>Last time, on Digimang Quest.
Waking up in transit, our heroes immediately broke themselves free, finding themselves having to square off with a not so chivalrous knight. Having looted him, they find a mysterious coded ring on a necklace, as well as some unreadable bank transactions.
Swiftly moving on, our heroes arrived at their destination; Coded Village, wherein, they met a witch lady with giant hands and Dash once again tried to a spider.
Finally, trying to save his teacher from a nightmare, Dash got his business thoroughly ruined, when she panicked and blasted him into a wall with magic, but he was swiftly healed thanks to lol magic, before the group concedes they should try and find the other human children before attempting to find a way home.
Now, on with the Adventure!
You wake early, something gooey and warm dropping itself heavily into your lap. You startle awake, staring down at the blackish blob thing now sitting on your knees, little yellow eyes peering up at you.
“Bo-bo!” It squeaks, bouncing a few times, before leaping out through the window, hurrying off through the grass towards another series of blobs.
Seems the baby Digimon are entertaining themselves, even if it’s at the expense of your sleep schedule. And, of course, Jeff’s snoring up a storm in the front seat, and even after a solid half hour of trying to curl yourself up as comfortably as possible, you can’t get any sleep with that going on.
The sun’s just peaking over the horizon, as you slip out of the car, clambering a short way up a tree, you manage to rustle around blindly in the leaves for some food, fingers closing around something, you tug it off the branch, coming away with… a steak? How?
Oh well, you’re not complaining. You drop to the ground, angrily ripping into the meat, before even forcing yourself through a morning exercise routine, collapsing in a sweaty heap in the grass as you finish up, breath ragged.
You can hear more of the baby Digimon giggling among themselves nearby, laughing about something or other, when lights flick on in the two houses owned by Miss Kelli and Witchmon. Seems both are awake for now.
>See what those kids are up to
>Figure out a way to stop Jeff snoring
>Check on Ms Kelli
>Meh, call Aru, see what she’s up too.
You shove yourself to your feet, peering among the hills, trying to find the source of the laughter.
After a few minutes of blindly fumbling around in the dawn light, you practically trip over another blob looking creature, a freshly sprouted looking seed glaring up at you. “Hey, watch it jerk!” It squeaks, bouncing off through a few bushes.
Curious, you follow after it, coming on a small circle of blobs, surrounding one Digimon that looks like a sentient cloud of smoke, as it lets off small sparks around itself, creating a small fireworks show for the others.
You watch a few moments, before a set of sparks dwindles towards you, catching a branch on fire.
Acting quickly, you snap it of, stamping the small flame out, as the kids round to face you. “What you want?” The smoke cloud demands, “Witchmon said you not Digimon, what you then?”
>Mind teaching me how to do that? Looks neat
>Nevermind, I’ll be going
You shrug, “Well, actually, I’m... a human!” You add jazz hands to the announcement, shooting the group a grin, as they remain unimpressed, one looking angry that the show was interrupted.
A few bounce away, seemingly bored, “What’s a human?” The smoke creature asks.
You take a moment to consider, “Well, we’re…” That’s a tricky one. “Eh, it’s not important. Say, you mind teaching me to do that?” You ask, pointing at the sparks. “Looks pretty cool.”
The Digimon all suddenly swap glances, before the group scatters, running for the hills. “We did nothing!” The smoke cloud announces over it’s shoulder. “D-don’t tell Witchmon!” They all disappear into hidey holes, winking from sight, before the sudden sound of snapping twigs rushes up behind you, something heavy barrelling into your back.
You crash to the ground face first, catching yourself as you fall.
“I… smelled smoke.” Jeff announces lamely, rolling off your back. “Sorry about that. Thought I’d come check it out.”
You wipe some of the dew and mud from your fall off your hands, before glancing over at the twin. “No worries, I put it out as soon as it caught.”
“What started it?” He asks, rubbing at his eyes.
You jerk a thumb, at wherever the kids ran off too. “Buncha kids messing around with fire powers near the bushes, probably not the best idea. Still it was nothing serious, the bush is pretty green, fire wouldn’t have taken very well.”
He sighs, “Man, I was scared for nothing.” He slumps over in the grass, shutting his eyes, “It’s too early…” He groans.
>Wanna work out with me? That’ll wake you up
>Do you and your sister ever stop fighting?
