>This is a quest taking place in an alternate version of the Naruto world during the same time period as the story, with a few notable differences. You will be playing as Kon Karagowa, a young Leaf Jonin. Your character is defined by your choices, so write-ins are always encouraged. And remember to have fun!
You wake up bright and early, ready to leave as the sun is still rising. Without waking your Uncle, you take your things and leave the room. You head down into the kitchen and grab a quick snack, eating as you head for the door. Before you can leave, you find Sasuke awake as well.
"Thought I'd see you off." Sasuke remarks. You two leave the house and keep chatting as you walk. "Don't you worry about things here. I'm sure my mother is enjoying not having to cook, so your uncle will be just fine while you're gone. Kiba's been making little headway with nature chakra, so he's been begging me to help him out. He's gotten himself all hyped about being part of what he calls 'The Three Sages of the Leaf'. Can you believe it?"
Sasuke chuckles lightly to himself. "Between that and clan duties, I think I'll be tied down for a while. So you just go out and do what you need to do. Akatsuki is still out there somewhere. My brother says he may have a lead here in the village, but... anyway, good luck, Kon."
Sasuke turns to leave as you arrive. Han and Roshi are at the village gate, accompanied by Tenzo.
"Morning, Kon." Tenzo yawns. "Looks like you three are ready to go. Knock 'em dead, kid."
Tenzo shoots you a thumbs up which you return before heading out of the village with your two guests in tow.
A few minutes into your trip, Han speaks up.
"So Kon, you wanted to learn more jutsu, right?" he asks. "I have plenty of them you could add to your repertoire. I could teach you how to use Fire Release too."
"A bit eager there, Han." Roshi speaks up. "Wasn't Kon the one that asked to learn? Not that I mind helping him out."
"Well, bit of a new lease on life now, I suppose." Han replies. "Plus no one ever asked me how to do anything before."
>A.I want to learn a new jutsu
>B.I want to learn Fire Release
>C.Actually, I want to learn Earth Release
>D.I changed my mind, I don't need lessons
>C.Actually, I want to learn Earth Release
You figure that while you're traveling with two people that can use Fire Release, you might as well take advantage of their talents.
"I want to learn Fire Release." you say. "Up until now, it's been my greatest weakness, so I want to learn how to make it a strength."
"Well, that follows well enough." Han replies. "Let's work on that, then. I trust I have your support as well, Roshi?"
"Sure." Roshi responds, stroking his beard. "Between the two of us, we'll have this kid shooting fireballs in no time."
Over the course of the day, Han and Roshi take turns tutoring you on the use of Fire Release. Water came quite easily, but Fire has proven to be a bit trickier. You mold it just like you're instructed, but the flames don't come out at first.
You practice while you walk and before you sleep for a couple of days, before you finally manage to get it, performing a basic Fireball Jutsu.
"About time." Roshi grumbles.
"It's more impressive than you think, Roshi." Han explains. "He's picked up a nature he has no natural affinity with surprisingly fast. It's a completely different beast from using your naturally attuned element. This kid is really good."
"So then." Han turns to you. "Between the two of us, there's scant few Fire jutsu we don't know. Anything in particular you wanted to learn?"
>A. Yes (Write-in a suggestion)
>B. I wanted to move on to Earth
>C. Let's go back to Water
>D. That's enough
Your initial thought is that a technique that can redirect or nullify fire would come in more handy than anything else. You voice your idea to Han.
"I know of no such technique, I'm afraid." Han shakes his head. "Controlling other people's jutsu is not so easily done, and to nullify fire, water is easiest way. You could perhaps create such a jutsu, were you to put in the time and effort. Though, I may have another jutsu that interests you. The Phoenix Flower Jutsu may be a good start if you wish to create this technique of yours. You can manipulate the jutsu's flames freely, and with practice, it can be applied to natural fire. Perhaps with enough mastery, you can control even another ninja's flames?"
The next couple of days are spent practicing the Phoenix Flower Jutsu. Both Han and Roshi know it, and you've seen Sasuke use it plenty of times before, so the process is quick. After a while of practicing, you can shoot the flames and move them however you wish.
