates they had. So I expected delays regardless.

I'm thinking of pre-ordering pic related. Does Max Factory make good stuff? I almost bought the Good Smile PVC one a while back, which looks better, but you can't pose. Any input would be appreciated since I've never owned anything from MF before. Thanks!

It's out already.

Reviews say it's good. Yes, Max Factory (and the Figma line in general) are generally good shit. Go buy it if you like the look of it.

I really like the look of it. They seem to have done a great job at making her posable, but still sleek.

Amazon says release on March 29 for $74. Where is it out already? I've only ever bought one Japanese figure before, so maybe Amazon isn't the place to get it from?

Unless I'm mistaken or they've changed the way they do things, I don't think exclusive Figmas ever get reissued. Plus that wasn't just a normal exclusive, that was a special pack-in deal with a current volume of the manga. I'd say chances of a reissue are almost nil.

Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>http://jungle-scs.co.jp/ - Seems like you can fine some good deals here
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection for any offer/deal

Repeating this comment because last thread is kill.

Where could I get the best figma bootlegs from?

>implying not all bootlegs are shit

Yeah bootlegs are bootlegs, but getting replacement joints isn't too difficult, and modding is a future possibility.
Is there a specific site or ebay seller that has the "best bootlegs?"

I just don't want a toxic piece of plastic coming in the mail, or a completely different figure showing up.

Keep him boxed. Toys are an extremely great investment, and if you wait long enough , you'll make hundreds per toy.

Personally I've kept all my incredible 1990's era spawn toys in their packages even though I wanted to put them out on display. I'm taking them to the local comic dealer in finally so I can buy my mom a house to show her I didnt waste my life.
