Last time you severely screwed over the poor and helpless Vek. You THOUGHT you were doing him a favor with getting him a girlfriend and some treasures. Who would of thought that the crit fail for once wouldn't effect you? So Vek is otherwise occupied and out of desperation you turned to your lover for those plans of hers...no really you totally did.

Its not like you want to get them out of the way because Vek is otherwise occupied and your plans sorta failed massively. You kinda doubt Vek is ever gonna forgive you for this...and your not entirely looking forward to what he will come up with for the sake of payback.

Alas your lover apparently was caught offguard by the sudden request and muttered about moving in and having a wild time...

Turned out all she had planned was moving you in after swapping out the bed for a smaller one and moving other stuff around to make room for your stuff. Apparently the rest of it she has to wait for Vek for some reason.

This gives you a bad feeling...

Well, I'm not sure if the Scythe is ready yet but I'm not ready to ask Vek for it yet.

We need a good secondary weapon because as shown our fists aren't exactly able to suffice a lack of a sword.

I was thinking we get the Scythe from Vek while it's as of yet unfinished, then give it to the Dawrf hellforger to make it proper (and probably faster).

You decided you wanted to watch the unholy hell you just unleashed on Vek...problem was you weren't sure how you could do that exactly. So you gave in and asked Nova. She told you only something like a dungeon keeper could manage it, but seeing your dishearten expression. She agreed to take you there. So with a sudden whoof of strange energies you found yourself...somewhere else yet nowhere. This strange place you could see no feel two types of energies pervading the place. One of which was much smaller and so much weaker then the other as it was being overwhelmed. Yet somehow it was hanging on...it was interacting with each other. The crackling of the energies and the cracking of space itself before its might was incrediable. You could feel yourself getting utterly pervaded in such peculiar power. It made you sick...but for Nova it made her shine with a brilliant light and a joyous smile as well as a twinkle in her eye indicated it was very pleasant for her.

Even as sudden bursts and pops of powerful explosions flung you around she kept still before speaking. Suddenly an area of calm formed around her and was a useful refuge for yourself. She however would walk out of it and into the chaos of swirling energies outside.

Despite being in the barrier area of calm you could steel feel the whum of such energies. You could also hear strange voices and whispers that spoke of much secrets, powers, and desires. Luckily though they were heavily dampened and you felt attraction to their sayings.

It took you a little while but eventually you realized this was the space where Vek was...and where she took you that one time when she was managing the dungeon's development. You only realized it when you saw Vek's apparatus being blasted from all directions with unbelievably potent energies you both were located in the area. The whirring and whumming of the energies being blasted everywhere was insane.

Nova however strode outside into the worst of it seemingly enjoying the experience. Her presence however caused some fluctuations to suddenly appear and as she made the gesture of grabbing something. Suddenly a vortex appeared and she spoke.

When she spoke sudden stillness appeared as the sudden area of chaos became a still void instead of the previous mass of chaos. Just as things suddenly and finally seemed to calm down a massive pulse of energy appeared as the vortex collapsed. As it passed through it caused everything to shudder and the barrier you were hiding behind collapsed. Just as things appeared to be normal finally(at least compared to the last time you came here). You suddenly felt no heard a cracking sound as if several realities were being torn apart and forcefully smashed together. After that though things finally settled down as Nova skipped on back over to you and slapped you on the back saying you would get used to it eventually...

You do not in fact believe her whatsoever.

So, vek probably isn't going to work on our weapon with any enthusiasm.

Thing is we JUST found the perfect Crazy Dwarf who also happens to be a hell forger.

Problem is we're piss broke. Also our compass fails us in finding things that a 1) crazy 2) dwarf 3) female would like.

Boo, Nova. . .for some reason I can't help but feel bandits are supposed to know a little bit about crazy or mad people. You wouldn't happen to have any ideas on how I can find sometihng to pay her with to make my weapon instead of Vek? He's going to be busy for a bit. . .

We could use some better hand to hand skills, as shown by how we weren't really able to give a dent to whatever that elite boss monster was.

Use our Power Gloves and train in the fisting skills we know as well as the boots. Have Nova wear her armor. We need to learn how to punch weak spots and joints in armor so in case we experience that kind of situation again we aren't entirely useless.

Suggest to Nova we train together. We should improve our unarmed skills together. In case we ever meet that situation. We could even train against her armor because we were unable to make a dent on an armored Elite Boss last time.

Nova takes up your offer for training. Which results in you finding out her armor is tough as shit and hits hard. Luckily its rather dim without her inside of it unfortunately this doesn't mean it don't know how to fight because it does and very well at that. As for Nova's unarmed skills they are notably lacking compared to when she has a weapon in hand. Sadly she makes up for this with power, speed, and endurance. Apparently Vek REALLY wasn't kidding when he claimed that she was being specially prepared with special goodies to help cultivate herself. She hits much harder then her body would indicate and not all of it is due to magical enhancing.

Fighting her inside the armor was the worst. As she started to hit even harder, become harder to harm, and her abilities were even further enhanced as the two worked in unison. I was sorta like fighting two people at once if they were sharing the same body. She could even duel wield with ease when she was in her armor. While outside it she never bothered to do so.

When it comes to biggest and meanest mushrooms. Only one comes to mind that exists in Vek's Dungeon. The legendary and infamous Corpse Crowned Mushroom. A vile fungi that infests corpses with its spores forcefully animating them to protect itself. The rot and decay meanwhile serves to feed its growth as it continues to expand. The corpse crown shroom that you know about is located in the mass graveyard where Nova and her troops dump bodies at. Place is entirely overrun with shroom zombies and its why you had previously avoided the place. That shroom garden is the place to be for your search and its best to go now before it transforms into a shroom forest. The corpse crown mushroom is something even you knew about and heard from at the adventuring academy. It feeds upon rot and necrotic energy. It relies upon zombification to spread its spores and to nurture new outbreaks of itself all the while using it as another form of protection. As it grows it will even start to attract undead to itself and acquire further special abilities. Mature corpse crowned mushrooms are extremely dangerous to the living and even the undead due to its spores eating away at them. Not even the dead are safe from its touch.