"There you are!" Han praises you. "Already using that jutsu like a natural!"
"No doubt," Roshi adds. "If I didn't know any better, then from that I'd assume Fire was your natural chakra affinity."
Han laughs. He seems to be having a good time. "We've still got a couple more days of travel. You want to learn anything else?"
>A. I want to learn Earth Release now
>B. I want to keep working on Fire Release
>C. I want to learn more Water Release Jutsu
>D. No thanks, I want to do something else
>A. I want to learn Earth Release now
Might aswell get all the elements down while we have people willing to teach us
When we are alone we can fuck around with mixing our chakra with them and see what impact it has
Yes. The fight with Hidan never happened, so he never got killed. Hopefully he'll survive to the end of this and be a cool dad to Mirai.
There are three types of jutsu that we see labeled as forbidden: Ones that are dangerous to the user, ones that are so powerful that they're taken out of circulation as a security measure, and ones that are crimes against nature.
"Ones that are dangerous to the user, ones that are so powerful that they're taken out of circulation as a security measure, and ones that are crimes against nature."
Nuke Jutsu HO.
You've come this far, so you figure you might as well complete the set.
"I want to learn Earth Release now." you say. "Then I'll know all the basic chakra natures."
"That would be quite impressive." Han notes. "Very few shinobi ever manage such a feat. But I think you just might do it. You and your friend were able to defeat the man with the Rinnegan, after all. No doubt you are not far from a ninja to rival any Kage."
"Roshi." Han turns to the bearded man. "You're up this time."
"Of course." Roshi approaches you. "Let's see how you take to this element, now."
Over the rest of your travel, Roshi tries to explain how to mold Earth chakra, but progress is slow.
"It's not like the other elements." Roshi tries to elaborate. "It's more solid, substantial. You can't let it flow like the others."
On the last day before you reach the Stone, you fall to the ground exhausted. You still haven't been able to properly mold Earth chakra yet. For some reason, you're having far more trouble than any of the other elements.
"Relax, Kon." Han insists. "This is the usual process for someone without a natural affinity. The fact that you've gained Water and Fire so quickly is nothing less that extraordinary. You should take it easy and keep trying on your own time."
"I suppose I can't be too disappointed." Roshi grumbles. "You don't see me trying any Water jutsu."
>A. Insist on continuing to try using Earth release
>B. Take a break, talk to Han/Roshi about something
>C. Go straight to bed and recover your strength
Well since we have an affinity for almost all nature transformations, I think if we put effort into it we can create a new kekei genkai using 3 nature releases like the tsuchikage.
>>B. Take a break, talk to Han/Roshi about something
what are we Aang?
Anyway maybe ask them If they have any pointers for using our other elements.
Third member of team Kon confirmed.
>A. Insist on continuing to try using Earth release
i think performing jutsu in sage modes supposed to be harder or at least it was when we where learning it so it probably wont help
That was confirmed a while back. We've got a Jinchuriki named after food, a Uchiha directly related to Itachi, and a girl with incredible chakra control. We are going to be Kakashi. I half expect that we'll lose an eye and get a transplant.
I hope he doesn't. Both because I want Itachi to stay alive and because it would make me feel very inadequate. The EMS is a lot more impressive an end-game upgrade than finally summoning a particularly grumpy monkey. Unless that monkey turns out to be one serious badass.
You forget, our skills are already on par with the Rinnegan, and we've only scratched the surface of Senjutsu. Look at what Jaraiya, Tsunade, or Orochimaru were able to do with Nature Chakra?
Behold the ultimate monkey summon
I wouldn't say better, ours is useful in its own way. Its just less refined.
Except that we have a release that does shit we haven't even begun to explore yet. We really need to talk to some researchers and actually figure out what we can do.
I'm putting my money on our release letting us literally punch the fabric of reality meaning even Madara's bullshit phasing won't help him.
You appreciate the concern, but resting isn't going to get you to using every chakra nature any sooner.