>Get some sleep, I’m gonna… (Write in)
You thump a fist to his shoulder, “Come on, let’s work out, that’ll wake you up.”
He groans some more, rubbing at his eyes, “Do we have too?” He tries to curl up in a ball as you roll him to sit upright. “I just wanna get a few more hours.” With a bit more prodding, you get him on his feet, and he just kind of relents to it.
“Jog around the village, should be enough.” You figure, taking off at a steady pace.
Jeff spends a few moments griping, before he takes off at a dead sprint, blazing ahead of you for a good thirty seconds, before his speed drops to almost nil, his breath already ragged as he barely moves above a walk.
“Pacing dude.” You tell him as you draw up alongside him, “You gotta keep something in reserve if you wanna go for anything longer.”
He just nods without words, his face red as he struggles to match your pace, heavy thighs working as you start to pull ahead, you arrive back at the car a good minute ahead of Jeff, as he wheezes and trundles his way back to the car, bending double as he finishes up, hacking up a heavy load of spit.
Man, dude’s out of shape. You fetch him some water, which he gratefully gulps down, sliding down the side of the car. He finishes the hole pitcher in one long draw, before setting it aside, “Thanks…” He groans, “Well… you’re right. Awake now.” He draws his hand down his face, clearing the sweat off.
Certainly a different attitude to his sisters, you figure as DemiDevimon swoops down out of the dark, landing on your shoulder. “Morning.” She holds a leathery wing out, the necklace she’d found at the truck yesterday on her limb. “I was asking around with the other kids in the village, but none of them recognised these symbols either.”
You take it, running the ring through your fingers a moment, cold metal under your fingers, but nothing happens. “Weird.” You toss it back in the car, something to consider later.
>Good hustle Jeff, you didn’t quit
>How would the newborns know what it means Demi?
>Time to check on Ms Kelli
>Ask Witchmon about magic
>Wake the others already
You lean down and offer a fist bump to Jeff, “Good hustle, you didn’t quit. Keep that up and you’ll be an Olympian in no time.”
He shrugs, “Uh huh. We’ll see. When Gotsumon flies.”
“Right, well I’m gonna go check on Ms Kelli real quick, back in a few.”
He nods, as the bat Digimon flaps off your arm to the twins leg, while you make your way towards the teachers hut. With a quick knock, you’re called in, noticing a small catflap in the door.
Ms Kelli is sat in a rocking chair, another group of small digimon sat around her, as she seems to giving a maths lesson.
She spots you with a smile, as she sets them a basic equation before slipping out of the group to talk. “Morning Dash. You’re up early.” She greets, teasing some fingers through her hair.
“One of the kids woke me, thought it was hilarious, too.”
She pouts, “Oh. And we told them all to leave you all alone too!” She huffs, “Witchmon will have words for them, I’m sure.”
You shrug it off, “It’s not that big a deal, really.”
She glances back to you. “Are you sure?” Another nod, “Well, okay then. I’m so sorry about them, but… well, you’re free to use my bed while I’m teaching?”
You shake your head again, “No thanks, I’m already wide awake at this point.”
She glances back at the group, as one finally figures out the problem, before setting another one. “Well then, what was it you wanted?” She asks, coiling a strand of hair around her finger, attention still divided to the group of kids.
>Just checking you were alright.
>Could you teach me how you threw me across the room like that?
>I thought of a favour you could do for me (Write in)
>>Just checking you were alright.
>Also, I'm looking for Witchmon. I have a few questions and well, I won't bother you while you teach...
Both are fairly attractive, but it's not the best pic of this character.
Aruaru isn't a blond though and lacks a southern accent. Also the giant spider part is kinda freaky. I mean witchmon has massive hands.. but.. that could be a plus.
Also, I agree with anon that the giant spider is pretty attractive. I like her no matter which form she's in.
Not to say Witchmon isn't pretty great on her own, though.
I'm having a hard time with her human form. Maybe it's just her terrible sense of fashion.
Witchmon is just a hell of a lot cuter to me.
“Just checking you were alright. Wondering why you were up so early.”
She beams a smile, “Aww, you’re a sweet kid, checking up on me.” She pats your arm softly, “Thanks Dash.”
You give her a grin back, “No worries, say, since you’re busy, mind pointing me to Witchmon? Wanted to ask her about some magic stuff.”