So you sneaked and fought your way through the corpse laden mass graveyard of a mushroom garden to the biggest mushroom that you could find. One that just so happened to be pulsating with necrotic energies and when you unleashed the demonic dead skill. Suddenly an explosion of energy emerged from it and nearly knocked you unconscious. Instead it merely sent you flying as the energies clashed and the explosion wore off...revealing a strange crater radiating demonic energies.

At first you thought it was a failure until you saw 'something' grasp its way out. That and seeing a bunch of spores and broken dead parts go flying inside the crater. Eventually that something emerged from the crater and howled as energies clashed together within itself.

That something looked like a horrid amalgamation of different broken body parts into one mass, wearing a mushroom crown, and coursing with unnatural energies that continued to twist its very being. When it saw you however it roared and you could feel the choker you were wearing suddenly turn icy. That was when it proceeded to head towards you.

Fuck.

Right when it was nearly upon you however it suddenly halted and your ring that was given to you by Nova suddenly felt like it was burning hot. It however no longer seemed to be hostile even as the hostiles continued to battle inside itself and further twist its form.

...crap a 100 on explore. Too bad for you there are places you cannot reach do to being too weak still. Alas you DID find those secret areas...

There were in fact three of them. One of which was stuffed to the brim with extremely valuable and unique treasures. A 'treasury' so to speak. Another hidden zone was crawling with very magical, rare, and unique fungi. While another was using bugs instead and yet another appeared to be plants were being prepared. The other two were oddly bare except one held a goblin settlement. Clearly Vek must have something planned for the empty ones...

Outside the hidden area and disguised passages. Of which were clearly the cave 'secret'(but fake) passages that you found led to nothing but trouble. The REAL ones which your girlfriend used looked exactly like the ordinary ones...except what they led to wasn't so and they had legit short cuts.

Outside of the hidden areas that you were able to access thanks to figuring out the 'real' secret passages. You have discovered that the dungeon has expanded BIG TIME since the last time you came through. But somehow even worse was your exploratory options were limited thanks to the much stronger creatures and new changes. What you could safely explore was rather limited. The magical and giant bugs as well as fungi caused you endless problems.

The second layer meanwhile that you went down to was a strange mixture of plants. Go too far in one direction it becomes jungle or forest and even plains. Sometimes the temperature will also wildly change and there are steams as well as pools of water scattered all around. Sometimes creating marshes but regardless the place is entirely overrun with plants. Much of which would appear to be common ones and the only things you found down there were bugs and some goblins for some reason.

Another secret you found was a third layer was under construction. What it will turn out to be you don't know. As it was rippling with powerful energies.

You went out to kill some monsters which were the typical bugs and fungi. The mushroom monster as it turned out fucking WRECKS other fungi and bugs quickly fall before it under a hail of spores...only to pick themselves up under its command. Soon there was an entire troop of spored zombie bugs following behind the demonic mushroomed undead monster. Meanwhile it just eerily creaks and stomps behind you. Honestly kind of creepy especially with this whole undead demonic shroom monster vibe it has going on. Your not even sure what the hell the damned thing is even called...on the plus side it doesn't have the desire to kill you and even follows you around without question.

You decide to further push your luck...by going after Vek's Treasury. You figure that the big guy aught to give you a chance to get in. So you headed that way and sure enough the big bastard successfully breaksthrough the doors. There stood the treasury. Full of items, goods, treasures, money, and more. Alas that was when the self defense mechanism suddenly kicked in. Guardians started to arise from those treasures and advanced. Weapons and other items started to fly. While armors got up, armed themselves, and approached.

Let's try something new.

We want to capture these treasures, not destroy them. But we can't do them while they're attacking.

Use Desecrate Dead on the zombie followers, we need a POWER BOOST!

Using the newfound power, bring out the Capture Chain.

To the shadows! Give Shadowbro one end of the chain and we hold the other, and the both of us start Shadow Stepping and Speed Looting around the hostile armors and weapons, and then with the Capture Chain start wrangling and tying them up.

Use Shadow Strike to tie em up twice just to be safe. We want the loot, we'll have to tame it ourselves!

Desecrate dead activated. You have received a power up. Sadly considering how they were already animated and desecrated the benefits were minimal.

Afterwards you brought out the capture chain and gave one end to the shadowbro. After that you both proceeded to start shadowstepping and speed looting in unison to wrangle, capture, as well as tie up the loot that were resisting. You even included a shadow strike to tie them up twice and in a hidden way. Good thing too considering a number of them would of otherwise avoided it or broken free without. Even so some of the treasures were powerful enough to escape it or weren't caught in the first place.

Even so you were able to successfully disable a a chunk or two of them.

I actually made a pic of my idea. Something that will make good use of the chains after we discovered today. It's less the style first, and more the equipment idea.

Also make something to help us keep track on the weapon progress.

I also had an idea for a necrotic-demonic poison shroud.

This should make us much more effective at killing stuff in between chains bringing them down to ground, poison clouds choking them, and then we move in for the kill.

I gather you mean only the weapons and equipment to be bound to the book?

Also we should check what kind of loot we got first, before binding them into the book or whatever. No need to do that to gold or jewlery.

As for the plague shroud, that was my endgame intent for the mushroom man. He should provide passive debuffs in the form of spores/draining and it seems the added benefit of being able to turn the fallen... He should be exelent at slowing and weakening powerful foes.