You sit up and stay still for a bit to gather nature chakra, using it to restore yourself so you can keep going longer.
You keep practicing well into the night, trying to mold Earth chakra until you get tired, then gathering nature chakra until you can keep going.
Eventually, the sun begins to rise. You did however, find a bit of success. A patch of earth that you moved proves that you've successfully molded Earth chakra. With this accomplishment, you pass out from overexertion despite the encroaching sunlight.
When you wake up, you find yourself on Han's back.
"Have a good nap, kid?" Han laughs. "A determined one aren't you? Well, you did it. Congratulations on learning all five basic chakra natures. You might want to take it easier in the future though."
"You don't want to be too much trouble for others, do you?" you hear Roshi ask from the side. "We're practically at the Stone, and you were out cold."
Han sets you down to walk on your own, and you get a snack from your bag. It's about midday now, and the Village Hidden in the Stone is just ahead.
The three of you arrive at the gate, and the guards let you through after checking your identity. You head straight to the Tsuchikage's office, and enter.
"Kon, I've been expecting you." the old man turns in his chair to face you. "I heard about the attack, and I..."
Upon seeing Han and Roshi, he stops. He sits for a while with his mouth agape in disbelief.
>A. What were you saying, Lord Tsuchikage?
>B. Explain about Han and Roshi
>C. Ask something else
Impact Implosion sphere. A sphere of Impact chakra that turns whatever inside it to mush.
Implosion Chakra infusion. pour our Chakra into an enemy Impact their atoms and ripping them apart.
The only thing our version does that his doesn't is grow us a tail. He has all the same enhancements to strength and speed we do, as well as easier gathering of nature chakra and low-level telekinesis. Perfect Toad Sage beats Partial Monkey Sage.
"Yeah, confusing, right? I was there and I didn't believe. For some reason the Rinnegan-wielder decided to bring back to life all the jinchuriki he had killed. Something about wanting one of his accomplices to have a clean conscience. Seems pretty cowardly if you ask me, but then again so does everything else he did so I guess it's not surprising."
>B. Apparently, the nine-tails Jinchuuriki the Akatsuki have has been making a case where the Jinchuuriki themselves are concerned. Following this, their leader felt it prudent to bring back all of the fallen Jinchuuriki. We've done our part making sure there's nothing malicious hidden in them, but I'd still recommend you have some of your own take a look.
>A. Anyways, yes, the Attack. Kinda disappointing, actually. The Rinnegan user insisted on fighting from range, so I didn't get to try out any of my close range techniques on him.
"Guards Guards come quick Theiers something wrong with the Tsuchikage!!!" Guards burst into the room.
"Whats wrong Tsuchikage is somth...." Catch sight of Han And Roshi. Mouths hit the floor.
Kon: "Oh no somethings happened to the guards as well we need help in here!" Kurotsuchi walks in with some others, eyes go wide as they see the 'dead' Jinchuriki
Kurotsuchi: ' Kon Han and Roshi are standing right their." Kon turns to look at them.
Kon: "What do you mean I see Nothing."
>Laze is gone
My preference would be to learn moves from each that either compliment our own release, work well with traps, or counter the counters to our release.
Particularly the lattermost.
Impact Implosion sphere.
We need to make a list. This should be on it.
I can't get over how much Ten-Ten looks like a hippy in this picture
Nah I prefer my lineup
Kon = Fred because traps
Kiba = Shaggy because pal with dog
Akamaru = Scooby because Dog
Kakashi = Daphne because pretty one
Sasuke = Velma because eye problems.
Oh, you misunderstand. I'm not talking about the Naruto thing, I'm talking about the "trained by Orochimaru" thing. That's when she compromised herself and became, figuratively if not literally, a filthy whore.
Eh I guess when you put it that way. Although I think the whole reason why she left with Snake Senpai was because he knew Naruto. Actually I think Naruto was the one who met her at that place with the Madara and Hashirama statues...
"I can't believe I was so foolish." he mutters. "That person she wanted to reach. He's right there."
