I can easily do it by dismissing your "magical realm" complaint, which is usually the first step of any of these arguments, by calling you a dumb memester who uses overused sayings without even knowing what they mean or what they apply to. I don't care how wrong or right I might be with that assertion, all that matters is that you've been sucked into my argument, and we're going to be going into circles all night.

Next, I bring in something along the lines of how it's economically practical and it makes sense for creatures that live in caverns and tunnels to have an efficient way of disposing waste. I can also then point out that people in India eat cow dung and drink cow piss as part of religious reverence, so it's not as impractical or unrealistic as you are trying to make it out to be.

The key thing is, it doesn't matter how wrong I am. It doesn't matter how awful the idea is, or how much you might want to explain that it's an awful idea.
