>This is a quest taking place in an alternate version of the Naruto world during the same time period as the story, with a few notable differences. You will be playing as Kon Karagowa, a young Leaf Jonin. Your character is defined by your choices, so write-ins are always encouraged. And remember to have fun!
BEFORE WE LEAVE
I think it might behoove us to ask Shikamaru about the village politics of pursuing a relationship with Kurotsuchi.
We just go up to him, mention we're interested in a girl, and she's probably interested in us, buuuut she's also the granddaughter of the Tsuchikage and has a Kekkei Genkai that isn't really restricted to a clan.
You wake up and eat a somber breakfast with your Uncle, Sasuke and his mother before leaving the Uchiha compound. It isn't raining, but the sky is overcast. A similarly dreary day to the last time you wore your funeral attire three years ago. You head to the site where the ceremony is taking place to see most of the village's ninja gathered. You see picture frames surrounded by flowers for all the victims of the attack. Nearly two hundred in all. Two of the frames in particular have the most offerings. The pictures of Fugaku Uchiha and Choza Akimichi, both the heads of their clan. Sasuke and his mother immediately make their way in the direction of Fugaku's picture. You see nearly every other Leaf ninja you know here as well. Choji and his teammates are with the rest of their clans near Choza's picture, as you'd expect. Most of the rest are just going around paying their respects to all the victims.
Near the podium set up at the front you see the Hokage sitting in a chair, Neji at his side. You can't imagine he's feeling very well, and he doesn't quite look it either. He must be forcing himself to attend.
You do notice some key people missing, most notably Kakashi Sensei. He must still be resting. Tsunade Sensei is also not here, so you assume she is still looking after patients.
>A.Go talk to someone (specify)
>B.Leave the others to themselves and pay your respects
Go to Sauske, pat him on the back and tell him he's got friends and you'll make your dad proud you know it.
Art of Kon vs Pain
>Laze just came back and there's already people ripping each others dicks off because of swords
I love and hate you faggots so much
You approach Sasuke and the rest of the Uchiha clan, but try not to intrude too much. As you hang back, you see Shizune holding Shizuka and approaching Fugaku's picture. The other clan members don't pay them too much mind, so they must still not know.
Sasuke payed his respects and is talking to several older clan members. You leave him to it, but after a while he starts to look uncomfortable. He looks around and sees you, then excuses himself to approach you.
"They all seem to have high hopes for me." Sasuke starts. "Though I could do without them constantly pegging me to surpass Itachi. They just keep talking about how great my father said I was."
"You'll do just fine." you assure him. "Don't let the pressure get to you."
"I know." Sasuke responds. "I already made my decision, after all. So Itachi wanted to know if we wanted a chance to speak. I turned it down, since I already spoke in front of the clan, and I'm not too keen on trying to come up with something to say in front of the whole village."
>A.Yeah, I'll pass too
>B.Actually, I want to speak
>C.You really should go up there
So, last thread we learned how to use Water release. There's a good chance we're incapable of using Fire, and we already have Lightning and Wind. If we want to make an excuse to see Kurotsuchi, having her tutor us in fire might be worthwhile.
Let's use it until it breaks, then. If we like it, think we can do more with a cutting edge, we'll get a decent sword. Or just use Kusanagi.
Alternatively, we could prep a jutsu meant to shatter the sword via a single huge attack using Impact release, based around speed. Breaks the sword and the person being attacked.
Yes we can but there's always the risk that Kabuto or any other guy with a snake contract will re summon the sword back to him and leave us unarmed
We could counter that by getting snake contract ourselves
I'm more of a fan of spiders but that's just me
Considering we have healing tricks and a damned awesome shield I have an idea for our ultimate technique.
>Secret Technique: Natures Pulse
Using a number of Seals on his chest, Kon stores a vast amount of Natural Chakra within a number of them. Then Kon's chakra flow either stops or is reduced to a near still state one of these seals is released revitalizing him completely and healing any and all damage (including rebooting his heart) taken. These Seals can be recharged by meditating to recover them.
Kinda like Heracles beserkr fro Fate Stay/Night, we have the shield skin and reboot a number of times when killed
>C.You really should go up there
"As head of the Uchiha now, the village will need to know your with them. Distrust between the clans will only break us further apart and allow our enemies to destroy us. They need you, Neji and the other clan leaders to work together and show that you're willing to do so. Honestly they won't listen me. I'm just some clanless scrub who gets lucky. A lot."