You look over to the statue of the first Hokage. Hinata stands there, her curse mark in the process of receding. Next to her stands a figure in an a black cloak with red clouds. It's not Orochimaru or Sasori, yet he somehow looks familiar. He's a young man, likely your age. He wears no headband, and has blond, spiky hair. He has lines on his face like whiskers, and his eyes are currently a vibrant red.
He looks at you. His eyes look demonic, and you freeze. No matter how you will it, your body won't move.
"Your friend there is finished." he tells you. "I'd rather not kill you, so why don't you just take off."
With that he heads over the border, calling back to Hinata. "Well, didn't you say you were coming?"
She looks in the direction of you and Sasuke one last time before leaving.
"Of course, Naruto." She says.
Woo my memory isn't as shit as I thought.
Nope Naruto didn't let him I think this was brought up when we caught up to them again.
After a few drawn out moments, Roshi is the one to break the silence.
"What's wrong, old man?" he asks, barely containing his laughter. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"You two are alive?" The Tsuchikage finally manages to ask. "But how?"
"They did die when they got their tailed beasts extracted." you explain. "But after we defeated him, the man with the Rinnegan brought them back to life for some reason."
"The Rinnegan can return the dead to life?" the Tsuchikage asks, calming himself down. "Truly an eye of great power. And you were able to defeat him?"
You nod, but try to move the conversation along.
"So what was that you were saying, Lord Tsuchikage?" you ask.
"Right." the old man clears his throat. "I heard about the attack, and I wanted to offer my apologies to you and the Hokage. And it seems that we now even owe you a debt for bringing our Jinchuuriki back."
"We were revived without our tailed beasts, you know." Han adds. "Akatsuki still has them."
"Ah. Well, I expected as much regardless." the Tsuchikage replies. "We were planning on putting together a strike team against Akatsuki immediately. Our sources have been tracking Deidara's movements, and we have already sent correspondence to the Hokage. The team will be assembled soon. I have to ask, will you be on the team, Kon? Your presence would surely benefit the team's cohesion."
>A. I want to be on the team
>B. Who are you sending?
>C. Wait, what have you found out about Akatsuki?
>D.I have other things I need to do
>A. I want to be on the team
"I'll have to clear it with the Hokage, but he shouldn't have any problems. This sort of inter-village strike team was exactly the sort of thing he wanted to bring up at the summit."
We've got time to send a message real quick, right?
Sir, there is also something else you should know. The real leader of the Akatski has revealed himself, I may not know who he really is but he claims to be Madara Uchiha... But I'm not meant to tell people that if you catch my drift.
And no apologies Nessery we understand how it looked, by the way is Kurotsuchi about?
There's no way you're going to miss out on this.
"I want to be on the team." you tell the Tsuchikage. "I should be able to send a message to the Hokage and get it cleared quickly, so there shouldn't be any issue. So Lord Tsuchikage, who are you sending?"
"We are going to send a team of three, and we suggested that the Leaf do the same." the Tsuchikage answers. "Though that doesn't include you, you should be able to join the two teams of three just fine. We are going to send my granddaughter, Akatsuchi, and Deikida. Akatsuchi was my other bodyguard at the summit, if you haven't met him. I don't know who the Hokage will send, but you may be able to make arrangements if you wish."
"And what of us?" Han asks. "We want to try and reintegrate into the village."
"I welcome it." the Tsuchikage responds. "There may be a but of lingering animosity for you, but I think you can overcome it now that you no longer house the tailed beasts."
Roshi rolls his eyes. "Sounds wonderful. So we'll be fighting an uphill battle then."
"Don't worry about it, Roshi." Han tells him. "The older people who still care will get over it, and the younger ones don't care at all. I've got a good feeling about this."
"You certainly are different, Han." the Tsuchikage notes. "I guess you really were reborn."
Han and Roshi leave to go find their place in the village, while you summon a monkey to send a message to the Hokage. Now the question is what exactly to say.
>A. Tell him you are going to join the strike team
>B. Suggest people to put on the team
>C. Tell him something else
>A. Tell him you are going to join the strike team
I trust Itachi to put together the appropriate team given the information he has. He knows us, he'll be able to make sure our abilities integrate well into whatever team he selects.
