Is classical music approved in the Imperium of Man? I try every day to live up to the Emperor's ideals in real life, but sometimes it gets really hard to decide on things like this.
Help me /tg/.
If it was made by a good, Empra-fearing human, it is accepted

Is there a time cutoff? Does that mean pretty much everything made prior to the 20th century is ok?
In one of the Ravenor books, an Interrogator (Inquisitor in training) was playing music for enjoyment and was listening to a light opera about the Horus Heresy.

the vast majority of pre-Imperial history is lost thanks to the destruction of the Age of Strife and the Horus Heresy. What's left is basically little more than myth. Or whenever an author wants to go 'hue hue git dis reference'
>In 40k, thought is a very material, tangible thing
>All thoughts, emotions and ideas are imprinted in the timeless nether realm of the Warp
>A composer with latent psychic ability in the 41st millenium is moved by divine inspiration to compose the greatest piece ever made
>Works of Bach's, Schubert's, Beethoven's and many other composers are rewritten and echoe down the millenia, spread by the galactic-spanning Ecchlesiarchy
I find this thought beautiful and fascinating