She smiles, pointing towards another door, “Sure, she’s in the house just behind mine, go on ahead.”
You slip out the back door, before knocking at Witchmons, another call inviting you in, Witchmon turns to greet you. “Well howdy there Mr Man, gone and got yourself all bruised again?” She smirks, one giant hand kneading a ball of dough.
“I’m fine, actually, I was just wondering, would you mind teaching me how to do this magic stuff?”
She frowns, a black tattoo of a cat peeling off her skin and floating over to you, inspecting you closely, it’s body entirely two dimensional. “Now I could, but I don’t sense much of a mana pool in you boy. Your teacher’s struggling and hers is huge by comparison.” She plucks her hat off, setting it aside as she works, “At best, you could maybe cast a few utility spells, but that’s about it.”
“How much do I have?” I have to ask.
She turn to consider you, abandoning the dough for a moment, scratching her chin as she studies, “I keep forgetting you humans can’t measure it on your own, quite the trouble, don’t you all know that?”
She holds her hand out, the cat tattoo sweeping back and sticking to her arm again. “Hand me that there Digivice, and I can modify it to tell you.”
You pass your phone over, and she pulls it close to her, whispering something over it. The phone glows for a moment, and she hands it back, nodding as you inspect it.
“You’re still low, after I dipped into using your power to patch you up after yesterday.” She sighs. “Still, when you’re full, you could probably cast something basic, depending on what element you want to study.”
“What are my choices?” You ask.
She sidles up next to you, pointing at the screen, to a new app with a spellbook logo. Opening it, she looks closely, “Looks like you’ve got an affinity for electricity and fire.” She smirks. “Not bad to have. With your mana pool, I can teach you… how to light your hands on fire, or to generate and conduct a weak electrical current." She smirks, "Little work and you can be quite the little firecracker, huh sugar?”
>Nah, this sounds dangerous
>Fire, I wanna punch shit!
>Electricity, I wanna be a human battery!
>Fire, I wanna punch shit!
Better survival applications than being a battery I think. Not sure if the electricity option gives us the ability to make a sufficiently decent spark that we can light stuff on fire
“Can you teach me the fire thing? I wanna punch shit!”
She smirks, “Sure can honey pie, just hold still and we’ll see what happens.”
She bends at the waist, lips pressing up close to your ear, and starts to whisper something, so quiet, and so fast that you can’t even process what she’s saying. Your vision blacks out for a moment, before a huge wall of numbers and letters fly past your vision against the black background, flying upwards sickeningly fast, blurring into one solid green mass, flying upwards and upwards and-
Something sweet presses into your mouth and you cough instinctually, eyes snapping open. “There ya go sweetheart, you were just having a funny reaction to the code is all.” You pull a spoon out of your mouth, tossing it on the counter and rolling whatever was on it in your mouth. “It’s just jam, you can swallow.” Witchmon assures you. “Now go and give it a shot, you probably won’t be able to manage much with how low your mana is, but… just give it a shot.”
You look down, willing the fire to pour from hands and… a single flame shoots from your right thumb, flickering like a candle for a few moments, your hand completely immune to the heat, before it snuffs out.
“Sweeeet.” You grin, your phone affirming you’re out of power.
>How do I recharge my mana?
>Thanks Witchmon, you’re the coolest!
>Can you teach the others?
“Thanks Witchmon, you’re the coolest!” You nod to her, lifting a hand for a high five.
Her enormous hand claps against yours for a moment, “No problem young’un, just don’t go trying to invent a new spell on your own, that’s a whole road of pain you don’t want to go down.”
You nod, before a thought strays through your head, “How… do I recharge my mana exactly?”
She points to the dough, as she goes back to kneading it, only two fingers required for the job, “Rest and food, in equal parts, just like anything else hun.” She pinches your cheeks between another two fingers, the cloth of her gloves soft like silk. “Now go and run along, alright, I gotta finish this bread now, you hear?” You start to step towards the door, before a tray of pastries shunt themselves into your hands, “And take some food for your friends now, y’hear?”
You make your way back to the car, finding the girls and the rest of the Digimon awake now, Eva complaining about neck problems from eating in the car, lounges atop the hood with Demi, resting against the windshield, while Casey is still sitting inside, away from the others, tapping through her phone, while Jeff is resting against a nearby tree, with the rest of the Digimon around him.