>C. Tell him something else
My lord on a related matter, what do you know about Madara Uchiha... Because I think we may have an issue or an impersonation.
Second, why do you intend to do this? I got to go to the land of lighting after this
You give the monkey a message about joining the strike team. You make it formal, but somehow you doubt Itachi will turn you down anyway.
"Got it, boss." the monkey responds, once you've finished relaying your message. "Konohamaru is just about to head back to the village, so I can just go with him too. Good luck, boss."
The monkey disappears in a puff of smoke.
Now you have a bit of time.
>A. Speak with the Tsuchikage further, ask about something
>B. Go meet up with someone
>C. Just relax while you wait for a message back
At this point, us. We've got a bloodline that we've developed into some useful and novel techniques that he won't be prepared for, and with senjutsu we've got the speed to get the drop on him. We stand a fair chance against Kakashi as he is right now (better than fair, really, we took down three Paths of Pain and he didn't even land a hit), against Kakashi when he wasn't in full fighting condition we'd stomp him.
You decide to head over to the Bakutsugi compound while you wait and practice Earth Release.
You arrive and head straight for the training ground around the side. No one is there right now, so you go ahead and start molding Earth chakra. You can move a little bit of earth around, but you're still a ways away from using any actual jutsu.
"So you finally were able to use Earth Release, huh?" you hear from behind you. It's your uncle Katsuki. "Your father struggled with that for years, and he was never able to quite pull it off. Looks like you have difficulty as well. You keep on trying though. I better not see you give up, Kon!"
As Katsuki laughs, you see Deikida come out to the training field as well.
"Hey, I didn't know you were around." she says. "How have things been? I heard some stuff happened at the Leaf after the summit. Wait, let me guess. Are you here to join us against Akatsuki?"
>A. Tell her what happened
>B. I will be joining you on the strike team
>C. Ask about something
Pretty much all of the above, maybe ask if she has any advice on using earth release? Honest question, would mud techniques be easier than rock? Kinda includes water which we find easy and more maluable
You tell Deikida and Katsuki all about the attack on the village. From fighting Pain to the revival of the Jinchuuriki.
"Woah." Deikida responds, dumbfounded. "That's crazy. I mean, I don't think you're lying, but I can't quite believe it."
"Crazy is right!" Katsuki laughs. "You took on a man with the Rinnegan? Pure insanity! I bet that was quite a battle!"
"Also, I'll be joining you on the strike team." you adds. "We're going after Akatsuki."
"Alright!" Deikida says, pumping her fist. "With you around, we've got nothing to fear."
"Hey, you've got Earth Release. Can you give me some pointers?" you ask. "I've been having trouble molding Earth chakra."
"Sure, I can help you out." Deikida replies. "You might not believe it, but having only one hand means I've had to get really good at molding my chakra. It took forever for me to be able to use hand signs again."
Deikida gives you some instruction on molding your chakra as the afternoon goes on. You find that techniques that manipulate mud could be a lot easier, given its consistency. You'll probably have better luck with those. Your uncle tries to help teach you, but his instructions don't help at all, and he eventually leaves it to Deikida.
Later on in the afternoon, you see Kurotsuchi arrive.
"Hey Kon, good to see you again." she greets you. "I hear you'll be joining us on our operation. Feeling quite confident now. So I hear you did some amazing things. Go on, tell me how you did it."
>A. Tell her about the battle
>B. Tell her about something else
>C. Ask about something
You do as Kurotsuchi asks, and tell again about the battle. This time you go into further detail exactly how the fight went, blow for blow. If Kurotsuchi was sitting, she'd be on the edge of her seat. She's particularly impressed by your description of your Sage Mode techniques.
"You're quite something to defeat a man with the Rinnegan." Kurotsuchi remarks as you finish. "Now I'm almost ashamed for running away like I did. Looks like I've got some work to do."
"How have things been since the summit?" you ask. "We had to leave quickly, I hope it didn't cause too much issue."