>I'd like to pass but I think what the village needs right now is some more hope, something to bring their spirits up, I think an ill looking hokage may not be what they want. They may feel better if they see us up there. Ill lead if you like.
Eh. I'm more of a Dog kind of guy.
I was hoping our bro, Kiba would let us adopt on of their dogs or something...
So we could be like Kakashi-sensei and have a dog summon contract.
Plus, dogs and monkeys hate each other in Japanese lore so it'd be hilarious to have the two in our team.
After all the monkey hates the dog for being the first animal to travel in space.
You can have two contracts.
I would like to just have the one contract for now.
We have things to refine already. Impact-based Shunshin, possible flight, Lee might be able to help us refine our Monkey style taijutsu, and then there's Earth and Water style techniques to learn.
you forgot everything Sage and Nature chakra related, as well as a sonar based sensory jutsu using our feet. Also, Konohamaru, making sure we have an heir, I'm honestly tempted to drop off a sample of our sperm just in case we croak before we make a few crotch goblins.
>Vote to fap
>A.Fap with right hand?
>B. Fap with the left hand?
>C. Use a ninja sex tool to fap with?
>D. Get a kunoichi to help
>E. Get another shinobi to help
>F. SUMMON KING YEMMA!
You consider it, but you really have no idea what you'd say.
"Yeah, I'll pass too." you sigh. "I think anything I said would ring pretty hollow."
"I'm just not a fan of the whole 'village's two heroes' angle they've been pushing since the attack." Sasuke remarks. "There were far more people than just us that contributed to saving the village. Including every one of them." Sasuke motions to the picture frames.
You and Sasuke go around and finish paying your respects, with a bit of time left before the speakers go on.
You both take a seat as Choji takes the podium, looking far more confident than you ever expected. His eyes are filled with resolve.
"My name is Choji Akimichi." Choji begins. "I hereby swear that, as the sixteenth head of the Akimichi, I will entrust the oath entrusted to me by the fifteenth to the child that will become the seventeenth! In order to protect both the Yamanaka and the Nara clans and to protect the Leaf Village, I, Choji Akimichi, will come forth from my chrysalis and as a butterfly spread my wings!"
Choji pauses for a moment. "Since even before the founding of the Leaf Village, the leaders of the Akimichi Clan have always sworn this oath to protect their allies, the Nara and Yamanaka Clans. When we became part of the Leaf Village, the oath expanded to protect all of its people. Of course I was sad about my father's passing. But he died fulfilling the oath he made when he became the head of the Akimichi Clan. He gave his life to protect the people he cared about. Ever since I was young, I disliked fighting. I was always trying to avoid it. But one thing I will never do is stand by while the people I care about may be hurt. Like my father, I will put my life on the line to defend them. Just like every ninja that we're paying our respects to today. I will no longer be afraid! I will stand proud to defend everyone! And I know that all my fellow Leaf ninja will do the same."
His family breeds dogs. Said dogs are in many cases sapient. He knows all too well the experience of having trouble looking a friend in the eyes because you remember helping them produce a viable sperm sample.
I've said this before, but there's actually a fairly good chance that Kon might be Hokage someday. He's powerful, he's respected as a village hero, he's familiar with diplomatic work, he's the student of a previous Hokage and the trusted right-hand man of the current one. When Itachi ever steps down (which admittedly won't be for a long time, dude's a workaholic), Kon would be a decent choice for people to back.
We need a horse clan, who can use beast transformation to become centaurs.
And there archers.
Hell I'm surprised we haven't learned a variation of the Four Legs Technique for Kon to emulate monkeys better.
Also, are apes a different category of summon all together or are they lumped in?
Choji's speech goes on for a bit longer before he steps down.
Itachi then gets up from his chair and makes his way to the podium. Neji offers to assist him, but the Hokage refuses, intent on keeping up a strong front.
"Thank you for those words, Choji." the Sixth begins. "Every single one of these ninja did indeed give their life to protect the Leaf Village. I want to make that point very clear. You see, my father is one of those ninja. We had been somewhat estranged these past few years. He was known for always putting the good of the Clan first, above even the village. Yet he still gave his life in the defense of the village. Because his clan is a part of the Leaf. Everyone precious to him is a part of this village, so its defense was worth giving his life for. No matter what kind of life he lived, to die in that way proves that the Will of Fire burns ever strong in the Leaf. I know with the utmost certainty that this village will last forever, so long as we still have ninja willing to defend it with their lives. No matter what, one value has always shown through in the darkest of times, above all others. And it was displayed brilliantly by all one hundred and ninety four of the shinobi that we are gathered here today to give a final farewell. Their sacrifice in the name of the Leaf Village is the reason it will stay standing forever. They may have passed, but their Will of Fire lives on in all of us."