You set the food down with the bigger group, Hagurumon and Elecmon digging in quickly, while the others wait their turn. You snag a chocolatey-flakey thing.
>Hey Jeff, wanna learn magic?
>Casey looks like she could use someone to talk to after last night.
>Ask Elecmon if he grew up here too.
>Tell Eva (Write in)
You grab an extra one and head for the car, leaning in through the window. “Mornin.”
She jumps, having been oblivious to your approach. “O-oh, Dash. Morning.” She’s leaning her back against her door, legs covering the whole back seat.
You toss one of the pastries to her, “Eat up, we got plenty.”
She tucks her phone away, a smile spreading on her face as she sniffs her food. “Oh? Strawberries, cool.” She bites the thing in half in one go, practically inhaling the food.
I make a point to fetch another one for her, while I chew mine, thinking about how to approach the subject.”
But, she’s already starting by the time I return, pulling her glasses off, she squints at me, “S-sorry, about last night, I mean. You probably think I’m a fr-freak for wanting to stick around here, when we could go home, huh?” She tucks her legs up to her chest, hugging her knees as she eats, making space for me to sit.
>We’ve gotta get home Casey, you won’t mess with that, will you?
>Course not, you’re my friend.
>Well, if you wanna stay, it's your choice ultimately.
>>Course not, you’re my friend.
>Well, if you wanna stay, it's your choice ultimately.
>Also you know. I couldn't get into your pants if I was rude... unless you're yearning for acceptance. In which case if you suck my dick I'll consider everything you do totally normal.
You nudge her leg, “Of course I don’t, c’mon Case, you’re my friend.”
A small smile spreads on her face as she chews, her stammer calming, “Thanks.” She mutters simply, a hand hanging out over her knees limply.
I nod, “Besides, it’s not like I’m gonna force you to go home, even if we do. I’m not the boss of you. It’s your choice ultimately.”
She frowns, “But, Miss Kelli-”
“Can’t tell you what to do, if you don’t want too.” You reassure her. “What’s gonna happen? She’ll give you detention? You'll get expelled?”
She giggles a little bit, choking a little on the last of her food, before forcing it down. “You’re right… I’m in charge of what I can do here. I think that’s why I’d like to stick around… at least a little longer.” The hand she’s got out past her knee swishes back and forth a little.
>Wanna see this magic shit I learned?
What the fuck?
"Oh girls appreciate honesty blah blah blah, be more open about your feelings."
Mother fucker I'm being as honest as possible right now. Now it's "Oh shit nigger what are you doing lie!"
I grab her hand, holding it gently, watching a solid wave of pink crawl up from under her collar, her hand’s swishing stopping as she becomes very busy inspecting her knee.
“Wh-when was the last time you cleaned your hands?” She asks suddenly.
“About a few minutes ago.” You shrug, made sure you did it before touching the food. “Oh yeah, wanna see this magic shit I learned from Witchmon?”
She looks up as you check your phone, after cramming down both the sweets, you’re back up to one mana. Might as well waste it to show off, why not?
Concentrating, you hold your free hand up in front of her face, feeling heat build in your thumb, before it bursts out of the top, Casey flinching back for a moment, pulling your hand with hers, before she leans in closer, pushing her glasses back on. “Whoaaaa…” She leans forward, waving her free hand above the fire, “It’s hot and everything. How’d you learn that?”
You give her a grin, “Witchmon just whispered something weird in my ear, then I saw all these weird symbols, next thing I know…” The flame gutters out. “And this is just when I’m low on energy. When I’m topped up, apparently I can do my whole hands.” You mock punch the headrest in front of you.
She smirks at your enthusiasm, before her face lights up, “Oh, yeah, before I forget.” She digs her phone back out, “That Knightmon from yesterday? Well..” She pulls up a wanted posted on her screen, “He was in jail in Khoman Doe, until a bunch of Sukamon offered to serve his sentence for him. Don’t know why he was after us… but it seems we have ourselves to blame a little for him getting hold of us.”
“Not to mention that other guy.” You muse, “The one that knocked us all to sleep.”
She nods, subconsciously rubbing her thumb over the back of your hand “Don’t know who that was though, never saw any trace of him.”
>I think he looked like a… floating tapir thing.
>Casey, you wanna let go of my hand?
