We need an update on the status of the Warp Drive...I hope progress has been made for one.

And while you're at it, best to check that everyone is all right after yesterday's debacle...how in the Warp did that even happen....
>>
>Heads down to engineering to ask how everyone is getting on with the Warp Drive.

Never eat the brownies.
>>
Well it's happening AGAIN so I'll probably be gone for all of this AGAIN. Have fun with it you guys.
>>
>continues to work on 'Ol Skorchy
>>
>Discussing with Alice about the STC.
>>
>>45027383
I'm telling you that it's the real deal lass. And it's bloody intact, It might just be worth the risk now.
>Alice gestures to the STC on the crates in front of them, thankfully on the Star, away from prying eyes.
Wanna see for yourself?
>>
>Hauls himself out of his bunk, empty bottle of Rahzvod rattling on the metallic floor, muttering
There are no miracles, only men.

How're you bob?
>>
>>45027395
It would help me to see it to believe it, yes.

fixxin and makin bigga
>grins up from his work
>>
> The Ogryn is seen performing latrine duty. The Bathroom does not seem to be ogryn proof.
>>
>>45027416
Well, if you're interested in fixing, I'm heading to ask the engineers what's taking so long with the warp drive, want to come along?
>>
>>45027415
>Alice pulls a spare Dataslate from her map case and, after severing the network connection, connects the STC and hands the Slate to LIX.
Take a look. It's all there, diagnostic'll confirm it's intact.
>>
>>45027451

Increidible... what do you think it is exactly?
>>
>>45027477
>wanders through engineering for a while eventually finding one of the workers who doesn't seem too busy

Hey there, we're just wondering what's taking the warp drive?

anyone want to be the engineer?
>>
>kicks his door open
>He's groggy and grouchy
>smells of dirt, promethium, gunpoweder, alcohol, and piss
>showers
>goes to find something to eat

>mumbling irritatedly to himself
>>
>>45027487
Not entirely sure at present, definetly some sort of mechanized equipment, I'd need to study it more to find out what.
Believe me now?
>>
>>45027439
> Finishes latrine duty and ignores the destroyed Bathroom.
Better be lookin' for Orders.

Day twenty two.
Today is a wonderful day.
I finally got rid off the pesky enginseers and techpriests. Engineering is fully mine.
I've learned the vessel carries an appropiate ammount of men for my... projects and to hold a daemon attack of the great four, surely no-one will care if one or two go missing.

As expected the place seems a magnet of heretic forces, Malal will be pleased with the coming sacrifices. The machinery is ready and safely stored in engineering, all I need now is wait for a daemon attack of any of the great four to test it. Hehehehe.

Even if we can bring the station's weapon batteries offline, doesn't mean that -all- of the systems on board, or the Necrons will be too.
Your point -is- valid however, but to land addition troops we'll want to draw as much attention away from their arrival as we can.

This would be where those Escorts come in.

And I agree, as regards to the Penance....then again, perhaps it might be best to leave her here and make one of the Explorator Vessels our temporary base for this Op?

This Ol' girl is poorly armed and rather large...