The Hokage cuts it there, and heads back to his chair, very faintly shaking.
All the attendees get up and make one final go around.
>A.Go talk to someone (specify)
Kon is fighting in Sage levels
He just had a fist fight with the fucking pain and lived m8
go check on tsunade.
"Hey Tsunade sensei I didn't see you .... OHGODWHATAREYOUDOING, IDIDNOTNEEDTOSEETHAT"
"Hey come on now Kon Tsunade's a very attractive lady."
"I was talking about you old man."
>>A.Go talk to someone (specify)
My Lord you should not push yourself to far, get some rest. By the way what happend to this "Shisui's eye" that was mentioned when you fought Danzo. And Sir if you do want to talk about something you've got a loving wife and friends who'd be happy to help (even Itachi needs to vent sometimes).
>A. Go talk to someone (Choji)
Just...talk to the guy. Say we never would have expected that shy kid with potato chips a few years ago to stand up in front of the village and speak with so much confidence. Avoid some corny line like 'Your dad would be proud.' Try to smile, but keep it toned down, considerate of the atmosphere.
If we can, signal we'd like to talk to Shikamaru later. >>44799548 That's a good idea.
Jiraiya did that without senjutsu, he's just got that much chakra on his own merits. Besides, that's a protagonist-tier feat, you can't compare us to something like that. Kon's whole thing is that while he's the main character, he's not a protagonist in the traditional sense.
No what I mean is...Kon's not a defining part of the plot. He interacts with it, he's not some powerless observer, but it's not centered around him. This isn't his story, this is a story that he's a character in. So he doesn't have the narrative weight to go around pulling off grand impossible feats to demonstrate how cool he is. He's got to show awesomeness with actual competence, instead.
That's not a hard and fast rule. Certainly some bloodlines give increased chakra supplies, but others actually lead to lesser ones. The Hyuuga for example have normal chakra supplies and are just much more efficient with what they do have.
I don't recall if it was ever said. I imagine it must be reasonably large to keep exploding things left and right, but that's just a guess.
No, the hand-mouths are a separate thing from Explosion Release. Some sort of kinjutsu that made him grow them. The bloodline lets him make things blow up, the kinjutsu lets him bring clay to life, combining them gets him exploding golems.
You make your way over to the Hokage's chair.
"Lord Itachi, try not to push yourself to hard." you warn. "You should get some rest. And don't forget you have a wife and friends who are always happy to help you."
"Yes, I know." the Sixth smiles. "This incident has made me aware of just how important family is. I can't exactly say I'm proud of how little I've depended on them. I intend to do everything I can from now on to strengthen our bonds. I just spoke with my mother the other day, and that was the first time she ever met her grandson. My father never got to meet him at all. That just won't do. I am going to mend this relation with the clan no matter what. Luckily I have Sasuke to help me."
"You mentioned 'Shisui's eye' when you fought Danzo." you say, changing the subject. "What happened with that?"
"It was destroyed when Danzo self-destructed with a seal." the Hokage explains. "Since I destroyed the other one years ago, it seems that Kotoamatsukami will never be used again."
"Is it possible to get another Kage Summit together?" you ask. "We need to try and salvage relations with the other villages."
"Another summit may take moths to achieve at the soonest. " Itachi replies. "For now our best bet is building rapport with the other villages individually. Once we do that, another summit may be possible. Speaking of which, good luck on your trip to the Stone today. Will there be anything else?"
>B.No, that's it (Leave)
>C.No that's it (Go talk to someone else)
Give it to Anko. Why is this still something we're debating? We can't use it, she needs it, and it prevents Kabuto from getting his hands on it. There is no reason not to give it to her other than stubbornness about how cool swords are. If we want a cool sword we can get our own, one that we can actually use instead of being locked out of all the functions that make it cool.