>Doesn’t matter now, wanna see if you can learn magic too?
>“That Knightmon from yesterday? Well..” She pulls up a wanted posted on her screen, “He was in jail in Khoman Doe, until a bunch of Sukamon offered to serve his sentence for him. Don’t know why he was after us… but it seems we have ourselves to blame a little for him getting hold of us.”
>>I think he looked like a… floating tapir thing.
>Do you want me to do research while you try to learn some magic?
You scratch your head, thinking back. “I think… he looked like a floating tapir thing. With tusks, too.”
She hums, scrolling through her pages. “Nope… nothing. Sorry Dash.”
“Hey, it’s not your fault.” You shrug, before giving her a hand a little tug, “Come on, let’s see if you can learn any magic too?”
She nods, before glancing at the front of the car, Eva still laying on the hood, before Casey slowly lets your hand go. “Sounds like a plan.”
The walk back up to the house is short, Elecmon and Hagurumon hurrying to catch up with you as you walk, Witchmon once more turning to face you. “Howdy?” She grins as she spots Casey, “I’m guessing you want to learn some spells too?”
Casey nods, and Witchmon adds the spellbook to her phone as well. “Seems you’re good for… electricity and earth.” Witchmon mutters, “Though you have a much bigger mana pool then the boy.” You peer closer, Casey’s MP sitting at fifteen, as Witchmon explains her spells, the conductivity thing, or the ability to lift rocks and launch them as projectiles.
“I’d like the earth thing.” Casey nods.
Witchmon grins and bends down, the numerous leather belts creaking with the movement, as she whispers in Casey’s ears, the girl’s eyes rolling back in her head for a moment.
She starts to gibber mindlessly for a moment, before Witchmon plucks a strawberry up and pushes it into Casey’s open mouth, gently clamping the girls jaw shut, as Casey comes back to her senses.
“If you’re going to try it, please do so outside.” Witchmon asks, Casey quickly hurrying out.
With a clench of her fist, she swings one arm upwards dramatically, staring intently at a square foot of dirt, teeth gritted, before a head sized rock bursts up through the dirt. “Yeah!” Casey grunts, bringing her hand higher, the rock wobbling unsteadily.
“Don’t try and hold it to long now!” Witchmon calls through a window, “You’ll burn mana when you’re not used to it.”
The rock falls back to the ground with a heavy thump, rolling away, Casey sagging to rest her hands on her knees. “Good job Casey!” Hagurumon cheers her.
“Most impressive, and adaptable.” Elecmon muses, nodding his head, “I’m surprised that you humans can perform such feats. I thought that sorcery was just something Digimon could do.”
You shoot the girl a thumbs up as well, before an enormous shattering sound splits the air, coming from the south side of the village. “What in tarnation was that?” Witchmon demands, bustling outside, her broom appearing from nowhere as she takes to the air.
You run to the top of the hill, glancing down, you see a group of three Digimon, walking in through a hole in Witchmon’s shimmering defensive Dome, a giant with a metal mask, covered in chains leading, with two dinosaurs made of flame behind him, all three glancing around, before the giant’s eyes lock on you, blue flames bursting out from his skin.
>Let’s kick their asses!
>Casey you get the others, we can hold them with Witchmon
>Walk down and greet them, see what happens.
“Casey, you go get the others, I’ll keep them busy with Witchmon, alright?”
“Just… stay safe, okay?” She nods, digivolving Hagurumon into Guadromon in a flash, before taking off down the hill, back towards the car, as you slam the button on your own phone, Leomon roaring as he stands tall over you.
Witchmon’s already zooming down ahead of the group, her broom carrying her ahead, her cat tattoo coming to life, as she pulls up just short of the three. “I don’t know who you are, but… I don’t trust anyone that just comes crashing in here like that. Y’all better get on your own way real quick, or else!” She warns.
The masked giant turns to his two followers and snaps his fingers. Their flames bloom, increasing in intensity, the grass around the creatures quickly browning, then lighting aflame. “We’re here for the humans, witch! Stay out of our way, or suffer the flames of wrath!”
Leomon snarls, rushing ahead of you, as you make your way down the hill, his sword slipping free of it’s scabbard, while Guardromon slides to a halt, throwing an arm wide to catch you from running any further ahead, her missile launcher folding out of her arm as she takes aim.
