easy conceptual solution: give the catperson an Egyptian theme, have them be the paladin of an Egyptian Cat-Goddess like Sekhemet, Bast, or, I think, Isis.

Bast is probably the best choice since she's both presented as a Hearth Goddess and a Protector type goddess.

thanks, can't take credit for it though, it was a friend's idea. Their Egyptian Paladin catfolk was meant to be a contrast (even chromatically) to my own catfolk dude who plays the whole "psychopathic, selfish, murderhobo incarnate" rogue.