"I uhm...I had a thought...of...look, we almost died, there. All of us. Some of us did. I mean...I don't want to be alone, ya know? I...want to ask, if it's...okay, look, Kurotsuchi. I think she's interested, and I'm interested to, and after this...I don't know, I guess I want some advice. I'm not good at this kind of thing."
Awkward as fuck, might need to be toned down, but a sentiment we should probably share with him.
And having Anko use it is a pretty good "fuck you", too. Using the weapon of the man who traumatized her to defend the family she's made for herself, turning it from a memory of pain to one of determination. Deny Orochimaru any power, even in death.
Then again orochi gave the sword to us simply because he was all like "ehhhh imma die anyway so fuck it keep the sharp stick i don't really care also sumthing sumthing senpai to kohai kthxbay"
I know there's something to be said for asking permission rather than forgiveness, but it's really not at that point yet.
"No, that's all." you say.
You bid the Hokage farewell and start to leave. You pass by your classmates, all making conversation. Kiba is hanging off of Sasuke's shoulder, teasing him.
"Head of your clan as a Genin, very impressive Sasuke!" Kiba chuckles. "You really should amend that though. I'm pretty sure Konohamaru's teammates are looking to enter the Chunin exams in a couple of months, maybe you could join them?"
As they all go on, Shikamaru and Ino approach you.
"Hey Kon, I just got filled in on some things that happened during the assault." Shikamaru tells you. "I don't really know why, but I felt like I should fill you in. Unless you don't want me to."
>A.Go ahead, fill me in
>B.Nah, keep it on a need to know basis
>C.I had something else I wanted to talk to you about
See, for any normal girl from the leaf, that'd be fine.
But Kurotsuchi has a kekkei genkai, her grandfather has the kekkei tota and is the Tsuchikage, we're one of the leaf's foremost ninja and a bonafide badass as well as a strong potential hokage candidate in addition to our own brand new Kekkei Genkai (which is arguably also derivative of an Iwa one)
Point is, Kurotsuchi is a political mess and the only current option at the same time. And while it makes sense for Kon to be showing interest in her given the recent attack (I can die quickly), it's something he'd ask about first as a rational person.
>A. Go ahead. And I kinda...got a political question for you after.
His village, the thing he protects with everything that he is, has a massive crater in it that, while mitigated, still caused some damage and killed some people. He should be feeling Something for that.
Yeah, but he's generally been aloof and detached. I've taken that as rationalizing shit "For the good of the village."
From what Kon has shown he's a cold motherfucker who thinks first about the village and second to everything else and making a political shitstorm is probably not included in his agenda
It can't hurt to be more informed. And if Shikamaru thinks it's a good idea, it likely is.
"Go ahead, fill me in." you respond. "What happened?"
"It's about the prisoner's escape." Shikamaru tells you. "The building was destroyed, and they were free to leave in the confusion. Except Hinata was in the process of being interrogated at the time. Ino and her father were there. Inoichi wasn't able to get much out before the assault gave Hinata a chance to disable him and escape, but he did learn a bit. Most notably, about how she intended to go to the Uzumaki shrine and take a mask. This mask apparently has some connection to saving Naruto from his fate to be killed extracting the nine tails. That's all we were able to get. We did go check the shrine, and the mask is gone. I don't know if this info will actually be of any use to you, but I wanted you to know about it anyway."
>B.You should tell Sasuke
>C.I had something else I wanted to talk about
>D. Don't tell Sasuke quite yet. He's in a weird place emotionally. The last thing we need is him running off after Hinata. Tell the Hokage, and advise him to tell Sasuke. Itachi knows his brother, he'll do it right.
The cycle of hatred only perpetuates if there are survivors. We'll eventually kill Naruto, and that will end the cycle.
Well, for one thing it's a lazy plot device that I hated when it showed up in canon, and was kind of hoping we wouldn't have to deal with here. For another I just find everything to do with this timeline's Naruto to be incredibly frustrating, and the thought of him getting away with another step of his plans without us being able to do anything to stop it is infuriating.
She turned traitor because a boy she met once when she was six (remember, this Naruto was kidnapped by Obito around that age, so she likely never saw anything of him except their initial meeting) asked her to. She then decided to rob mankind of free will and plunge the world into a existential nightmare because he thinks that's the only way to have peace. She's either a monster or an idiot.
You don't quite know what this all means, but it's good to know regardless.
"Thanks." you tell Shikamaru. "Sasuke should probably know this too. Though maybe it'd be better for his brother to tell him..."