Witchmon meanwhile simply shakes her head, “Well, I’m sorry sugar, but I don’t take to kindly to threats. Now, y’all better leave, afore I put your little fires out.” She winks, sticking her tongue out playfully, driving the firey enemies to a frenzy.
“See how she likes being an egg then boys!” The leader growls, a chain coiling off his wrist, he lashes out with it, smashing Witchmon off of her broom, the two firey creatures advancing on her, as the giant turns it’s gaze up to you.
Leomon leaps, landing in the middle of the group, picking a target
>The giant, protect Dash!
>The lizards, protect Witchmon
>Fist of the Beast King: 18 stamina. 2d10 damage
>Beast Sword 13 stamina. 1d15 damage, but puts Leomon in close range.
>Beast Fang: 8 stamina.1d10 damage
>Basic attack: 5 stamina. 1d8 damage
>>The giant, protect Dash!
>>Beast Fang: 8 stamina.1d10 damage
It's going to be a long fight, I think, so better not burn our stamina out too quickly
The other two seems like smaller fries, so Dash 's going to have better luck against them
He swivels, aiming at the two dinosaurs, “Fist of the Beast King!” He snarls, the lion shaped blast flying from his fist. The blast catches the two in the back, sending them stumbling, each footstep leaving more flames to pool in the grass. Still, it seem like the blow didn’t do as much as it should have, the flames on his foe only growing more intense, starting to glow white hot now.
The giant meanwhile, has his progress unimpeded, multiple chains uncoiling from his body, as he glares up at you, the chains flying forwards from his body, snaking towards you, flames dancing along there coils.
Guadromon jumps in front of you, hefting her heavy, steel frame between you and the blow, just in time, the chains snapping and lashing against her front with cruel blows, knocking her on her ass, before she got a chance to get her shot off.
“Just. Stick behind me!” She grits out, eyes narrowing at your foe. “Casey wants you safe, then you’re staying safe!”
“Guardromon, you alright?” You ask, spotting the hefty dent in the plating on her left arm.
“Just… fine!” She asserts, “I… can keep him busy!”
She forces herself back to her feet, as Witchmon picks herself back up broom flying to her with a snap, she takes to the air, pointing back towards the house, and muttering a spell, as she swoops low, her broom coming level with you, “Hop on!” She orders, “These idiots want to play with fire? We’ll see how they like fire.” She grins, as a tower of water rises from the well, flying towards the battlefield.
Dash: HP 30/30
>Stick in cover, Guardromon’s a wall
>Get on the broom, mobility is important
Leomon: HP 70/70, Stamina 27/60
>Focus on the lizards
>Go for the giant
>Go for the giant
>Deal with the lizards.
>Get on the broom, mobility is important
"Guardromon, fire from afar, you were already heavily injured no need for you to get more busted up.
The cavalry is on the way!"
>Go for the giant
>Deal with the lizards.
Now that she's freed
You clamber on to the broom, “Guardromon, pull back, you’re already busted up pretty bad, just cover us from the afar, the others are coming!”
She nods, swivelling about, she starts to retreat, as Witchmon grabs your hand and forces you to grab her around the waist, riding sidemount on her broom, as the water comes rushing towards the battlefield.
Leomon ducks to the side, rushing towards the giant, sword drawn, he leaps on his back, only for a burst of blue flames to knock Leomon aside, bursting off of the giant’s back. Leomon is knocked backwards, patting out flames in his mane, but otherwise unharmed, while the giant’s chains lash upwards at the broom, all flying well clear of Witchmon and yourself, before Guardromon’s barrage catches the attacker in the face, knocking him backwards a few inches.
Witchmon raises a hand high, the water rising high in the air, before slamming down on the charging fire lizards with an enormous crushing sound, blasting both creatures back through the hole in the shield, a blast of golden showing them digivolving backwards into what looks like sentient candles, hurriedly doing their best to hop away.
“Got ‘em!” Witchmon cheers, readjusting your hands, pushing them higher as the witch nosedives to dodge another chain.
“Looks like they were a couple of washouts.” Leomon agrees, as Devimon crests over the hill, dropping Eva at the top, Jeff and Gotsumon on their heels. You can juuust make out Jeff yelling at Gotsumon to digivolve, both of them looking distressed.