"Don't worry too much." Kurotsuchi shakes her head. "Grandfather was upset at first, but after hearing about the attack a few days later, he started feeling bad for doubting you. I'm sure things between our villages are set to be better than ever after this."
Not long after Kurotsuchi finishes, you feel an arm around your shoulder. Something suddenly presses against your face, a mask it seems.
"Special delivery!" says a familiar voice. It's Tenten. "Here's your mask. Guess what, my team is coming with you on the Akatsuki Suppression Mission!"
"Hey, how did she get here?" Kurostuchi asks.
>A. Thanks for the mask
>B. So you finished the technique?
>C. Your team is coming with us?
Laugh some, tell her I'm betting you got a seal on me don't you. Anyone wanna spar? I do recall saying something to tenten about that?
>Mud release wrestle between kurotsuchi and tenten when
>B. So you finished the technique?
>Well shit, and we all thought Neji was gonna be the big prodigy of our class. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna get near the guy in a fight if I can help it, but...look what you just pulled!
Then how else would she.... Oh its because we spent time training with Han and Roshi. Instead of the threedays (example not sure how long it actually takes) it would normally take, we took six. maybe. either that or we're marked.
You're surprised, but certainly not as much as Kurotsuchi, Katsuki and Deikida.
"Thanks for the mask." you say. It's a high quality mask made entirely out of chakra conducting metal just like you asked, monkey pattern and all. "So I guess you finished that technique, then. Looks like you already got a seal on me."
"That's right. I sneaked it on your sword at the funeral when you weren't paying attention." Tenten laughs. "You never use it, but you're still always lugging it around."
"Wait, tell me what's going on!" Kurotsuchi demands. "How did you get to our village? You just appeared there!"
"Why I just reverse summoned myself." Tenten says with a smug grin. "With the legendary Flying Thunder God technique. As I am the first and only kunoichi in history to know it."
You can tell that Tenten is quite proud of herself.
"Shino and Haku know where to go to meet us." Tenten tells you. "They're going to head out tomorrow morning."
"That's some nerve, you know." Kurotsuchi tells Tenten, tapping her finger against her arm. "Showing up in the Stone uninvited. And with THAT jutsu, no less. A great kunoichi you might be, but I'd say you're a bit lacking in tact."
Kurotsuchi is irritated, but Tenten is clearly in far too good of a mood to let it get to her.
"So tell me Kon, who are these?" Tenten asks, motioning to Katsuki, Deikida and Kurotsuchi. "These members from your other side of the family?"
"Yes, Kon." Kurotsuchi adds. "Why don't you introduce us to this person?"
>A. Introduce everyone
>B. Let them introduce themselves
>C. Say something else
>A. Introduce everyone
"Katsuki's my uncle on my dad's side, and Deikida's my cousin. Kurotsuchi's the granddaughter of the Kage here, and a good friend ever since I first came here."
"And this is Tenten. Her family runs the best weapons shop in our village, and she's been with me on a lot of my toughest missions."
Introduce each other. When it comes to tenten and kurotsuchi maybe introduce as our childhood friend and best pal in the leaf and kurotsuchi as the daughter of the tsuchikage and our best pal here in Iwa.. Excluding family.
This is certainly an interesting meeting. Hey anyone wanna spar? Let out some of this tension?
>The shroud of puberty has fallen...begun the waifu wars have.
Oh God, things are about to get crazy. Please say they compete for us rather than us have to pick right now.
Should say hey we are all going together, I've never felt so confident or in safer hands
My argument to them would be "yes, I like you both much more than other girls our age and yes, there's interest there, but god dammit now is not the time because one or more of us could be killed by Akatsuki and or Madara, so let's all just try and survive first".
We should say how happy we are they are working with us, we have never felt safe. By the way Ten ten we nay wanna tell the tsuchikage your here... Technically I just unintentionally aided you in infiltrating another village and I am meant to be a diplomat
Thank fuck for Brock eyes so they can't see our look of fear.