"I agree." Shikamaru replies. "He'll know how to tell him. I'll suggest it to Lord Itachi."
With that said, you leave the ceremony. You head back to Sasuke's house to get all your things together for the journey. Once that's done, you have some free time.
>B.Do some training
>C.Go see Han and Roshi
>D.Go see someone else
Okay, I actually just realized something that might make this less frustrating. Naruto's probably going to use the mask not to revive himself but to revive Minato and take the Yin half of Kurama in him. While this means we'll still have to fight a Tailed Beast-enhanced Naruto, it also means we'll get Minato's biting commentary about how much of a little shit his son is and that he regrets ever entrusting the future to him. "God, I should have just let Madara blow you up when you were a newborn, it would have saved us all a lot of suffering".
>Tsuchikage dies of a heart attack
>Kurotsuchi becomes the new Tsuchikage
>By the time Kon returns to Konoha there's a newer, stronger alliance in place, with the Stone willing to go to bat for the Leaf
>Itachi asks what we did
>"A gentleman never tells."
Pretty sure there's some fate reversal shit going on here
Naruto is trying to do things alone like Indra, while Sasuke keeps mentioning how important other people are like Ashura
Shit got weird somewhere
Wait, no, now I'm seeing frustrating things again now that I'm remembering Minato. His jinchuriki status is proof that Laze lied to us way back when we wanted to become the Three-Tails' host and were told that not having had him from early childhood we'd never be able to properly harness his power. So yeah, that was just him arbitrarily denying us a powerup while arbitrarily giving powerups to Sasuke. Fuck you, Laze. What, are you going to say that it was because he was "born again" or some shit that let him properly commune with Yin Kurama while being dead?
Minato being able to commune with Yin Kurama while he was dead was total bullshit that made no sense, especially considering everyone was revived like no time had passed for them
Pretty sure Kishi just wanted Minato to look even better
Anyway, that won't be happening in this quest no matter what
>I come back to this quest after a few months of missing threads
>First thing I see
>Laze destroying something from the canon that I hated
The fact that it makes absolutely no sense and wasn't even the slightest bit hinted at existing before it appeared in the story to solve the problem of "we haven't filled our quota for month-long flashbacks that ruin the pacing".
The other half of Kurama has to be somewhere, it can't just be gone. The mask is fine, it just releases the souls that were consumed by the Reaper Death Seal. It was kind of pulled out of nowhere, but it didn't cause any contradictions.
That still may very well happen.
Anyway I should get back to writing.
Would Naruto really give a fuck in this timeline? I've missed a bit and had to binge read, so I might have missed something along the lines of him saying he loved his parents.
Yes, it is. I've missed this shit and I am especially pleased by the fact that there is fan art of Kon as well.
I don't think so. Its more that Naruto was never loved, so he joins Obito. And then he finds out that the guy he followed to escape the village is the same guy that killed his parents and created the villagers loathing him. And that his father, who would have loved him if he stayed with the village but took the hatred thrown at him, is so very very very disapointed with him. Mostly it's the fact that it would crush Naruto soul.
You decide to go see Han and Roshi once more.
On the way there, you summon Sarujizo to see how he's doing. He's still a bit banged up, but he assures you that he'll be fine in a few more days.
"Konohamaru is about ready to come back too." Sarujizo informs you. "His training has gone quite well."
You dismiss Sarujizo as you come up to the building you seek.
You go inside to find the former Jinchuuriki as before, along with Kankuro and Temari. Tenzo is here, he seems to be filling in for Shikamaru today.
"Hey, Kon." Tenzo waves. "You here to see Han and Roshi before you leave with them tomorrow?"
You nod, then Kankuro speaks up.
"We'll be taking Gaara home tomorrow as well." Kankuro tells you. "So I guess this is it for a while."
>A.Talk to Han and Roshi
>B.Talk to someone else first
>>B.Talk to someone else first
Ask Kankuro to take a picture of the look on his dads face when he sees Gaara.
>A.Talk to Han and Roshi
about hyped they are wanting to see the looks on all the stone people faces when they role in.
>Finally meets his father
>get the most epic dressing down by him
>realizes that I've ruined all these people's lives for nothing
Oh god, now I want it to happen, anon. I want to crush this blonde fucker's self-esteem now.
Someone needs to make a Naruto version of this with Sakura and Naruto.