The hulking giant snarls, surrounded now, chains whipping around like octopus tentacles, dancing with flames. “Fools! Even all five of you can’t stop I, SkullMeramon!”
“How about this!” Casey yells, rounding the hill with Ms Kelli on her heels, slamming something on her phone, a ghostly version of Knightmon appears in front of her, shimmering slightly, it’s giant sword held ready to attack!
How the hell did she do that?
Still, that seems to have put an air of hesitation about your foe...

... I have shit luck
I know they over ride in spook unless you got a 20 on a d20. So I wouldn't be surprised if they do here.
Of course that could just be damage.
I'm fine with it and he's done it in most of his quests.
“Everyone, unload on him!” You roar, as SkullMeramon is pounded with projectiles from every side, razon winds slashing down from Witchmon, Guardromon and Leomon launching their attacks side by side, as Knightmon rushes in to slash him, knocking the masked giant on his back, before a rock comes slamming in from Gotsumon, only for Devimon to land the final blow, twin red beams bursting forth from her claws and slashing into SkullMeramon’s chest.
It lets out a hideous scream with the last hit, “Nnnnnn- NOOOOOO!” It thrashes about in the grass, his flames going out and chains going limp. “You can’t!”
His body is dissolving into multicoloured motes, like stray pixels, before they burst apart with one final collapse, half of them floating off in a loose cloud, while the others recondense, in a flare of red light, leaving behind a red egg, with orange circles lining all over it
Witchmon laughs, sweeping her broom down to land.
>”What just happened to SkullMeramon?”
>”Casey, how did you do that?”
>Your hand is still…. squeeze
>Good job everyone, time to rest
You’re suddenly very aware of your hands… You squeeze the soft orb it’s been wrapped around, earning a soft elbow to the ribs, “Careful there, frisky.” Witchmon chuckles.
You just grin back, “Say, what just happened to SkullMeramon? Why did he…” You gesture at the egg, as the others close in, Leomon reverting back to a Tsunomon after how much energy he expended on the fight, while Casey tends to Guardromon.
She gestures around, “Not all the kids here are born manually.” Her lips quirk as she takes your arm and shifts it downwards, back to her hip. “Oftentimes, when a Digimon is defeated in battle, instead of their data dissipating back into the world, they’ll lose some of their data and reform as an egg, starting over as a Fresh Digimon. Depending on what data they retain, they may or may not even remember who they were before hand.”
She gestures upwards at the air, “Though, judging by the amount of data he just lost, I doubt that he’ll be remembering much.”
Huh. “So, Digimon don’t die?”
She shakes her head, “Not don’t, it’s just a rarity. It takes something awful fierce to take us out for good.”
Right, “Well, thanks for the info, I gotta go ask Casey something.” She floats off as you run over to the girl. “How’d you do that?” You ask, as Guardromon transforms back to Hagurumon, wincing slightly. “With Knightmon, I mean?”
Casey holds her phone out, pointing to the encyclopedia app that appeared on her phone when she’d scanned your fallen opponent yesterday. “A lucky guess, I opened this, and pressed Knightmon’s name, and out he popped. Unfortunately…” She opens the app, the page blank, “It’s gone now. One time use only, it seems.”
“Well, you probably saved our ass.” You figure, scooping the exhausted looking Tsunomon up. “Good work Case.”
She smiles at the praise, before Hagurumon shifts back again, to Kapurimon sighing in exhaustion. “Right, hang on dude, I’ll get you something to eat.” She picks up her fuzzball and hurries off.”
>Tsunomon, you wanna eat too?
>See if you can track those two lizards down
>Thank the others for the help
>You’re not done with Witchmon yet…
Dash shall remember this moment. The moment he copped a feel on someone who could obliterate him with a flick of a finger.
It`s been a few days and he`s kissed a spider lady, slept with a girl clinging to him, had another girl who was wearing nothing but a towel hip check him and now this. Boy is gonna need some release soon and I hope it affects his mind around the girls.
You glance down at Tsunomon. “I’m guessing you’re starving too?” He nods, “Alright, I’ll make sure you’re fed.” You call Casey back, handing the fuzzball off with a wink, congratulating him on a good job, as the twins make it to the bottom of the hill.
“Good work guys.” You call to them, as Devimon swoops down. “Couldn’t have done it without you.” You snap your fingers at the flying Digimon, “Hey, would you mind taking a look for any Digimon out there making a run for it? I’m not sure what they are, but it’s probably something to with fire.”
