My (jewish) nephew went on a rant this thanksgiving about how "somebody has to stop these goddamned kikes!"

Played an elf who married a non-elf, got discriminated against because elves think they're so great and shouldn't mix. He lived among humans so long he basically thinks of himself as human. When he encounters other elves he gets pretty aggressive and quietly pissed off, usually goes out of his way to give them a hard time, even provoking them sometimes.

Don't exaggerate it to the point of comedy like Uncle Ruckus.
For example, an Orc who believes that Orcish "culture" (air quotes are his) is vile, and that the only solution is to wipe out the Orcs in order to make the world safe for decent Human folk.
An Elf who believes his own people to be a collection of pompous windbags who intentionally hold the younger races back in order to preserve their own inflated sense of superiority.

There are negative traits to every culture and some cultures have more of them. I think it is reasonable to find an example of a character in D&D who looks down on most other members of his/her species. The cliched and obvious one is Drizzt, because few Drow have a real conscience in the Forgotten Realms. Other examples might include a Frost Giant that's CG instead of EG as most of his kin are. You could play a half-orc who's actually LG.

Ultimately, humans are superior to every other species because they're the shortest lived sentient species. This forces them to learn, adapt, and create tools to use in a very short amount of time and results in the community's level of sophistication and power rising at phenomenal rates, given access to enough resources. But that's also their biggest problem, they guzzle resources like no other because of their short lifespans. Every new generation has to acquire a home, time and funds for child-rearing, and they all want to live separately instead of communally. You could create a human who hates other humans because he views his own species like a disease or especially rabid parasite, simply gnawing away at the environment to spread our ilk.

I'm currently doing this with my Tiefling Paladin.

She was originally an Angel on a holy crusade, transformed via a Wish by a powerful demon.

She was reincarnated as a Tiefling, this form chosen by said demon, to mock her. He also gave her back her memories, to make her suffer emotionally, seeing as she made her life out of slaying demons.

One of my first characters was a half elf who hated all elves.
He despised his mother for being an elf and his father for impregnating one.
He was also a self loathing alcoholic.

Long time ago in a Rifts CS campaign (ino rifts a shit etc) I played a Ratboy who was really trying to get his shit together, work as a scout/tracker for the Lone Star military, teach his fellow rats about civilized life, and was tiredtiredtired of the infighting and sewers and hate. He fought well, was loyal to his squad, followed orders, saved the Lt. in the Tolkien campaign, tried not to think too much about the war crimes, and in the end wanted to go home to teach/train a new generation that maybe wouldn’t have it so bad. The hyper-human supremacist juicer in the squad shot him in the back during the last days of the campaign. Shit was well roleplayed and sad as fuck.

Actually, a similar concept (also, oddly, used by R.A. Salvatore), is a character who doesn't necessarily hate their own race, but wants to see a radical change in them for their long term survival - so maybe you could say he hates their culture. The trope probably being more commonly known as "Orc chieftain ISO civilization, and the old guard is trying to usurp him". (Which, incidentally, seems to be the theme for the upcoming *shiver* Warcraft movie.)
