Rotating DM game in an almost completely blank setting. DMs can make up details as they see fit. As a DM feel free to run whatever modules, adventures, quests you want. Make em up if you want to. I've made some homerule changes to classes/races too. Biggest change is darkvision is not really a thing anymore. I'll be DMing for the first few sessions no matter what, but after that we'll start rotating.

Read the roll20 and make an application if you're interested.

Games will go for 5-6 hours. Can use either voice or text, depending on what everyone would prefer.

My style of GMing is very simulationist, you should be prepared for circumstances that makes sense within the context of the setting, without any regard for balance or the plot. If you're fighting someone or something, there is a reason for it.

I like the idea as both a player and a GM of having characters build things, whether it be a base or an organization.

I have experience GMing GURPS, WoD, Pathfinder, 40kRPG (all but Only War), and Eclipse Phase. I've got experience playing all those as well as L5R, nasuverse RPG, and DoubleCross.

While I completely understand why people would prefer voice, i really can't do it.
And the fact that i'm too shy - or too much of a fucking autistic sperglord take your pick - is only one side of the issue.
Much more important is the fact that i've moved back to my parents for a year and the walls here are paper thin, which makes staying up and doing voice at 3 am (I'm in CET) not possible.

I have a bunch of game pitches, all under NWoD. 1950's Mafia Geist, modern-day Geist, Meiji Period Vampire, 1930's Noir Changeling, and maybe a few others. I'm also open to other ideas. Well, the original thing was that the GM who was going to be running the game was going to be doing it for the first time, so I was asking him a bunch of stuff as a joke, or just to mess with him, and one of the things I asked him was if I could play as a hermaphrodite. He said yes to that, because 1. it was his fetish, and 2. so she could hook up with his questgiver DMPC.

So then I thought that I'd mess with him by not just making her fetish bait. The idea I went with was that the Fire Elemental who one of her ancestors had a child with ended up messing with her gene pool, so a lot of the kids in their line had genetic deformities. My character ended up as a hermaphrodite, along with some stunted fingers, but otherwise looked fine. She got sent to learn magic on the pretense that no husband would want a wife with a dick and balls. She's older, in her late 30s, and has burn marks and scars on her face and hands from magic accidents.

I have 5 players currently but 1-2 haven't shown up so I'm fishing for some potential replacements or prospects. The story setup involves you guys being 'shepherds' of a very wealthy city in Carcassone, the southernmost Bretonnian province. Shepherd is code word for mercenary. The mood is sort of like Bloodborne meets Game of Thrones meets Dark Heresy meets The Once and Future King. This is going to be a long campaign if it goes well. Expect bad accents from the GM but colorful characters. Given how the city is a trade hub of sorts, characters from all walks of life are welcome. Expect the game to be more epic than your typical Warhammer game. Very roleplay heavy so please come up with a character that has long-term plot hooks. If you want to make a knight-errant or someone else tied to the area, you're more than welcome to and I'll help integrate your character's story into the story of the area. We're using the Storm of Chaos timeline and saying fuck End Times.