She grins, “I’ll see what I can do.” She chuckles, flapping off.
Eva stomps her foot, “You can’t tell her what to do! She’s with me.”
“She’s already gone.” Jeff sighs, “Just shut up and enjoy the win, okay?”
Gotsumon trundles up in the rear, ignored by Jeff, “Thanks for the help to you as well.” You reassure him, earning a smile from the rock man.
“Heh, well… I tried. Just don’t know what’s happening to me.” He smiles apologetically. “Jeff was hammering the button, but it just wouldn’t take.”
You shrug, “We still won, I’m sure when you really need it, it’ll take, right Jeff?” The twin shrugs, mumbling something that sounds agreeable.
Eva rolls her eyes, “God, when you’ve all stopped being women, can we get some grub?”
Jeff flicks her between the eyes, rounding on his heels, “C’mon Gotsumon.” He sighs, “I could use a nap after that.”
Ms Kelli and Witchmon split, your teacher heading back into the main village to help calm the children, while Witchmon seems to be trying to restore the burnt grass, to little success.
>Follow the twins, get something to eat
>See if you can help Witchmon
>Ms Kelli can probably use a hand
>>Ms Kelli can probably use a hand
Put in some face time with the kids, maybe gain a following as the leader of a group of heroes.
Also put in some face time with sensei so she can give us some face time.
“Hey, Witchmon, need a hand?” You call out to her.
She spares you a glance, considering, “Fetch me a fruit from that there tree.” She points. “I need something sugary real fierce.”
You hurry up, lobbing yourself at a branch, you manage to tug down… well it looks like an orange… but it’s purple. Do you still call it an orange? Or is it a purple? Or…
You peel the fruit, splitting it into sections, before Witchmon opens her mouth expectantly, hands fluttering through the air, as if typing on an invisible keyboard. “Be a doll and feed me, would ya?”
You shrug, placing one on the tip of her tongue, watching her nod appreciatively, chew and swallow, sighing with satisfaction as she opens her mouth again, tongue curling to loop the fruit out of your grip, earning a playful wink, as the grass slowly returns to life.
By the time she’s done, only one bit of the fruit is left, which she plucks from your grasp, tossing it at your face, you quickly snatch it out of the air, and good lord that shit is sweet. You can practically feel renewed energy flowing through your veins after a single bite.
“They’re astounding for restoring stamina, vitality and vigour.” Witchmon muses, licking one of her fingertips slowly. “Hope you’ve got something handy in mind for all that energy.”
>Nah, I’m just gonna chill with the others
>Nah, just gonna give Ms Kelli a hand
>Sweet time to get swole.
>Well, Witchmon, since you mention it… (Write in)
Pastebin if you'll do it bruv.
I love the smut but it totally derailed Background character entirely. Entirely.
Still followed but.. you know. Hard to do anything when every vote is "FUCK THE THING!"
Wait wait wait, before we go any further I nee to know something. Will losing his virginity (or just being a manslut) negatively affect Dash's chances with the other girls in the running for his harem?
“Well Witchmon, since you mention it… I was wondering if you know any magic tricks that could help with… growing things?”
She smirks, “Well shoot, didn’t you see how I fixed my garden?” She waves around at the grass with a playful smile. “But, that wasn’t what you had in mind, now was it?” She asks, one of her fingers tickling your chin, as thick as your wrist.
“Well, I was thinking more-”
A shrill cry cuts through your sentence. “Wiiiitchmoooon!” Something red whines from next to your ankle, both of you looking down. “I’m hungry, and firsty! Which way is the well again?”
She points, before reconsidering, “Oh shoot, and I drained the well too. Guess I gotta go top her up.” She shoots you a look, “Such a shame. Come on now Jyarimon.” She claps her hand and the red blob bounced into her lap, the two zooming off on her broomstick.
You hunch over a little, hands in your pockets, as Devimon comes flapping back, shaking her head. “No sign of them.” She sighs, “They probably went underground, literally, or they’ve disappeared into the forest.” She gives you an apologetic shake of the head, “Would you like a lift up the hill?”
You shrug, letting her pick you up under the arms “Sure, mind taking me…”
>To the well
>Back to the jeep
>To the houses, want to give Ms Kelli a hand
