What are the most sickening things in the 40k universe?
Well, to be sincere the only gurdsnenfags that I find annoying are the chaos warbands ones, like those fags that wanked for years around that Khorne guards army. it was more pathetically edgy than any 16 years old nazi revisionist put togheter
The colossal horde of twelve-year olds and autists that were drawn here from reddit by the cavalcade of mediocrity known as The All Gaurdsmen Party, and worship the blogger who writes the thing with a slavish devotion that is beyond creepy.
It's like summer-fags crossed, with bronies, crossed with Scientologists.
HFYfags who think that being cannon fodder makes them the hottest shit.
They aren't even true cannon fodder either, seeing as their faction usually wins. They better thank their sweet pasty humie ass orks are there to pick up the cannon fodder slack for those primadonnas
Thirding, or whatever.
The sickening aspect is that virtually ANY explanation could have been given - including clones - but McNeill instead put his misogynist, magical realm, Grimderp Dungeon headcanon into print, and now it's "official."
I wish he'd just stuck to his usual poop jokes.
Thanks again, BL editorial.
My mistake, not a Commissar.
>Imperium tier Pyrrhic victory.
Which is still better than what every other faction gets.
Except maybe the tau, and even then the tau suffer hilarious losses whenever it's anyone BUT the Imperium and maybe nids.
I still find it funny that tau were able to out maneuver a tyranid hive fleet infamous for its rapid mutations but still get outsmarted by orks on a semi regular basis
>what is eldar, Dark Eldar, Imperial Guard, Necrons, The Inquisition and the general various Imperial offices
and that's not counting Slaanesh's hermaphroditic daemons.
also, if you want to paint your minis black, white, yellow, green, whatever, that is up to you. So, it's not our fault - not even GW's fault! - that you are a narrow minded idiot.
nothing in grimdark is sickening
thats like saying something in fetish porn is 'unapropriate'
there are those practices of modifying peoples neurology by directly ampuating parts of the brain and replacing them with pre-programmed hardware, locking the body into metal frames, replacing healthy bodyparts with bionic prostetics etc... making the human into a living automaton
iv just got a thing about such forms of 'constraint', it literaly scares me, but also fascinates as a idea
Tau got a hugely pyrrhic victory in the second Damocles Gulf crusade storyline. They technically won by holding off the Imperial crusade and prevventing them from recapturing a key system, but the planet in the system the Tau were planning to turn into a major colony world got rendered unliveable and the the entire Third Sphere Expansion had to be put on hold untill they figure a way to bypass whatver the fuck Admech did to the Damocles Gulf.
Also, the fight againt Nids was more bullshit on the part of the Nids, methinks. They apparently somehow evolved their gaunts immune to pulse rifles. I'd like to see that on the tabletop, gaunts that can't be harmed with s5 weapons.
Every faction except the Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, and the SOBs have males and females in their ranks.
As for non-whites, GW is British. The brits never have non-whites in anything they make.
Yet in 40k, we have the Salamanders (Black), Talarn (Arabic), Crimson Fists (Hispanic), Blood Ravens (Arabic/White/Black), Thousand Sons (Arabic) and a metric fuck-ton of aliens, of which a few of them don't have defined genders.
So if it pleases your ego, 40k is more progressive than any British Sci-Fi ever created.
Now fuck off please.
>there's victory, Pyrrhic victory, and Imperium Pyrrhic victory
The only meaningful Imperial victories since the Scouring were Damnos, Pandorax, and the First and Second Wars for Armageddon (Ghaz getting bored and leaving on a mission from Gork and Mork after the Third is not the same as a win). Astute readers may note that all three involved sacrificing lives and resources in droves to accomplish nothing more that preventing the permanent loss of a planet. The Imperium achieving a merely Pyrrhic victory would be several steps up for them, and Macharius proved they couldn't make it stick anyway.
but all that means nothing in grimdark, there might as well be completely endemic phenotypes of humans on every single planet, all meat looks the same once trough the meat-grinder
You are correct.
Which is why people should stop bitching about "muh gender equality."
It doesn't matter if they sexually identify with a combine harvester or if they are a fourth black, asian, hispanic, and inuit, they are going to be mulched into the same red paste in the end.
Everyone in 40k will die horribly, and the tone will not change anytime soon.
The fact that xenophobia, religious intolerance, fanaticism, rampant paranoia and ignorance are keeping humanity alive, along with the fact that tolerance, acceptance, religious freedoms, free thinking, and giving the benefit of the doubt is going to get you killed.
True. How soon you all forget
I remember reading the first Horus Heresy novel and just facepalming once they destroyed the Interex, realizing they'd probably done that dozens if not hundreds or thousands of times in the 200 years of the crusade, and knowing, even to people who would just be getting into the lore now, how fucked the universe was right then and there.