Not to mention the fact that Tenten pretty much neglected her social life for god knows how long working on FTG, so she should realize that she's in no position to demand an immediate resolution. Kurotsuchi has the opposite problem: it's clear that she's been interested for a while, but can't really act on it due to the politics involved.
So for now we all just end up friendzoning each other and accept that there's gonna be some sexual tension for a while. I'd imagine Kon would just be happy that women have started noticing him.
You can feel the tension thick in the air. You decide to hurry make with the introductions.
"Tenten, this is Katsuki, my uncle on my father's side, and head of the Bakutsugi Clan." you start, motioning to Katsuki before moving to the two girls. "This is my cousin Deikida. And this is Kurotsuchi, the Tsuchikage's granddaughter. She's been a good friend ever since I first came here to the Stone."
"Everyone, this is Tenten." you say, turning to the other side. "She's a good friend back from the Leaf. Her family runs the est weapon shop in the village, and she's been with me on some of my toughest missions."
The tension in the air dissipates ever so slightly, before you make another comment in an effort to lighten things up.
"I sure am feeling good about this mission." you say. "I've never felt in safer hands."
Katsuki walks over and puts his arm around your shoulder.
"Oh, I'm sure." he laughs. "With competent kunoichi like these around, Akatsuki will be the least of your worries! Well, you've had a long day, Kon. Come on inside and get something to eat! Come on and join us, everybody!"
Your uncle leads you by your shoulder inside, and everyone follows. Luckily there are so many clan members at the table for dinner, that any chance of it remaining tense slips away, and you all spend the rest of the evening having a relatively good time. Kurotsuchi heads home after eating, while Katsuki shows you to the same room you stayed in before. Deikida offers to let Tenten stay in her room for the night, which she accepts. When you get to your room, a wave of fatigue washes over you. You're still a bit worn out from the night before. You decide it's in your best interest to get as restful a sleep as possible. You fall asleep thinking of tomorrow, and your mission.
>End of Chapter 54
That's all for today everybody. Next thread should be on Friday.
Twitter is @LazeQM
Our Uncle, he knows. Atleast jairiya ain't here.
Did kurotsuchi seem upset when she left Laze did we say goodnight on good terms?
If we face Kakuzu here we should say he is the least of our heart problems. But more importantly who is deidera's partner...they are never alone
Fuck. It is, Haku is here as well it's the perfect set up. Kisamie is gonna go water ball and we can only save one! I SEE YOUR PLAN LAZE!
Ok if Haku knows how sharkskin works we can do this... Name it will be our friend? Hahaha ooohh we are so fucked. If it comes to it we should fight him, let Kurotsuchi fight Deidera cos she can fly
Laze we knew about Kisamie so have we read up on him when we studied the akatski files
So what nation really has claim to our bloodline? Dad was Iwa even if we don't use his name, and his families blood was eventual in developing ours, yet so was mums. I'm genuinely interested because bloodlines always seemed sought after tightly held secrets of each village
The Leaf has the strongest case. They had it recorded before Stone even knew about it. However, since you're the only one who has it, there are no measures in place regarding it. They don't even know if it can be passed down, for all they know it could be freak one off mutation. It can't exactly be a closely guarded secret if they don't know anything about it.
Hah. I like the way Kon's nervous when he says this. Like, if you didn't know him, you wouldn't be able to see it, but we know him so we know. He keeps using the word "good," reinforcing that Kurotsuchi is a "good friend" and Tenten is a "good friend" and he sure is feeling good about this mission. "Yeah, we're just "good friends," nothing more than that. Why would there be anything more than that? Haha, you're crazy. How about that mission?"
I also love how Katsuki picked up on that right away. So... is he gonna gossip?
Well, he may not, but he's not the only one present. Someone's gonna talk, and people are gonna pay attention to these two for the juicy, juicy drama.
We are going to become the Sakura between the Naruto and Sasuke rivalry between these two. If we aren't there already.
I can just see it now. Leaf and Stone citizens alike, hanging in the background, watching both kunoichi and us, thinking one thing: Dis gonna be gud.
