if this is a necromunda or specialist game thread, why does mordheim have such a large following while necromundas following is almost non existent

Simple, miniature availability and more playable races
think about it, for necromunda and mordheim you need basically two tings
-Dense Scenery
-Miniatures
the scenery part is "easy", you can make your own, but you need lots of it to play both games right
then we have miniatures, for mordheim you can have the "Empire Free Company" and you have enough miniatures for two human warbands, for the other races, basically you can take a box of basic troops add some green stuff and use it (dwarves, skaven, beastmen, lizardmen, orcs and goblins, etc) and done, you got your warband and you can play with skaven slingshot spam you cheeky bastard.
But for Necromunda, at most you can use a box of catachan, fantasy flagellants, and now chaos cultists for some warbands and there isn't any more boxes from 40k to chose from, besides all warbands on necromunda are "human", you need the necromunda miniatures to represent necromunda factions, so is harder than mordheim to make a warband, also you don't get to play a ork, necron, tau or eldar warband
also GW made Gorkamorka but aparently never took off, even that you need less scenery, you can use vehicles because is ORKS ALL DAY EVERY DAY aparently

for the table of gorkamorka you a fort (if need it), some hills, a few scater terrain and you are done, and yes you can add more scenery if you want, but in contrast to Necromunda or Mordheim you don't need 5 metric fucktons of scenery to play

You can play as orkz in Necronmunda in the outlanders expansion and most people don't use the vechiels in Necronmunda because they are to OP

Warriors of ultramar had a hive gang fighting a lictor as part of bits b plot.

Heard that the specialist games are getting attention from Forge World.

Will these games make GW regain some of the good it had back then? And GW had some good in it back then.