You smirk at Kankuro. "Make sure you get a picture of your dad's face when he sees Gaara."
"Heh." Kankuro laughs. "You know, I just might do that."
You turn back to Han and Roshi, who have stopped bothering to lean against separate walls.
"So we leave tomorrow, eh?" Roshi strokes his beard. "Do you intend to learn more of other releases? We could teach you on the way, if we took a leisurely pace."
>A.That would be great
>B.Nah, we don't have time for that
>C.Talk about something else
>>A.That would be great
We will likely only make a single long stop, enough for me to learn the last of the five elements, for now however care to teach me some fire moves? (for counter blondie)
You don't think you're in any particular rush, so taking your time to train doesn't sound bad at all.
"That would be great." you reply. "We'll see the extent of releases I can use."
"Well, we don't mind teaching you." Han says. "Once we return to the Stone, I want to see if I can get into teaching more. I think I might have a knack for it."
"It all depends on the old man's reaction." Roshi adds. "If he doesn't have a heart attack when he sees us, that is."
You talk a bit longer with Han and Roshi, but the day begins to drag on. It's nearly evening now. You intend to leave early next morning, so if there's anything left to do before you leave, it'll have to be now.
>A. Go somewhere (Specify)
>B. Go see someone (Specify)
>C. Head home and turn in
>D. Talk to someone here
As you leave, you think about the sword at your hip, Kusanagi. Orochimaru let you have it, but you don't have a contract with the snakes, so you can't use it to its full potential. But you know someone who can.
You head to Iruka Sensei and Anko's house and knock on the door. You wait a few moments, then the door opens. Genma is behind it.
"You need something, Kon?" he asks, fiddling with the toothpick in his mouth.
You tell him you're here to talk to Anko, and he lets you in.
You find her in the living room along with Iruka Sensei and Taiyaki. Genma's other two team members are at the edges of the room keeping an eye out.
"Well if it isn't Kon." Anko says as she notices you come in. "I hear you did nice work protecting the village. Good on you, kid. So did you need to see me for something?"
>A.I wanted to give you this sword
>B.Ask about something
>C.Talk to someone else
>D.See how Taiyaki is doing
Before you respond to Anko, you make your way over to Taiyaki. The boy is almost two years old now, and his left eye is yellow like you remember the three tails', while his purple hair falls down in his face and covers his right. He's standing on his own, and jutting his hands around, grabbing hold of anything he get.
"Cute, huh?" Iruka laughs. "Not much of a talker, we barely get a peep out of him. But I'm sure he'll grow into it."
You turn back to Anko and take Kusanagi from your hip.
"I figure you could get better use out of this than me." you tell her. "I wanted to give it to you. It should obey someone with the snake contract."
Anko reaches out and grabs it, inspecting it with mild shock.
"This is Kusanagi..." she muses. "I saw Orochimaru use this sword quite often. I guess since he's gone, it needs a new owner. You really want me to have it?"
You nod, and Anko takes a stance and does a couple of practice swings opposite your direction.
"You can use it to protect Taiyaki." you suggest. "That's a much better use for it than it had before."
Anko looks at the sword a bit longer before putting it away.
"Thanks." Anko smiles. "I guess this is some kind of poetic justice, huh? Quite the gift, though. I don't think there's anything I could do to repay you."
>A.Don't mention it
>B.Just keep Taiyaki safe
>C.Say something else
>D.Talk to someone else
You just offer Anko a smile in return.
"Don't mention it." you say. "Just keep Taiyaki safe."
You say goodbye, then head back to Sasuke's house.
As you arrive, you find Sasuke and his mother sitting at the table as your Uncle dishes out dinner.
"Just in time!" your Uncle smiles. "Take a seat, Kon."
You join everyone at the table and start eating.
"I'm going to be leaving on a mission tomorrow." you say. "Take care while I'm gone, Uncle."
He assures you that he will, and you turn to Sasuke.
"Sasuke, you better keep an eye on things here, while I'm gone." you insist jokingly.
"Of course." Sasuke replies. "I intend to stay here for a while until things get in order again."
After eating, you head up to bed to get a full night's sleep. Tomorrow, you head to the Stone yet again. This time you hope you'll be able to establish a lasting relation, and repair any damage that's been dealt.
>End of Chapter 53
I'm afraid that's all for today. I've got a math CLEP on Tuesday, and I haven't done any math since high school, so next thread should be Wednesday.
